Great advice from the team. Quick delivery and effortless communication around delivery.
I ordered a TV that was too large and I was able to replace with a smaller unit without question. Richer Sounds have the customer experience really sorted out.

UPDATE:

Milton Keynes store phoned me the next to to tell me I could collect between 5 and 8pm.
When I collected the item, the sales assistant was very helpful and even carried it to my car.

Ordered a HI-FI stand on a click and collect at Milton Keynes store. My item was delivered today so I thought as I was a VIP member I could collect it this evening. Phoned the store and was told the opening hour are 12- 5pm. What about VIP members I asked? I was told in order to use VIP Membership I would need to give 3 DAYS NOTICE. Not very VIP. I can’t collect till the weekend now. I will shop elsewhere next time

Were polite, friendly efficient and kept me informed, both norwich and milton keynes.

First the good. The actual person to person service in the Milton Keynes store was first class. I wanted to buy 2 items, 1 was in stock the other wasn't in MK but could be delivered to me from the central warehouse the next day, a Saturday. Again, excellent service from the MK store to offer a brand new customer like me a Saturday delivery option. But that's when things went downhill rapidly....

The bad. Unfortunately the dreadful DPD are the couriers for the MK store.
I was sent an email telling me Richer Sounds had shipped my product and it would be delivered as advised sometime on Saturday, all good so far.
No actual delivery time was stated but if i wasn't going to be in i could change my delivery address to a DPD delivery locker located nearby for convenience. There is one right by me so i was able to change the address to that locker and not have to wait in all day for the DPD driver.

Saturday came and went, nothing from DPD! On Sunday evening i received an email advising me that my parcel was "unsuitable" to be delivered to their advised delivery locker, no reason given as to why! It has nothing to do with the size of the package as i physically went and looked at the locker sizes.
Why was i given the option by DPD themselves to leave it at a delivery locker and then the following evening told it was "unsuitable" to be delivered there???

DPD then advised me my parcel would be delivered to my home address the following day, a Monday evening.
I work late so that wasn't an option.
I was given the option to change the delivery address to a neighbour, which i did and my item was finally delivered on the Monday evening when i should of had it on the Saturday!!
This is typical DPD, a dreadful company to deal with and dreadful communication.

My advice to anyone looking to buy from Richer Sounds MK is that if they have the product in stock you will receive great customer service at a very good price.
If they don't have your item in stock then walk away and try Curry's, Argos or John Lewis instead.
I don't want anyone to have to go through the fiasco of dealing with the dreadful DPD like what i had to and I'm a first time customer.

Would i recommend Richer Sounds MK? Yes, excellent instore customer service, but only if the products you want are actually there in stock to take away.
If not, just walk away.

Takes time to explain in simple terms, brilliant service, staff at Milton Keynes are the best.
Easy to understand technical terms.
Not rushed into making a decision.
Genuine people who really want to help.
Goes the extra mile.

Richard at Milton Keynes was fantastic. He spent lots of time explaining how to set up my new Cinema 50

Great company and very helpful staff. Underrated i feel against the bigger stores but actually the staff are very knowledgeable and very often the deals and prices beat the bigger stores. Have used a few times now and will continue to from now on.
They have also been very understanding to some small issues i had one 1 product i bought from them which felt more like a personal service

There's so much to like about Richer Sounds, I've been a long time customer at the Milton Keynes branch, and the staff are always so helpful. I decided to buy a new CD player after mine finally bit the bullet after 30+ years of good service. This time around I did some research and opted for the Which? Magazine's best seller, a Marantz CD6007. I could have placed my order online, but I like visiting the shop, so after phoning them to reserve my new player I waited for my call to say it was in stock. I spoke to Gilbert originally, he's such a laugh, and I've struck quite a good rapport with him, something very few shop staff do these days, hence why I like RS so much. Nothing is ever too much trouble for these guys, and they will even pay for your parking when you visit the shop, now that's what I call a First Class Service! Thanks guys ;)

The staff at Richer Sounds are always polite, friendly and very knowledgable. If I am in the market for anything in audio visual, I always go to them. I have used at least 4 branches over the years and find them easy to deal with and buy from. Excellent service always.

My husband and I were helped to purchase the correct television to meet our needs. Gilbert was knowledgeable, patient and reassuring because of our specific requirements. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They also price matched.

I recently bought a Sonos Ultra Arc, Sub and rears from Richer Sounds and dealt with Adam and Aidan, both were absolutely superb, extremely helpful, great communication and delivery. I would highly recommend Richer Sounds, particularly the guys I had the pleasure of dealing with at Milton Keynes!

had an excellent fist experience. had no idea what i needed tv wise. telephoned in spoke to an advisor explained what I did and didn’t want to the guy was extremely knowledgable and patient and I was able to make the purchase over the phone. Tv arrived and was exactly what i wanted. will certainly be using these guys again and recommending them

Great Service at my local Richer Sounds, bought an open box at a discount, and added a 6 year guarantee and went home.

Plugged is and it work ok, now I am learning how to use it.

Adam is the standout performer in my view. He is always helpful and polite, and he provides the best customer service you could wish for. I've always been a supporter of Richer Sounds, but even more so because of people like Adam, who are an asset to this organisation.
