I wanted to purchase a turntable, amplifier and speakers for my daughter’s birthday. The staff were extremely professional and knowledgeable. It was great to get advice from experienced users about the products and which would be most suited for a first entry level combination. The items purchased were very competitively priced and delivery was also quick. The system is now set up at my daughter’s home and she is absolutely delighted with the products and the amazing sound quality. I would like to thank everyone at the Glasgow store, particularly David whose advice was greatly appreciated when choosing the right combination. Also a mention to Jordan for his assistance when collecting the equipment at the store. Ps nearly forgot another thank you for the umbrella offered which did come in very handy during the downpour as we were leaving the store. I would highly recommend Richer Sounds to anyone considering purchasing this type of equipment as the service is exceptional. Kind regards John

After a couple of visits I decided on a new Technics SL1200 gr2 turntable.
Incredibly this was delivered and installed in under 24 hours, I’m absolutely delighted.

Bought a denon av receiver but really wasn't for me going from a two channel setup to a surround setup was a mistake for me,not that there was a problem with it,it was just not the sound i was after, was worried I was stuck with it, caller richer sound and was told to bring it back, no questions asked just as long as it was in the condition it went out , swapped it out for a wiim amp ultra, back to a two channel setup and im loving it, my last amplifier also was from here and my next one will be aswell, they don't just rush you to part with your money and get a sale, I spoke to 3 different guys in the sales team and everyone of them were so king and professional, I honestly would tell anyone looking for any audio products to go here,top class sales team,and thanks for making a hard customer happy.

Great service. Found exactly what I wanted. I wanted to test out a few headphones that I had heard great things about in reviews, but on testing them found none of them were to my taste. The staff were extremely patient while I tried the headphones on and also made suggestions based on my requirements. Finally David suggested a pair that was exactly what I was looking for and for much cheaper than expected. I had to book for delivery because they didn't have a box piece available at the store. Delivery was expected on Weds but came early on Monday. Extremely happy with the service.

David in your Glasgow store was extremely helpful to me when choosing a system and speakers he tried several speaker combinations until we got what we were happy with wish all salespeople were were as helpful and knowlegable about the products they sell.

We received a call and a resolution, we had to put some money to a replacement set (same as the B&W, ones my son has been wearing). The CS outwith the store has been fair and decent all be it lengthy. Thank you for this resolution.
Bought a set of focal bathys back in 2024. Within 9 months they were in a very sorry state. It’s an issue with this model.
After a lot of 2 and fro with the maker, we were told the 3 year warranty was not valid. focal had told us to take the head set to where we bought them.
The service in store was conflicting and inconsistent, delayed and extremely poor, we accepted their explanation that focal were difficult to deal with, as we had also found them frustrating. The warranty claim was rejected, the headphones were never sent out of the richer sounds shop.
They requested we come pick up our head sets and manager told us to contact the head office as if they replaced them it would be out of pocket. That was several months ago.
We did as advised,We have been chasing this issue for over 8 months(between focal and richer sounds) Yesterday we got an email asking us to choose a replacement headset. If we saw anything else we would prefer they would see what they could do.
We took it as the 3 we were offered were free replacements, as that is how the email reads, asked our son (on the spectrum and with hearing issues, hence the expensive headsets) to choose. We sent back our choice. This morning I get a call and then an email.
The shop said no to the replacement and we were offered a £70 discount on the replacements. The head office offered us a further discount totalling £150.
I find this unacceptable because the email led us to believe these were replacements for a pair of headphones that were not fit for purpose now we are being expected to pay almost the same amount of money for the replacements.
Save yourself any anxiety and buy from John Lewis where the warranty and guarantees actually provide a replacement, not an additional cost!
