I had an extremely disappointing experience with Right Legal Solicitors Ltd regarding the sale of my property. The conveyancing process was mishandled from start to finish, riddled with unnecessary delays, lack of professionalism, and a complete disregard for client service, which caused considerable financial and emotional strain. Here are the main issues I faced:

Significant Delays and Lack of Timeliness: Despite my instructions to expedite the sale, the solicitor repeatedly delayed key actions, often responding only at the last possible moment. I provided authorisation to proceed 10 days in advance, yet the solicitor contacted Godiva for my mortgage redemption well after this, ultimately dragging out the timeline further.
Unusual Refusal to Pay Estate Agent Fees from Sale Proceeds: In a surprising break from standard practice, the solicitor refused to pay the estate agent’s fees from the sale funds. Even my estate agent, with over 42 years in the industry, found this unprecedented and disruptive, adding needless complications.
Failure to Escalate the Redemption Process: When it came to expediting the redemption process with Godiva, my solicitor took no initiative. After contacting Godiva myself, I learned that no calls or follow-ups had been made to push things forward. The solicitor Ash did not ask for the redemption figure until the last moment, leading to yet another unnecessary delay.
Withholding Funds Post-Completion: Even after the already-delayed completion on 30th October, my funds were held for an additional day due to an unnecessary “verification” step, despite having already provided my bank details.
Overcharging and Unprofessional Conduct: I was charged for work related to a Deed of Trust that was never performed. The solicitor’s attitude was dismissive, even rude, toward myself, my estate agent, and the buyer’s solicitors.
Given these failings, I would strongly caution anyone considering Right Legal Solicitors Ltd for conveyancing services. My experience was one of persistent delays, unprofessionalism, and poor customer care, with significant financial implications that could have easily been avoided. I am seeking a formal apology, reimbursement for the unnecessary costs incurred, and a full investigation to ensure these issues do not affect future clients.

We used Ash to complete on our new build house I found him to be very friendly and attentive always responding to my emails quickly, we did have hiccups along the way but all got sorted quickly and we then completed our purchase on 31/10/24 his fees were half the cost we had quoted from other firms I would recommend his services.

Absolutely awful experience , a simple purchase of land,Ash was the solicitor dealing with conveyance after 7 months no closer to completion as far as I was aware, no updates only a 5 word statement each time I asked for an update, threatened them with the ombudsman and then I get accused of being aggressive.

Can't thank enough!!! Ash has been wonderful, very helpful and prompt completed the whole buying process with ease!!! Always answered my call with joy and replied to my emails promptly.... Highly recommend and I give complete 5 star rating. I highly recommend his services.

Absolutely awful experience. I had a simple property sale to first time buyers and no chain. Ash Arshad handled the conveyancing but had to be chased during the whole process. He sat on enquiries from the buyers for a month. When I chased he said that he was in the process of dealing with it. I asked him to send them over to me to answer (there were only 5), it took me 5 minutes to get them back to him to pass on to the buyers. He is rude and obnoxious over the phone - that’s if you can ever get them to answer the phone.
Lesson to self, cheap fees - cheap service!

Arshad Aziz provided an excellent service from start to finish. I am a property developer and the service I have received was top notch. Definitely will continue to liaise with them in the future. Definitely would recommend them 5 star.

What a shamble of a company
Ash is rude and unprofessional doesn’t know what he’s doing, when asked question does know them and doesn’t reply to emails
They take your money than does nothing , you have to chase them constantly then he’s rude , how can this company be running is beyond belief … everything confirmed when the buyers solicitors reach out to me to saying that right legal have not responded to their emails that I decided to stop using them immediately and switch solicitors. From the reviews here I can see the same experiences

I had a very positive experience with Ash and his team. Massively cheaper than any other quote. He was patient and always responded to my calls and emails. Most sales take many months and this was no exception, Ash was always there with advice and I doubt I would have got through this without his help. Thank you, you have a great team.

How this company are still operating in conveyancing bemuses me…incompetent is an understatement, rude beyond belief..e.g my question can you please confirm if I will be completing on Friday?
Response.. Yes Complete on Friday unless something horrible happens!

This is how unprofessional this company are…stay well away!

You will feel that Mr Aziz spends about 10 seconds a week on your file and you will constantly have to chase him up. Avoid.

Scam!!! don’t under any circumstances use Ash.
They receive your initial fee, along with your ID checks and searches ( done by another firm in a timely manner). Then they literally do nothing. If you contact them they lie, change the timescale and are very rude.
Our circumstances were difficult we were as a family living in a static caravan in very cramped conditions with no residential address. Ash was aware of this but didn’t care.
The only way we have managed to buy our new property was to change to another solicitor.

Ash and his team completed our house purchase in record time. They were really easy to keep in contact with and kept us in the loop regularly which is rare for solicitors in my experience. Can't recommend them enough. We certainly will be using them in the future.

Hats off to Ash and his team. He took on our purchase with an impossible deadline. He worked so hard, how he managed it I don't know but we completed on our deadline day. He was very quick sending us the documents we needed and was very clear with his Instructions on what he needed us to do. He was always on the other end of the phone to help us. We even had a follow up call to make sure our purchase was all good and we'd had the keys etc.
I will definitely be using Ash again. Can't thank him enough for what he did for us and how hard he worked on our behalf.

Not a professional company. Economical with the truth, you have to continually chase them to action the simplest task. The other party’s legal team and the buyer provides evidence of chasing them. They also overcharge for work we’d already paid for via an intermediary, knowing it was a council buyback but refuse to provide evidence of notifying us of the additional charges. We were going to take them to small claims, but couldn’t be bothered.

I cannot recommend Ash highly enough. This has been the quickest move that I've been involved in, also with the longest chain. Most of this is down to the speedy processing and gathering of information needed for the sale. From start to finish, Ash has done everything asked of him, and it's all been a smooth process.

Right Legal handled our recent property purchase. They looked after our interests diligently, responded quickly to queries and were very good value.

Ash and his team are truly first class. We had a difficult time with the chain below and had many promised exchange dates come and go. Ash at no point failed me, he was always on hand, always took my calls, kept me calm and really went the extra mile I could not have got through it without him what a fantastic company you should all be very proud of yourselves.

There were times when I got frustrated but overall they got the job done.
This solicitors do, DO the job you pay them for. There were times when I got frustrated when they didn’t get back to me as quickly as I wanted to. But at times my expectations were unrealistic.
I had no problem receiving my money. The paperwork was in order sale completed.
The only time there was a delay in the process was NOT of their making but delays and changes of dates from the other side.
Overall I think they did a good enough job.

Worst worst worst , avoid avoid avoid,no help,no communication,waste of time and money,i done all the necessary calls and paperwork so it finally had completion,and then insisted on a dying man to take a video call to release funds, hope he rots in hell!!!!!!!
