Excellent service from Raihan and Arshiya at Southwick office when making our wills recently. What can be an emotional experience was sensitively handled and some complex aspects clearly explained

I can’t recommend Right Legal Solicitors enough. They helped me secure a property from auction at the very last minute. Ash, the manager, was exceptional—especially since I was really worried after another solicitor let me down for two weeks. We only had four weeks left, but Ash kept pushing, and despite challenges, we completed on the final day. The team was brilliant, and I’m so grateful—they saved me a huge amount, and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Ash & his assistant were the most unprofessional solicitors that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They are highly unprofessional, do not respond to emails & cannot be reached by telephone. This caused a huge amount of unessesary stress & delays in the whole process. I would avoid them at all costs.

Just completed purchasing my property through Right to buy. Although the process took much longer than expected (no fault of Ash and his team) I can say my experience with Right Legal Solicitors was a positive one. Ash and his team were professional, polite and efficient, they answered any queries I had promptly and Ash even rang to give me updates. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services.

Absolutely shocking experience with Right Legal Solicitors. This firm demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism from start to finish.

The receptionist was consistently rude, dismissive, and spoke in a manner that I found deeply inappropriate and uncomfortable. The overall tone of communication left a very negative impression and raised serious concerns about how clients are treated.

Communication was appalling calls were ignored, messages were not returned, and I was repeatedly left chasing for basic updates. On several occasions, I was given information that later turned out to be inaccurate, which only added to the frustration.

The service overall felt disorganised, unreliable, and lacking any real accountability. The setup and environment also did not reflect what one would expect from a credible or well-run legal practice.

Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before engaging this firm. I will be taking this matter further.

Right Legal were recommended for their speed and efficiency and I found them to be excellent! Any delays that happened were from my not having the paperwork ready. As soon as I replied to queries they were dealt with and sent to the other side. (I was selling a property.) It's a smaller operation, and sometimes the phone line is busy, but everything got sorted in the time frame I was quoted. I had no problems at all. Thanks Ash and team!

Right legal stepped in at the last minute after my previous solicitor was closed down. In just 4 weeks they managed to get the sale of my house over the line. They were professional, efficient and tenacious right to the end. Good communication, always there for advice and from the start they understood the urgency of the situation I had found myself in after been left with only 4 weeks left to complete the sale before the buyers mortgage offer expired. When PM closed suddenly, Ash stepped in and took over my client’s case with only three weeks left before the buyer’s mortgage offer expired and no option to extend. There were several outstanding enquiries, but Ash handled everything with absolute professionalism. He worked proactively with me as the broker, kept communication clear and consistent, and pushed the transaction forward against all odds. Thanks to his dedication, both buyer and seller completed on time. Truly exceptional service.

We purchased an auction property in March 2025 and we still have not completed. Ash did not respond. We took it on ourselves to do most of the work by contacting other parties solicitors getting TR1 forms, probate documents. These guys still managed to mess things up. On the odd occasion that someone picks up the phone they shout and respond rudely.

Avoid like anything and save yourselves the pain!

I work with Ash regularly, and have always found him to be efficient and works quickly. He is knowledgable, approachable, and has never missed a deadline!

We started the sale in June and completed in November. The low fee should have been a warning — in my experience it reflected the level of service provided.

The transaction took around 5–6 months despite there being no complications or legal issues that would normally delay a sale. Throughout the process I had to repeatedly chase updates myself. On several occasions I only discovered from the buyer that enquiries had been raised weeks earlier, and responses from my solicitors often followed roughly a month later — even for very basic matters (for example clarification about a wheelie bin not being included in the sale).

Communication felt extremely poor and reactive rather than proactive. I was frequently given conflicting information about progress, which significantly reduced confidence that the case was under control.

Overall this was by far the most frustrating experience I have had with solicitors. I struggle to reconcile my experience with some of the positive reviews, although the more detailed critical reviews closely match what I encountered. I would not choose to use this firm again.

Avoid this company at all costs!!!

On rare occasions, I was able to speak to someone that was actually helpful but more often that not, staff were rude and ignorant. Staff shouted at me and my family over the phone several times. They did not respond to phone calls, voicemails and emails very often. When they did, they were very slow. No matter how many times a day I rang or at what time, they did not answer a lot of the time. The phone would just go off without an answer machine message as if someone hung up. This was after ignoring my calls and/or being rude. It looked like they seen my number and decided not to answer. When they did reply to emails, they would often be just one sentence answers which did not answer all of my questions.

They refused to do certain forms when asked for only to eventually do them after weeks of saying they would not. When I would ask who I was speaking to, they would not always tell me their name or put a name to an email.

They delayed selling my late mother and father's house by months.

I was put onto this company by Millennium Legal. I had to speak to them who then spoke to Right Legal to get me answers several times. My probate solicitor actually told me she heard Millennium Legal shouting at Right Legal over a phone call telling them "to do what you are being paid to do". They seemed to forget it was my family paying them for a service.

Almost every single document they sent out for my family to sign was missing parts. Even when they did send everything out and we signed it, they would then not send it all to the buyers solicitors.

They once told me that they would no longer work with me and my family. When I asked for that in writing, they would not give me it.

They eventually "helped" sell my parent's house but only after months and months of dragging their feet at every opportunity.

Just look at other reviews to see how other people had similar issues as me and my family.

Save yourselves a lot of time and stress and look for a better company.

If I could give zero stars, I would!!!

My experience was so horrendous it made me ill! In the end I was forced to de-instruct Right Legal and start again from scratch with a more reliable solicitor whose phone wasn't engaged for days at a time and who didn't shout at me. Ultimately I took the firm to the Ombudsman and Right Legal agreed to pay me a modest amount of compensation. Do yourself a favour and find another solicitor.

My experience with Right Legal Solicitors has been overwhelmingly negative. In my opinion, the service felt careless, disorganised and far below what I would expect from a professional firm. I repeatedly had to chase for updates, deadlines drifted without explanation, and the communication I did receive was often unhelpful or incomplete.

Documents provided to me contained multiple mistakes, which gave me little confidence that my case was being handled with the attention it required. At no point did I feel that my matter was being prioritised or managed competently.

Based on my personal experience, I consider their service extremely poor and would strongly advise others to avoid this firm at all costs.

HUGE RED FLAG! This was a cash auction purchase and we were under a strict timeline to exchange. Every time I tried to get hold of Ash, nobody would pick up the phone. This is a one-man company. When I did manage to get hold of him, he was extremely patronising and always tried to mansplain his way out of things. We are now 9 months down the road and the property is still not in our name. We can’t get a mortgage and have lost a lot of money. We are about to launch a legal complaint against Right Legal Solicitors.

Ash was absolutely incredible. There was a mix-up with completion dates for an auction property that i exchanged on and it would have meant loosing out on the deposit and property. His professionalism, knowledge and charm ensured that we were able to push back the completion date by a few days in order to secure the property. I have used Ash and his team previously and will continue to do so

Used this firm 3 years ago for a house sale. A total travesty from start to finish. Took them to the ombudsman who recently found in my favour and awarded costs. I’d advise anyone else who is unhappy to do likewise!
