Require IT LTD Reviews 516

After reviewing other negative reviews I can now relate to the threatening behaviour from staff and lack of consideration when they make a mistake.

I ordered a replacement screen via eBay for my Lenovo laptop and asked Require IT for a particular LG screen part number for a direct replacement which was confirmed to be in stock before I placed the order.

A tracking number was provided for DPD next day delivery and I organised for a local computer technician to come out and swap the screen for me as I needed to get my laptop up and running quickly for work.

The screen arrived on time however frustratingly it was not the part code that Require IT confirmed would be sent. The screen received was an old part number that was discontinued and revised years ago due to ghosting.

I contacted Require IT Ltd who blamed the error on their stocking system, and said that they would refund once the incorrect screen was returned and could not sent the correct part ordered as they did not have it.

I asked Required IT if they would consider discounting the received screen by 50% (£34) which I considered to be a fair and easy resolution for both parties as the part received was inferior to what I had ordered and paid for and also as I had already booked a technician to swap the screen out which would incur costs if rescheduled.

Surprisingly Require IT declined this proposal and I was threatened to be reported to eBay for 'forcing a massive discount'.

I then politely asked for their email address to send the invoice to for the costs incurred due to their error however they got very defensive and also threatened to report me to eBay for ‘billing them with additional costs’.

A full day wasted and I am out of pocket with no consideration of anything but an apology and refund on return.

Now returned incorrect part back for a full refund and I have absorbed the costs incurred.

Order a replacement screen off eBay. Was ready for indicted dispatch. Was useful as was locally situated, so I collected instead. Very efficient great communication. Cant fault the products at all or the service. Excellent.
