Sadly, its not genuine. The only way we would call back and renege on ANY purchase is if we have been mislead or lied to. So at the point of agreeing to purchase a car, we have limited information. Once a purchase is agreed, we then carry out formal, Finance, Insurance, Accident checks - sadly all too often, we then find the car being offered has been a write off, involved in a significant accident or does not have clear title; why people do not choose to disclose these facts we will leave to your imagination.
All our calls are recorded...The ONLY time this would EVER occur is if we have been mislead.
