I have never experienced such great…
I have never experienced such great service before. I have been traveling to Greece for 15 years, and this was by far the best experience I’ve had with a car rental company.
Everything was perfect – the price, the service, and even helpful travel tips about places to visit in the country. The team is fantastic, very friendly, and extremely trustworthy.
From now on, I will only rent my car here. This was truly one of the best parts of my vacation. Highly recommended!

Unprofessional personnel and bad policies and procedures....
Personnel rude and unprepared. According to the European regulation, international driving licence is meant to be showed with a valid ID only. Both: Rent.it and Location are asking to show with the international driving licence together with another driving license! Both companies "terms and conditions" don't even match and this cause a mess for which, I got confused and then they refused to provide the car and left me in the airport abandoned.
SHAMEFULL!!!! AWFUL!!! THIS IS THE 3RD MILLENNIUM!!!!
Of course NO REFOUNDS!!!
This will be reported soon to local police and Italian transportation authority!

Dear customer, in the rental terms and conditions - that you declared to have read and approved - it was indicated that the foreign driving license must be presented in original together with the international driving license. Those are the rules of the rental car company and to this rules you have to abide. In your case, since you didn't have the original driving license with you, they were in their right not to rent you the booked car.

Stay far away from this scam. I booked an Alamo rental with rent.it for a good price, and it gave me an Alamo voucher which I confirmed on Alamo's website which worked fine. However, shortly before our trip I was just checking to make sure everything was OK and I saw on Alamo's website that the reservation was cancelled!
I called Alamo and talked to Level 2 support and they told me that rent.it was using "hacked codes" and they cancelled rent.it's reservations and told rent.it to inform everyone that their reservations were cancelled. rent.it never told me so I was left scrambling at the last minute to book something else, since Alamo had run out of cars.
To top it off, rent.it has not refunded my credit card!
Stay far away from these scammers.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. My original contract with them was for an Alamo rental for $210.00 confirmed Feb 19, with a deposit of $37.80. March 4th I get this email.
"Dear customer,
I regret to inform you that, for inexplicable reasons, Alamo/National has cancelled your reservations with them.
We believe the change is due to a tariff change unilaterally decided by Alamo. In fact, by making a new booking with them, we are now returned to higher rates. It appears that they prefer to cancel reservation without informing their partners and customers instead of honoring them.
We rebooked a car with them at the rate they are currently supplying.

The problem is the new booking is $658.00, to which they took the liberty of charging another deposit of $98.00. I would NEVER had agreed to this. They should have e-mailed me before charging my card. Now they wont answer my email, and being in the US is nearly impossible to contact them by phone to get both deposits back because I cancelled. Beware.

thank you for contacting us. We think there has been a misunderstanding in what happened with your reservation. First of all, please be informed that no other charge has been done to your credit card. As you will be able to see in the statement of account of your credit card, the only charge we made was the first one of $37.80.
Please note that we would have had no reason to rebook your original reservation at an higher price if Alamo hadn't cancelled it. If they would have warned us we would probably had done things differently. In this case, considering the short time before the beginning of your trip, we tried to find a solution in order to not leave you without a vehicle. In retrospective, we realize this has not been the best choice.
The delay in our replies is unfortunately due to the current health emergency. We have now cancelled the new reservation and refunded the original payment.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused.
