Unprofessional approach

I agree with BlueSky...

After advertising my car on AutoTrader, REVILO contacted me not identifying themselves as as company (using the autotrader call system and coming through with what appears to be a personal mobile number). The whole phone call is conducted as if they are a private buyer - when in fact they are a trader. This is only made clear on further questioning (I was surprised at the amount of "corporate" questions the "buyer" had suggesting someone was reading off a questionnaire - and this made me wonder whether "Alexandra" was actually not intending to buy the car for herself.).

My car was advertised for £19,900 (a reasonable private market price). To then get back to me with a price of £16,750 is frankly a waste of my and their time and well below even part-exchange offers.

It would be professional courtesy to clarify from the outset that you are not a private buyer but a trader and that you are offering trade and not private prices.

In response to Revilo's reply:
You are missing the point. This isn't about the money (I get that you would pay less than a private buyer). It is about professionalism and pretence.
On a different note, the fairly aggressive way your team responds to the feedback left here by me and others speaks volume and shows a degree of lack of insight and preparedness to take criticism on the chin. If my rating hadn't been one star already, it would be now.

Thank you for your review. Having listened to the call it really doesn't justify a 1 star review simply because we didn't offer you the asking price for the vehicle. We were very open and honest about who were were and what our process was, the conversation was polite and jovial. We contacted you on the telephone via Autotrader as that was your preferred method of contact. We simply asked questions regarding the condition of the vehicle like any purchaser would do. Wishing you well with the sale
Reply: There is nothing aggressive in our response to your review, on the contrary, we comment of joviality and wishing you well. The previous review, that you agreed with, has been edited and we wouldn't want to repeat the words and terms he was using - It was offensive to so many people, thankfully now overtyped.

Masters Of Con & Intimidatory Behaviour - Avoid!

I'd never heard of Revilo, until they called having scavenged on Auto Trader! Just like many of the other negative reviews here this company uses Auto Trader to find a car, then call the owner. ''Hello, I'm calling about the car you have listed on Auto Trader, how are you today?'' Being savvy to this kind of menace, I said, ''Fine, are you a car dealer?’' Jack had to admit he was! I said, ''I am not about to get into a debate about the price of my car, the valuation is accurate, if you can't get close then stop!’’ I told him I was in the trade and know how it works. I said, ‘’You will make the right noises, get me on board, promise a call back and offer me £1,000 less!'' His act was to deny the truth, assure me he wouldn’t and said, quote, ‘’If I can get close, I will call you back’’. Then, as I knew, a phone call, and this time from Tom, with, more over familiarity (a sales trick to make the potential customer feel befriended) and said, ‘’We have come up with the best price for your car’’, then risibly waffling on about ‘’Uniformed collection’’ and ‘’Instant payment’’, blah, blah, blah! I knew what was coming, having worked in the motor trade, and in sales, and knowing how these discount car buyers work! ‘’We have a firm offer of £14,000 for the car’’. I said, ''Do you want me to laugh or hang up?'' I told him he was the lowest of all valuations. Questioning how he could be so low, when I had an offer of £15,860 from Evans Halshaw, with five others of £15,000 plus, for an 18 month old, 3,000 mile, immaculate, 70 plate Fiesta ST Line Edition! He began to lie about data (his data) 'We buy thousands of cars & we have thousands of satisfied customers...'', to which I replied, ''Well, I feel sorry for them, as they do not know or understand the motor industry! You prey on them, offer the lowest amount & take advantage of their ignorance! And I told your colleague NOT to phone me with an offer, unless close to the advertised price!’’ I hung up.

This is a stark warning, so be careful anyone reading this; they pretend to be members of the public. They call on mobile phones. They use the common sales tactic, which is fake befriendment in call one, then continued friendship in call two, with the ‘’Very best price’’, and fake statistics to soothe the blow of low! It is hilarious that they think ''uniformed collection'' & ''instant payment'' are pitches worth repeating, as faster payment is common and all collection drivers wear some kind of branding! Maybe they think a uniform whilst keeping £2,000 of your money is soothing?!

My advice: don't sell to them! Use Auto Trader for your free, current market valuation. It is based on CAP, the industry guide. Use them to see how much main dealers are selling your equivalent for; they operate on a 10-15% margin, hence my car at £16,000 being correct, as they would sell for £17,800! NOT £14,000 as offered by Revilo! Motorway & Car Wow offer a no-fee valuation & sales platform, taking a fee if the car sells from the buyer and will often achieve high prices.

My Reply to Revilo:

Totally transparent in their replies, and as all can see they are on the attack, just as they have been with every negative review left! They claim my review should not be here, not conducting a transaction? Wrong! This platform is for reviews about all aspects of a company's business practices. It is clear that over 55% of Trust Pilot’s reviewers are unhappy. Revilo keep pushing Feefo and ‘their’ amazing reviews being 98%. Feefo is a paid for service serving companies. Rarely do they publish a negative review. Feefo, on Trust Pilot, has 84% negative reviews, and Revilo chooses which reviews it publishes on its site!

Next, they claim inaccuracy in my review, when my review is based on fact, personal experience, and accurate data. They use their own data and figures, NOT current market place figures. They claim to assess each car, the market etc. They assess profit only; fact!

And again, hilariously, they suggest me leaving this review is like a 1* review on Trip Advisor for a hotel I have not stayed in! Idiocy! Wrong! This review is based business practice, since 50% of their business is finding the cars, thus everyone should be able to comment on their behaviour!

In their attacking replies to me, I see they have done the same to every others. Bully tactics! They seem to think editing is worth attacking, editing is only to create space! Morons!

Everyone can see how this lot operate; attack replies! I hope Trading Standards come across them soon. I know the motor trade & telesales. My advice to all, this is the bad side of the motor industry. Go to the good, save yourselves £2,000/£4,000 maybe more!

Trading Standards ARE via Citizen's Advice! YOU LOVE uniforms! Feefo: 84% negative reviews as fakes! Thus, fake reviews are Revilo! Car sold: £15,800, £1,800 saved from these phonies! Bye!

Thank you for your in depth review of our service, albeit no transaction ever took place. When we value a vehicle, we take into consideration many factors, not just the current auction price that you are suggesting. With such a lengthy review you would think that your statements would be accurate but unfortunately this isn't the case here. This is akin to leaving a 1 star review on trip advisor having never stayed in the hotel or eaten in the restaurant!

For the people that we do transact with then we have a platform for them to leave their reviews and we have hundreds and hundreds of 4 and 5 star reviews applauding our service and indeed thanking us for offering them more than other car buying platforms. For the people that have an issue with a phone call from us offering to travel directly to their home or place of work with no fee's to purchase their vehicle, then unfortunately you would need to leave a review on here like a hand full of others.

This platform has handled just 1.9% of all our reviews so i'm sure the other 98% of reviews, which are over a 1000 from our in inception in 2016, give people a far better feel for our customer satisfaction! Not to mention the other countless 1000's of our clients that may not have the time or inclination to leave a review in the first instance.

You can find us in any search engine under Revilo Automotive Limited should you wish to take a look.

You can also view on our website our team of UNIFORMED DRIVERS with no polo shirts in sight! For you to comment on this function of our business gives the readers of this review, a very good handle on what is actually going on here, so I thank you for your comments as this proves very useful. We embrace all the feed back 😊

Wishing you well the sale of your Fiesta, it sounds like a very nice car indeed!

**And now you are editing your replies to try and state fact after fact after fact! We will go with just one fact..... "98% of our reviews are from happy customers that have had an excellent experience and recommend us to family and friends" This is a FACT and no matter what is written on here, everyone will go on to Feefo and read the reviews. Another FACT 👍🏼

We wish you well in the sale of your vehicle - yet another FACT!!

***And yet more editing to update your review. I'm not sure what you are most aggrieved about, our company offering to buy your vehicle or the fact that you don't really understand what you are writing? You were the one to point out we didn't have any drivers of our own, which we clearly do, all 10 are visible on our website, but now your saying "who cares"? Clearly you do!

Or is it because we are stating that people should go read the reviews on our website, which has a link to the independent review platform of Feefo - another point that you aren't understanding. They are independent so your slanderous comments are miss placed.

Or maybe it is the fact our driver have branded shirts, not polo tops? Either way, your frustrations and lack of understanding are plain to see, for everybody!! Wishing you well with the sale of your motor vehicle 😊

****Yet more editing of your replies. Thank you for removing the reference to the German 1930/40 regime. At least you can reflect upon your own words and realise they need to be removed from public forum. Why though, have you removed the comment around talking to the citizens advice bureau? That was brilliant! It made much better reading. Thank you for your comments and thank you for correcting yourself. We really do wish you well on the sale of your motor vehicle 😊

*****And another edit, who is Jack?? 4.9/5 great reviews on our independent review platform Feefo 😊

Avoid

Contacted by revilo today in regards to my vehicle for sale on auto trader, bearing in mind it is the cheapest one for sale that age and mileage, they eventually came back rather proud of themselves and grandly proceeded to offer me £3240 less than my asking price, confirming they thought this was a good offer. Well I beg to differ, they even had the bare faced cheek to assure me there would be no fees involved!! Are they serious, if I wanted to sell to the trade I have already been offered way more than they did,all I can say is if you deal with these guys it will cost you dearly,I look forward to your response, bearing in mind this is totally factually correct,if you disagree you are welcome to listen to a recording of the call if you wish.

Thank you for updating your review Gary, when you are quoting to be factually correct then it's important that the facts are indeed accurate. The facts are that we do, the majority of the time, achieve more for our clients and this is ratified by the hundreds of 4 and 5 star reviews on Feefo - our review platform. Wishing you well in the sale of your vehicle.

Hassle-free way to sell a car

Car advertised on Autotrader and had a call from Revilo. They asked a few basic questions and then said someone else would call to make an offer. After a couple of days I chased this and got a call back with an offer. Did some negotiation and we came to an agreement. Pickup took an hour to check over the car and get lots of pictures but had no problems. I was meticulous with my description of the car and therefore all was well. Payment arrived instantly. Very approachable, good communication and a great result.

Time wasters and chancers

Advertised on Autotrader, Ben (Revilo) rang immediately. I tell him the price I want and not to bother wasting my time with a lower offer. An hour later, his mate rings with an offer more than £3k lower. Complete time wasters and chancers. If REVILO rings you, I suggest you put the phone down pronto and enjoy the rest of the day

Thank you for your feed back Mr Almond.

At Revilo Automotive we aim to offer private sellers the best alternative to selling their motor vehicles if they are unable to achieve retail price from the buying public. We have a team of uniformed drivers who travel direct to your home or place of work making the transaction as seamless as possible. Upon arrival the whole process takes no longer than 30 minutes at which point you will received cleared funds in your designated account which are sent via our Coutts & Co bank account. We charge zero fee's for this service.

It is always difficult to read a review by someone who indeed hasn't transacted with us. Those reviews, the ones of our actual customers, can be viewed on our Feefo review site where we have hundreds upon hundreds of 4, but mainly 5 star reviews. We are sorry if us offering you a viable alternative to the sale of your motor vehicle caused you offence but the value of vehicles is based upon many aspect. Aspects such like condition, history, specification to name a but a few and we feel that the personal approach is far better suited to get to the bottom of the true condition, all from the comfort of your own home or place of work.

We buy thousands of vehicles each year and have managed to achieve a higher price to alternative methods of vehicle disposal for many of our customers. Sometimes however, we are presented with vehicles that don't meet our criteria and we don't end up transacting in those instances. This was one of those occasions.

We hope you managed to achieve your desired price, we wish you well.

Low balling pre signed agreement !

The initial call from Adam for my advertised car was ok however it felt very pushy to get me to go ahead which put me off. However after some convincing of what would seems a good service Adam passed me To Ben.. In the end we agreed to go ahead at 21k , I signed the contract agreement , shared personal data s & then called them to advise the reg plates were now on retention and car was ready to go. Then in the final minute after discussing collection next steps I get a unceremonious call back off Ben saying Revilo are retracting the offer I signed for and will now offer 19.5k. Wow !

How is low balling the “signed amount of 21k & after me doing all ground work good for the brand???? What a completely shocking approach, I was fuming as this has been going on for 2 weeks prior. Ben had every opportunity to retract the offer much sooner and the reasons for it were questionable.
Obviously I put the car straight back on auto trader , and guess who called me within an hour !!! Revilo !!!! Seriously !?

In the end I sold my car to a reputable dealer via autotrader for £21k with no hassles which also backed up Ben’s excuses to drop the price to £19.5k was nothing less than nonsense.
I am sure this process works for many sellers but based on my experience, never again !!

Thank you for your feed back Mr Ford.

We agreed to purchase your vehicle on January 6th 2021, at the time of signing the terms and conditions you were aware that our offer was valid for 48 hours. This is because we travel to our customers at our own expenses, using a team of uniformed drivers who arrive at your home or place of work. We aim to make the transaction as smooth as possible and take up as little time from your day, this is obviously far more costly to ourselves so the valuations are valid for that point in time, up to 48 hours thereafter.

However, after signing the agreement with ourselves you introduced the fact that you were still on the look out for a new vehicle and this would cause a delay for us to collect the car from yourself. We advised you that it wasn't ideal but in the interest of great customer service we would look at the market place daily and keep you informed along the way if it was looking like we were unable to extend our offer to you.

This is exactly what happened and we have the data available for us to look at. After the initial purchase we further contacted you 23 time from a period of 06/01/2021 until 04/02/2021. We spent a total of 1 hour 55 minutes over this period trying to arrange collection of a vehicle 1 month on from agreeing the purchase.

In the end, in our opinion, the vehicle had dropped in value and your introduction of a further delay of a registration plate change over, no longer made it viable for us to purchase the vehicle at the original price offered at the beginning of the year.

It's great that you got the price you wanted for the vehicle and have incurred no cost unlike ourselves. We are however very happy with our abilities to keep in contact with our customer, keeping them informed of the market place and our desire to fulfil our transaction even though it was drastically out of our terms of business.

We were not at fault Mr Ford and wish you well.

VULTURES TRYING TO PREY ON THE WEAK!!!!

Right, where should I start? I placed my van on Autotrader, and within 24 hours, I had a call regarding buying it. Now the bloke who was calling, didn't make himself known as a business, (they even use mobile phones to hide the fact), was pretending to be an average buyer, asking the usual questions. Due to selling a few vehicles in the past, I'm used to these calls, so listen out for background noise. I could hear an "office" environment, so was suspicious. So after pretending to be your average buyer for some time, he dropped in at the end, he was part of a company that buys vehicles for the trade, and was very interested in my van, and "the price looks good". So he would go away and check the market values and get back to me. So he had my back up right off the bat, by not being upfront about who he was and what his intentions were.
So my vehicle retails at between £6000 + VAT up to over £7000 + VAT. My van has had new CAT1 alarm, thatcham approved deadlocks and aluminium roof bars, all brand new and costing over £700. I got a trade in price and WBAC price, both £5500. So I put my car on Autotrader at £6195, looking to get close to £6000. The VAT has been paid.
Anyway, after the weekend, got a call back from these people, he did give his name on both occasions, but due to my lack of interest, I didn't bother remembering it.
So the price they offer is £4600. The funniest thing was, he was saying it, like it was fantastic and doing me a favour. He told me WBAC's price was £5100 (this is the extent of their stupidity!! If I can go and offload it at WBAC for £5100, why would I sell to you for £500 less???), so theres £100 in it for him and £400 in it for the trader they sell to.
So all I'm going to say regarding this, they try to deceive you, right from the get go, by not being upfront about who they are. Then they clearly lie about the WBAC price, even though they didn't have my reg, but I suppose you can get a quote without it. Bear face lying about only making £100 for themselves.
WeBuyAnyCar are well known for offering low prices for your vehicle, but at least it's a place you can go, if you want rid quickly. These guys actually seek you out, when 24 hours after you pay for 6 weeks advertising on Autotrader. Not only that, they come back with a price £900 lower than WBAC and the 3 places I got a trade in price.
This company can only be described as vultures.
Yes you're going to read this, yes you're going to know who I am, yes you're going to leave a reply, trying to relinquish your shady business practices.
So people, if you get a call off these guys, when they do eventually inform you, whom they are, just hang up.

I am sorry that we unable to buy you Van Simon. We buy well in excess of 2,000 vehicles every year and have fantastic feedback from customers who we actually do Business with. Clearly we weren't able to do Business with yourself and as such your feedback is based on the fact that we were unable to give you the price you wanted for your Vehicle rather than a poor service. I have looked into this transaction and it would seem that the Van was advertised as a two owner vehicle when in fact it was a four owner vehicle and as we buy the best this would affect the price we would offer. We will not be able to Buy every vehicle from every conversation but often are able to offer the highest price for the very best but unfortunately given the number of owners etc your Van didn't fall into this category. Our Buyer took at the most 10 minutes of your time which would be far less than any individual turning up at your house would have done, left you a Commercial offer which you clearly have no obligation or pressure to accept. Many customers appreciate the convenience that we can offer together with a safe transaction of payment without you needing to leave your home together with unlike most buying companies no fees but as we were unable to match the price which in our opinion was excessive you were not able to experience how easy and professional this is. In closing we will not any cannot buy every car or van but regularly do buy the best and in turn deliver a first class service to those customers who do actually do Business with us ! We wish you well in selling your vehicle if you haven't already done so. Richard Haytack, Head of Business.

AVOID!

AVOID!

Same as previous reviews I've read!!

Advertise my car on Auto trader, Tom Quinn (Revilo) phones to say he's interested in buying the car. I tell him the lowest I can go and also tell him the reason being is because I have finance to pay off. Tom then comes back a day or so later with an offer of over £3000 less than the figure I told him was my lowest due to the finance. Complete time wasters and chancers.

They try to make you think that the service they offer with sending someone down (to kick the wheels) and a same day bank transfer with Coutts is worth you knocking over £2000 off a car! Most highstreet banks do same day bank transfers for free if its under £25000.

Hi Ryan, thank you for your review and I am sorry that we were unable to agree a price for your car.

We buy thousands of cars a year from customers like you but unfortunately and inevitably we will not be able to agree a price on every car on every occasion.

We research the market as a live market so Tom would not be aware of the price he could offer you without first having a conversation with you to obtain more details.

As far as customer service is concerned our feedback is exceptional with the customers we actually do agree terms with and there are thousands of these. Had you agreed terms with us I am sure you would have been delighted with the level of service.

There is no obligation to take our offer and there is no inconvenience to you other than a short conversation with Tom. When selling your car privately unfortunately there will be on occasion many people who test drive your car and spend waste a lot of your time, we do not fall into this category.

In our opinion after looking at the live market place your car was advertised at a price that was too high and as such we were unable to purchase it but we sincerely wish you well with the sale. Richard Haytack, Head of Business .

Dear Levi,

We are a little confused as to why you wish to leave a one-star review simply because you did not like the offer we made on your vehicle. Normally, reviews relate to a business transaction not simply an offer, which you are at course at liberty to decline as you did.

All offers are based current marketplace, we buy thousands of vehicles, our offers are firm with no re-negotiation based on an accurate description. We charge no fees and collect from the comfort of your home or workplace, again at no extra cost.

The valuation was offered against current market price for a none vatable, base specification Connect Van.

Values are offered with good faith and take into account the visible damage as per your pictures, which included various dents to rear, offside door, the need for a replacement rear bumper, and the rear wing, which required a smart repair.

We wish you well with the sale of your vehicle.

Kind regards

Dear Mr George,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It would help however if you reported the facts accurately.

Your car was advertised on Autotrader stating and I quote, ‘Manufacturer Audi Warranty and Service History’. The car had in fact had one service that was carried out by a specialist and not an Audi Dealer.

Your Autotrader Ad, which I have in front of me, states the mileage to be 19,000miles. Having travelled to you in good faith and at our own expense. We then find the car had covered 20,322 miles. I know this as our drivers are required to send pictures of the car back to us, one of which must be the odometer; so again, I have this picture in front of me. That is a difference of 1,322 miles and not the 200 you wish to claim.

More importantly, the additional mileage reduced the guide price of the car by £850.00 – so having travelled to you, we find the mileage is significantly different to what was claimed, and the manufacturer service history was non-existent.

Your £80 DVLA number transfer will of course be required in any event if you are to sell your car. Our travel costs and the wages for our driver, however, are not recoverable.

We have neither the time or inclination to waste your time and our money but if you fail to describe your vehicle accurately, then we reserve the right not to purchase the car, as I am sure you would if the roles were reversed.

We wish you well with the sale of your car.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr Young,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Your review is as fair as it is unfair.

Your car was advertised with a full service-history. You confirmed it had a full service-history during our negotiations. We know this, as our calls are recorded, and we wouldn’t offer to buy a car that did not have a full service-history as that is company policy; this is particularly important on an AMG C43.

Nevertheless, we are to blame for not spotting during our due diligence on the information you sent us, that the car had missed a service. Entirely our fault but is it unreasonable for us to rely on the details in your ad and your verbal assurances whilst negotiating to buy your car? We travelled in good faith, at our own expense, from Manchester to Aberdeen. We wouldn’t do that in the hope of buying the car for less than we had already agreed.

Sadly, this does occur on a small number of the cars we offer to buy. Some clients make an honest mistake, some set out to deliberately mislead. Whatever the circumstances, we remain professional and were we choose to walk away, we do so without making fuss but reluctantly, as it is a complete waste of time and money. In this instance we have the cost of a very long day for our driver and travel expenses both ways then as we have no car for the return journey.

We state that we never travel and then renegotiate on the price agreed. Our only stipulation is that the car is as described; I would suggest that isn’t too much to ask. In this instance, this was clearly not the case. So, we didn’t offer 10% less for the car for the fun of it, we simply can’t offer the very best price for a car when that car turns out not to be as described. It really is as simple as that.

We wish you well with the car and thank you for the balanced review.

Yours sincerely,

Converted cynic!

I was cynical when I first received a call from Revilo. After several discussions a price was agreed which I was happy with. This price was significantly above what ‘We buy any car’ had quoted and I suspected they might alter this when the car was picked up despite my honest assessment. However they did not and the full agreed price was transferred into my account and the car taken away. All in all an easy process and all at Revilo I spoke to, and met, were polite and no pressure at any time was applied.

Very unprofessional

Very unprofessional, completely wasting my time in contracting me and stating they may have someone to take my car an Audi RS5. So had my car advert taking down and then they sent me an email stating they are No longer taking in cars like this as they just had one come into stock, As I used to work in the trade this was clearly a LIE, at least make up a better story next time. They will answer your call when they want your business then after that they go hiding, and will only email you after a few days if your lucky. Advice and service from Craig Kilmartin was very poor and unprofessional. DONT WASTE your time with these unprofessionals, looks like most of the reviews are properly fakes and your better of selling your car yourself instead of these guys trying to earn from you. DO YOUR reeasech im not the only one who’s been messed around by these guys. COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME. DONT USE .....WARNING. I will find a few more sites to post this review, next think before you mess people around. What goes around comes around Revilo - learn that.

Dear Mr Mongeland....

We are sorry you were not happy with your recent dealings with us. We welcome client feedback as it is very important to us, but we can only benefit from such feedback if we stick to the facts.

The facts are…

All our calls are recorded.

6th September – We call you about your car, but we couldn’t agree a price with you, so left it for you to consider.

11th September – You text asking if we will pay an additional £500.00 for the car. We call and confirm we would, we highlight the fact that some five days has passed, and the market and prices move daily, so it is important we conclude the matter quickly now. You tell us you are “90% there”, again we leave the matter with you.

12th September – You call us and inform us that there is an issue with your V5 and that you are unable to remove your personalised plate online. We again highlight prices are dropping and we need to know if you are going to sell the car to us and if so, we will need to be able to arrange collection with you asap. You still won’t commit to sell your car to us, which is fine as that is your prerogative; note we are unable to sell a car without the V5.

The market in vehicles is like any other commodity and is continually moving, especially as more stock enters the market with dealers due to the September plate change.

12th September – You then email us asking for an additional £150.00, we decline.

14th September – you finally email to say you would like to accept our offer, at which time we have to respectfully inform you that the price has moved. We give the very best price for most cars, but we have to move quickly to achieve that.

21st OCTOBER, FIVE WEEKS LATER – You leave a one-star review, along with threats to leave negative feedback on other sites; again, your prerogative but that says more about you than it does about us I would suggest.

Other interesting FACTS…

We don’t have ‘someone’ to take your car or anyone else’s car for that matter, we buy outright every car we agree an offer on. When that offer has been accepted by the seller, we then issue a purchase order for the client to sign. We then travel at our expense to the client’s home or office and we pay by immediate faster payment from Coutts Bank.

We would not have asked you to remove your ad from Autotrader until we had agreed to purchase your car, at which point we would have sent you an official purchase order for you to sign, we never got to this point, you didn’t want to agree to our offer until your email to us some 8 days later. We would however have explained the process to you, so you know what to expect as we do with every client. So, if you did cancel your ad, it wasn’t at our request as we never got to the point of sending you a purchase order.

Craig Kilmartin is one of the nicest and most professional people you will ever meet. He is respectful, polite and organised, as are all our people here or we wouldn’t employ them.

We don’t have the time, inclination or need to create fake reviews. People leave reviews on many sites (including occasionally, fake reviews which are not difficult for us to spot). We don’t seek to influence or delete these, we prefer to reply giving the facts and people can then form their own conclusions; our client feedback speaks for itself.

Feefo: 98% 5-star

Revilo Automotive was formed in May 2016. Since that time, we have bought several thousand cars from all over the UK, from VW to Ferrari’s and delighted thousands of clients with both the price we gave for their car, our service and our moral standards.

Very few new start-up companies are offered the opportunity to bank with Coutts Bank, something we are very proud of. Other parts of the Group are also Directly regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority FRN: 792586.

I trust this will allow people to make their own judgement and we wish you well with your vehicle.

Yours sincerely,

Revilo Automotive review

These guys are sellers to the motor industry therefore there are always two margins to service so you can never get a fair market price for your vehicle. The feefo reviews cannot be realistic hence them referred to by Revilo. I was offered £12k for a car realistically priced at £14k so they must rely on desperate sellers in hopes of getting a great deal (for them). I would not touch with your barge pole as they are time wasters

Thanks for the review but please lets stick with the facts; we cant comment on your particular review as GoRyd is not sufficient for us to find your enquiry, if indeed it is genuine.

We Buy Any Car (WBAC) - the UK's biggest car buying service, buy cars which they then put through auction. WBAC are owned by British Car Auctions. You put your vehicle details into the website and then get an instant valuation. Its computerised and based on Auction Data. Nothing wrong with that, but it will largely result in the outcome you have outlined in this review. It is a useful service if you want to turn your car into cash quickly with little or no hassle.

If you take the time to do the same on our website, we take the time to call you. You speak to a real person and that person will do their upmost to get you the best price possible. We do that by understanding the value that additional specification, excellent condition, service history and rarity adds to the value of a car. In 2017, on like for like purchases, we returned to our clients over £1.2million more than WBAC offered. Our Brand Specialists know what your car is worth and which single dealer in the UK will pay the most for it, resulting in you getting the best possible price. We don't send anything to Auction.

In addition to that, we travel to you to collect the car at a time that suits you and at our expense nationwide, we bank with Coutts and do immediate faster payments and whilst we do have to make a profit to stay in business. Our reviews speak for themselves and we dont have the time or the inclination to make up fake ones.

We don't buy every car....but we do buy the best

We hope that helps.
