I work with Ash regularly
I work with Ash regularly, and have always found him to be efficient and works quickly. He is knowledgable, approachable, and has never missed a deadline!
We started the sale in June and…
We started the sale in June and completed in November. The low fee should have been a warning — in my experience it reflected the level of service provided.
The transaction took around 5–6 months despite there being no complications or legal issues that would normally delay a sale. Throughout the process I had to repeatedly chase updates myself. On several occasions I only discovered from the buyer that enquiries had been raised weeks earlier, and responses from my solicitors often followed roughly a month later — even for very basic matters (for example clarification about a wheelie bin not being included in the sale).
Communication felt extremely poor and reactive rather than proactive. I was frequently given conflicting information about progress, which significantly reduced confidence that the case was under control.
Overall this was by far the most frustrating experience I have had with solicitors. I struggle to reconcile my experience with some of the positive reviews, although the more detailed critical reviews closely match what I encountered. I would not choose to use this firm again.
Avoid this company at all costs!!!
Avoid this company at all costs!!!
On rare occasions, I was able to speak to someone that was actually helpful but more often that not, staff were rude and ignorant. Staff shouted at me and my family over the phone several times. They did not respond to phone calls, voicemails and emails very often. When they did, they were very slow. No matter how many times a day I rang or at what time, they did not answer a lot of the time. The phone would just go off without an answer machine message as if someone hung up. This was after ignoring my calls and/or being rude. It looked like they seen my number and decided not to answer. When they did reply to emails, they would often be just one sentence answers which did not answer all of my questions.
They refused to do certain forms when asked for only to eventually do them after weeks of saying they would not. When I would ask who I was speaking to, they would not always tell me their name or put a name to an email.
They delayed selling my late mother and father's house by months.
I was put onto this company by Millennium Legal. I had to speak to them who then spoke to Right Legal to get me answers several times. My probate solicitor actually told me she heard Millennium Legal shouting at Right Legal over a phone call telling them "to do what you are being paid to do". They seemed to forget it was my family paying them for a service.
Almost every single document they sent out for my family to sign was missing parts. Even when they did send everything out and we signed it, they would then not send it all to the buyers solicitors.
They once told me that they would no longer work with me and my family. When I asked for that in writing, they would not give me it.
They eventually "helped" sell my parent's house but only after months and months of dragging their feet at every opportunity.
Just look at other reviews to see how other people had similar issues as me and my family.
Save yourselves a lot of time and stress and look for a better company.
If I could give zero stars, I would!!!
My experience was so horrendous it made…
My experience was so horrendous it made me ill! In the end I was forced to de-instruct Right Legal and start again from scratch with a more reliable solicitor whose phone wasn't engaged for days at a time and who didn't shout at me. Ultimately I took the firm to the Ombudsman and Right Legal agreed to pay me a modest amount of compensation. Do yourself a favour and find another solicitor.
My experience with Right Legal…
My experience with Right Legal Solicitors has been overwhelmingly negative. In my opinion, the service felt careless, disorganised and far below what I would expect from a professional firm. I repeatedly had to chase for updates, deadlines drifted without explanation, and the communication I did receive was often unhelpful or incomplete.
Documents provided to me contained multiple mistakes, which gave me little confidence that my case was being handled with the attention it required. At no point did I feel that my matter was being prioritised or managed competently.
Based on my personal experience, I consider their service extremely poor and would strongly advise others to avoid this firm at all costs.
HUGE RED FLAG
HUGE RED FLAG! This was a cash auction purchase and we were under a strict timeline to exchange. Every time I tried to get hold of Ash, nobody would pick up the phone. This is a one-man company. When I did manage to get hold of him, he was extremely patronising and always tried to mansplain his way out of things. We are now 9 months down the road and the property is still not in our name. We can’t get a mortgage and have lost a lot of money. We are about to launch a legal complaint against Right Legal Solicitors.
Definitely the best choice of solicitors to use
Ash was absolutely incredible. There was a mix-up with completion dates for an auction property that i exchanged on and it would have meant loosing out on the deposit and property. His professionalism, knowledge and charm ensured that we were able to push back the completion date by a few days in order to secure the property. I have used Ash and his team previously and will continue to do so
If you value your sanity - avoid!
Used this firm 3 years ago for a house sale. A total travesty from start to finish. Took them to the ombudsman who recently found in my favour and awarded costs. I’d advise anyone else who is unhappy to do likewise!
Just completed on an auction property…
Just completed on an auction property which was a nightmare but was great all the way through. Good communication and advice given. Would use again.
Not Recommended
Appointed to deal with an auction sale. Did precisely nothing for 3 weeks, despite being chased 3 times by the sellers solicitor. Were it not for the forebearance of sellers I would have lost the sale and the fee I paid to the auction house. I would strong not recommend using this firm. Consistently failed to answer direct question to the poinfg where i even wandered if i was dealing with a person. I would not wish this service on anyone.
Thank you ash
Having used rightlegalsolicitors to purchase a house through an auction site I can't praise them enough, I was given 28 days to complete by the auction house, Ash promised me he could do it in time and he had it all completed within the 28 days, hassle free, I will only ever use Ash in the future for all my property purchases and recommend him to anyone. .
Property purchase
Ash managed the property purchase. Beware of these solicitor. Very unprofessional, chaotic, not trustworthy.

Ash and his colleague completed my auction purchase very swiftly as promised. Had no issues with them. Would use again.
DO NOT USE THEM
I had previously trusted trust pilot reviews. But having read the reviews for Right Legal I am in doubt to large majority of them being fake.
I can only ditto what ever other negative reviewer has said. The company are HORRIFIC. Do not use them under any circumstances. Using them will lead to large amounts of pain and regret. Having just switched to another solicitor we are left unclear as to whether they are intentional con artists or just utterly lazy/inept/unqualified. Who knows. Just dont go there.
House sale
Ash kept me upto date along the process of my house sale and completed the sale in a timely manner. Will defo use again. Thanks
He whent to battle for us
He whent to battle for us and got us over the line in a very short time job done
Ash is an absolute legend
Ash is an absolute legend, he had 12 days to complete us buying a house and he worked as hard as he possibly could to make it happen, and he did. I couldn't thank him enough and highly recommend him to anyone.
*1/5 stars - Disappointing Experience with Right of Legal Solicitors*
I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Right of Legal Solicitors, specifically with Solicitors Ash and Hina. Despite their initial promises, the handling of my case was subpar, and communication was poor.
The fees were excessive, and I felt overcharged for the work done. Ash and Hina failed to keep me informed about the progress of my case, and their responses to my queries were often delayed or unhelpful.
The final outcome was not what I had expected, and I believe better representation could have made a significant difference. I would caution others to carefully consider their choice of solicitor and thoroughly research alternatives before committing to Right of Legal Solicitors.
*Issues:*
- Poor communication
- Excessive fees
- Subpar case handling
- Lack of transparency
*Advice:*
- Seek alternative legal representation
- Carefully review fees and services
- Expect better communication and updates
I would 100% recommend this firm
I would 100% recommend this firm. Fantastic team and Ash has been incredible start to finish with the conveyancing process, he has kept me updated all the way and got everything processed in a timely and efficient manner. He responded quickly to any queries we had via phone and email and has been very professional and understanding throughout the whole process cannot recommend this firm and Ash enough. Ash and the team have always gone above and beyond for me and have delivered as promised. I will definitely be recommending this firm going forward to everyone I know.
Ash failed in all regards - keep clear!
Ash failed in all regards, to list all the unprofessional failings by Right legal would turn this into a book! He appears to have lied over emails regarding receiving contracts to both myself and the estate agents. He never returned calls from his giff-gaff phone. All parties involved complained again and again over his inability to respond or keep to any dates provided. Ash added 3 months to my sale and purchase prior to me dropping him and finding a competent solicitor who has managed to catch up after this dead weight. I have not received a refund to date for the work paid for that Ash never completed. I am currently in the process of bringing a legal case to recover all costs included the fees outstanding. I will contact the ombudsman and other points of authority and only hope this dyer warning may save other unfortunates such as myself from this disaster.
