Working at Rex as an AI Trainer has honestly been one of the best experiences I've had. What stands out the most is how much the company actually cares about its people, and you can feel it in how things are run day to day. Just humans getting on with the work and supporting each other. 🧡

I've worked in the industry for over 20 years. I've dealt with the good, the bad, and the ugly! Recently, I've also tried to work at other companies that also offer AI training contract positions. The experience that I got in the other companies vs Abaka (RemoExperts) is like night and day. While other companies make you do the AI interviews and long tests, Abaka doesn't require that, which I really appreciate. The test is a simple test based on the client's guidelines, which I found to be straightforward. I have been working at Abaka for about 6 months. Unlike other companies, they offer a supportive environment that is much friendlier than other companies. We have people from all around the working together, helping each other, and getting to form friendships.

The other fantastic thing that I really like is that meetings are actually PAID. Yes, you heard me!! Other companies don't pay if you attend the meetings. Abaka pays for attending the meetings! We have weekly meetings to ask questions and work through some of the edge cases.

The onboarding time is also all paid, and that's when you get to read the extensive guidelines, which is also paid. Other companies may not pay for reading the guidelines.

Work is provided by their fantastic client who is a well known company that is doing amazing things. As a team we are very proud to take part of training their models.

The work comes from the client who decides when to release data. There will be times where there is a lot of work vs other times where there is little work or no work. This is not controlled by Abaka at all.

The pay is very good in comparison to what other companies pay. They don't cheat you here! You track your hours and you get paid monthly. Personally, I got paid on time every month.

I’ve been working with RemoExperts for the past six months, and one thing I can confidently say is that the people here are among the most friendly and supportive coworkers you could ask for. Beyond that, the management is highly supportive of trainers, creating an environment where you can genuinely grow and build a strong career with the company.

While I was an applicant there (a couple of months back), the communication was a bit lacking, which is the complete opposite of when you actually get in! The leaders, reviewers, and other workers are highly communicative and genuinely nice people. I love working for this company; don’t let the applicants’ reviews throw you off.

This is the best AI company you can work for. If you get in, you are set to have the best time in your life.

Payments are made on time. Most humane treatment than any AI company you will ever work for.
You can't be offboarded easily unless your work is shady and you don't communicate.

They pay fairly even for trainers from Low and Middle income countries.

Just pray you get in.

Working here as an AI Generalist Trainer for more than 5 months now and have been really invested as well as happy with the team and management.

I joined the company around Feb 2026. It's been 4 months now, and I feel like I'm not working amongst collegues, but friends and family. The personnel are highly respectable, kind and understanding. Communication is smooth. Equal opportunity for everyone.
They're not hard and fast on the rules about meeting the hours, completing certain level of tasks to remain relevant. It all boils down to your quality rather than quantity.
Even if you make mistakes, they provide full support to make you efficient and rise above all the difficulties. It's far better a workplace than the places I have ever worked with.

I’ve been working here for over six months, and I can honestly say it’s one of the friendliest companies I’ve experienced in the AI training industry.
We work with some of the biggest clients in the field, which makes the environment exciting and dynamic.

The company is definitely legitimate, so if you have any doubts, feel free to check LinkedIn posts from employees, and you’ll see that the vast majority of feedback is positive.

This is almost certainly a scam. The test is incredibly basic, half of the questions are just repeats. The final question doesn't load and then it tells you that you failed. At which point they already have your CV and your degree certificate. Information harvesting or identity theft. I believe that a LinkedIn profile has been hacked and is being used to directly message people to invite them to apply. I would imagine that the other reviews on here are being added by the scammers to try and improve the trust rating. It claims to be linked to abaka.ai. I don't know anything about abaka.ai of if they are real but they make no mention of the rex.zone platform on their LinkedIn or on their official website.

This job enables me to work from home while simultaneously creating a warm cyber-community. I also get to see the impact of my work, which is extremely satisfying.

It's a great place to work because they evaluate their staff as humans and not just mere statistics on a sheet. It is also a place where you learn and develop with experts all across the globe ready to lend a helping hand with your tasks. You definitely need to pay a lot of attention to detail because high quality work is paramount, but with the high level of teamwork present, it makes every hour you spend worth it.

I have been working here since December 2025 and could not have asked for a better experience. They treat team members as valued people. No AI interviews, and tons of support and team engagement. The work is interesting, hours are flexible, pay is excellent, and team is amazing. Could not recommend more highly.

I’ve worked on several remote platforms, and I’ve never experienced anything close to the community and support I’ve found here. The team is made up of smart, thoughtful, kind people from all over the world, and it still amazes me how supportive everyone is.

This is the best company I have ever worked for. They are a humans-first company (unlike several others that you feel disposable). They provide great transparency with professionalism, reliability, and a touch of fun. I am very grateful for Rex and all my co-workers.

Tried creating an account here. First, I found it unnecessary to upload the pictures of my degrees. But okay, I still did. Yet, the worst part was the 25-question test, where the first 24 questions were designed for primary-level school kids, and the 25th question, likely something related to the actual annotation work, never loaded, even on a desktop. Since we weren't supposed to leave the test's browser tab, I kept waiting for 50 minutes merely for the 25th question to load, which never happened. I then contacted them at "recruitment (at) rex.zone" explaining everything, but never heard back. It's funny to find these people asking the reviewers here to reach out to this email address because these guys never respond. Highly disappointing experience.

Amazing work environment and everyone is committed to provide quality work. Blessed to work with so many talented colleagues around the world. Truly the best AI training lab I have ever worked for in my five years of career in this field.
