I LOVE THE REVEL KIT!!! Flo and Jason are amazing with customer service !! I’ll ALWAYS keep a revel in my arsenal !!!

Ive tried many other e boards. But this one is defiantly up there! It has a scary top speed, yet its extremely stable. I got one of there custom boards, although I did have to wait a bit, it was completely worth it! I was able to try the evolved gt, one of the best e boards out there, but this one, in my opinion and my freinds , is way better!!! If your debating on this and a different e board kit, go with this one! Also the customer service is amazing. They even sent me a video of them completing *my board*

I’ve received my order and it’s incredible! Well worth the wait. No doubt the best way to electrify any longboard. This kit is well put together, well engineered and performs flawlessly. Super quiet and smooth in both acceleration and braking. I truly couldn’t believe it. Incredible value for such a well made product with astounding performance 🤙👏🛹 paired with the 121c Afterburner, I think it’s the best electric longboard you can get.

There are some things I like about the board and some things that I don't. My remote seems to have connectivity issues to the kits. Now one of my batteries isn't working with either kit while the other one still does. But other than those two issues it has performed very well. I emailed them about the battery and I'm hoping to get a response back about the issue only had it a couple months hopefully should be under warranty.

Overall shopping experience was great, few hiccups due to covid 19 in terms of shipping length, but nothing to be upset about.

I first put in a preorder for this product before it was released and was very excited to have a product that I could attach to my prefers skateboard. I started out riding a gen 1 boosted board so I have experience with electric skateboards. With in the first week and a half my battery cut out on me while showing that it still had about half of the battery left on the remote indicator. When I asked for help they had me send the battery back and said they would fix it. When I received the battery back I had the same issue. At this point I again contacted them and asked if I could get my money back they told me I could not because I was out of the 15 day window for there return policy. I think this is messed up because I clearly had the issue before the 15 days and they didn’t fix it. Afterwards I proceeded to have the same issue with both of my batteries and sent them back multiple times. I am not an extreme rider and I bearly got a two charges in before a battery went bad. Coustomer service started asking me how often I road the board and after I told them 400 miles they said that I could be wrong because most Customer's tend to Switch the battery while the remote is on. This wasn’t the case with me because most of the time I had only one battery at a time while the other got repaired. The last issue I had they stopped responding to my emails and I didn’t receive an email back for at least three weeks. After sending them several emails. They apologized and said they would take care of the issue. I sent them the entire kit back and sent a letter in the box stating that the issue has never been resolved. ( I did this because I believed that Coustomer service wasn’t telling the people working on the board that this issue has been ongoing.) they assured me that the problem was fixed and that they send the board out. I received the board today took it out for one ride 7 miles at level 3 while only going around16 miles an hour. It failed while still showing two bars. This cut out is very dangerous and has even caused me to get injured at one point because once it cuts out the breaks no longer work. I don’t recommend anyone get this product. And I’m hoping that by reading this the company gets there act together and helps these customer's who truly believed in there product.

So after a few months researching on esk8s, I finally decided to purchase the Revel Kit purely because after coming from a DH / freeride background, I wanted an esk8 kit that I can easily mount on a speed stiff DH deck with rocker and concave. Plus, I can use Orangatang wheels or Abec 11 wheels with this kit and not some generic urethanes that come standard with most ready built esk8 boards. Also, I wanted the 4WD bundle with extended range battery for the extra power. In addition, there were plenty of rave reviews of this kit on this site as well as on many other sites.

Before I placed my order, I decided to reach out to Revel to clarify a few concerns that I had with kit, such as dealing with wheel bite, shipping timing and the ability to mount the 2 kits on separate decks as a 2WD.

However, after sending them a message on their "Contact Us" website page, I did not get a reply. A week later, I sent them an email to the "help" email address listed on their website to ask the same questions. That email was sent on 11th June 2020 and after 3 weeks, I still have not received a reply. I understand that there may be delays due to Covid 19 but 3 weeks is a little excessive.

In the meantime, I have emailed Meepo and Mellow Boards just to see If they reply promptly, and both companies replied to my emails within 24 hours.

As such, I can't bring myself to part with $1,199 for a company that cannot reply a simple email about their product.

This is such a pity because the Revel Kit was exactly what I was looking for and there are no other kits out there that offer the same flexibility as the Revel Kit. I hope they can rectify their customer service because if they do, I will reconsider this option again.

For now, I just ordered myself a Meepo V3 which I plan to do a deck swop once it arrives.

Best e-skate solution in the market. Speed, torque, swappable battery, swappable deck and wheels. And the ability to make it 4wd. There are no other options anyway.

The Revel kit is amazing! If your looking for a really great electric skateboard, you can't go wrong with this kit! Put it on any deck you like instead of being stuck with whatever deck a company decides they want. The torque and speed of these motors is simply outstanding! The kit has 4 speed settings, but it's so fast I almost never put in the forth speed setting.

I will write a bigger review after I use it for a longet time. For now everything seems good love it very much. Few smaller isuess but qualitty prodacts make it up for it

Took 2 months to arrive to New Zealand.
Good build quality, enough power to go up very steep hills. Versatility to use on existing boards

Update** Got the new battery in less than 2 days. Flo hooked it up. Understanding that everyone is working through a new normal. Definitely worth the wait!**I have really enjoyed the board. My only issue with it is the battery. I bought the extended pack and it dropped the charge and won’t recharge after about a month of riding. I have been working with customer service and it has been slow trying to get it either fixed or replaced.

Guys this kit is great
inexpensive for the technology used direct drive, robust, allows to vary the pleasures and the fun by changing the board, the wheels, the battery or by adding another kit to switch to 4WD.
The after sales service is great! big thanks to FLO !! who took the time to answer my emails when I was in trouble

Love my kit!

Due to COVID-19, it took a long time to arrive, but that's completely understandable. The kit itself is great, DD is super quiet and powerful, exactly what I was hoping for.

My Revel Kit was the best purchase of my life. This machine GLIDES it doesn't roll!
I build boards myself and own the competitor's boards. This thing is head, shoulders and next above any board out there!

Definitely worth the wait (Due to Coronavirus, shipment was a little delayed). 4WD w/extended range package arrived and was mounted on a Tesseract deck in 30 minutes and fully charged in 90 minutes. Syncing remote and testing were flawless and I was blazing around the village immediately thereafter. After some tightening of the truck nuts to increase stability, I'm completely set up and stoked. Nothing quite like the looks on people's faces as a 50 year old kid flies by...

I felt the site had misinformation. Don't make a state you can not stand by. Could have kept me informed better, instead of me having to inquire about what is going on with my order. I understand the circumstance but it's you didn't understand my frustration or concern.
