They take extreme care in packaging items. There have been many times when the mail carriers bring my items with dents, holes, and sometimes even shampoo, and because of RightStuf care in packaging none of my items have been damaged form mail carrier neglect. One downside is if an item is out of stock it may take months (mostly because of covid-19 related issues) to receive your order, but in stock items are shipped and received usually within a business week of ordering. The pricing of the items and care into making sure the oder is right is why I place my review as such.

My manga came on time, and packaging was nice! Ordered multiple times, and have enjoyed contents of my order every time! Definitely going to order from them again!

Have always had a great experience. Items are always received in a timely fashion and and great care has been taken to package the items carefully and securely. Will continue to have my business for years to come.

I use Right Stuf primarily for manga shopping. Previously I used other retailers such as Amazon, but I have switched almost exclusively to Right Stuf over the past two or three years.

Their prices are unbeatable, usually a couple dollars less than even Amazon on most items (manga), and their base prices generally rival the best sales of other retailers such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble since tax /usually/ isn't a factor and there's free shipping over $75. I can't speak as much about their anime and other merchandise, but I've seen comparable prices to other retailers, if not generally lower, with the exception of figures (which can be hit or miss price-wise).

I order several hundred, if not more than a thousand, manga each year, and while some titles do show their yellowing due to age, most arrive in pristine condition. The times I have received damaged items, Right Stuf has happily offered a replacement. Their customer service team is really great at helping you out most of the time!

Their Got Anime membership is pretty nice if you're a heavy spender, but not so great if you do most of that spending during sales where the discounts from the membership aren't as applicable. It would be nice if there were more perks to membership such as discounted shipping thresholds, annual gifts, or really anything besides discounts. But, it's fine for what it is.

Shipping times have to be the pitfall of the retailer. It can take weeks, if not months, for some items to be shipped out, especially if they are low on stock. If you're like me and don't really care about how quickly you receive items, then Right Stuf is still fantastic! But if you need your items guaranteed by a certain date, I'd definitely recommend checking out another retailer.

My only real suggestion beyond additional membership perks would be improvements to the website. It would be nice if there were filters for not displaying previously purchased items or possibly manga titles by certain authors.

Otherwise, though, Right Stuf remains my go-to retailer for manga. Impeccable customer service, packaging, and prices position it above the competition.

Several of the 1-star reviews on this website are about issues outside Right Stuf's control, such as postal service problems or manufacturing delays. So if you're looking over this website to make a decision about purchasing from them, please take that into consideration and read the reviews carefully! Right Stuf is fantastic!

Rightstuf is the best place when it comes to prices however I wish that I could edit my own order if it has not shipped yet, it's a lot of work having to email or call for someone else to cancel my order (or be refused to remove an item). On top of that I was told members have priority for shipping but none of my December orders have shipped (I have 60 items in stock just floating in limbo) but my money has been taken so it's very frustrating that I've paid all this money and none of my manga has shipped. Sometimes these things deter me from shopping here.

This is hands down the best online retailer I've come across for otaku interests. From the selection to the prices, I really don't think one could ask for much more. The optional membership is reasonably priced too and the discounts it gives you helps it pay for itself. The one thing in particular though that I love about Right Stuf is the care they put into shipping their products. Every time I place an order I know my purchase is going to arrive safely even if their is some rough handling by the carrier. I can't tell you how many times I've ordered items from Amazon only to have them shipped in a cheap media mailer and damaged upon delivery. Right Stuf won't do you like that. They may take a little longer to ship items than the giant machine that Amazon is but, as a collector, I'll gladly wait a little longer knowing my purchase is being handled with utmost care.

I just recently discovered Rightstuf about a year ago and since then I have been purchasing all my anime and manga mostly from them. They have the best deals and I love all the sales they have throughout the year. And when it comes to packaging, they are second to none. I never have to worry about getting an item damaged which is not something I can say about other major retailers such as Amazon and Best Buy. However, I did recently receive a manga with yellowing recently which was strange as usually if a manga is new it should not have yellowing. That is the only flaw I have seen after a year of purchasing with them but it was not enough for me to lower my rating. Still 5/5 and I will continue to buy from them for years to come.

They have good prices and thier packaging is awsome though it takes a long time to ship than other sellers.

I've been a GotAnime club member of Right Stuf since they first launched the service back around the time The Irresponsible Captain Tylor was coming out on VHS (When Suncoast was still a thing!) and I've always received top-notch service from them.

Lately my wife and I have been ordering the Sailor Moon Eternal editions as they come out (Along with other manga and anime series), and we have yet to receive a damaged copy. Their warehouse staff takes extra care of their products, wrapping the big art books and "ultimate" manga editions so that they don't get scuffed or dented in transit. It's cool to see, because that doesn't happen with some of the other online providers out there.

All in all, I highly recommend them! They are my go-to for anything anime and manga. I don't check anywhere else unless I happen to miss a limited edition run on something.

RightStuf is one of the few places that I can trust to have all my books and movies packaged and shipped safely to my house. Their catalog is expansive, and you can’t find better deals on manga (especially if you live in the U.S.)! Out of my 5+ years shopping from them, I’ve never had a bad experience, and I hope people continue to choose RightStuf for all their anime, manga, and otaku needs!

I've been ordering with RightStuf for over a year and never experienced any difficulty. They are clear with their guidelines around pre-ordering/out of stock items and when they will be shipped. I keep coming back for more and even purchased their membership for additional savings.

Right Stuf Anime is a old and reliable company. They have been essential to the anime fandom growth for the pass 30 so years. They only sell new physical items and with their remarkably good packaging methods, you will always receive it prefect condition.
Personally I've been a customer for about 2 years now. Most of my anime/manga collection came from them. Their normal prices are hard to beat and their sale prices are down right unbelievable. They also usually have one or more giveaway running, which are always nice to sign up for.
Just as a side note, if you are planning to buy a lot from them, I recommend buying a Got Anime Membership first. Membership give discounts on most items in the shop and even in select sales. Overall, if you want to start collecting new anime related product, the Right Stuf Anime is the place to go.

I've been a customer of Right Stuf for many years. Every experience with customer service, they've always been extremely friendly and respectful. The store policy on shipping is first come first serve, if more orders are placed than they get in inventory, the later orders will need to wait for a second restock.

They've got seasonal catalogs, at first I used those and purchased anime over the phone, but the online store has their full selection of goods to buy, and subscribing with your email will notify you of sales. They even give a preference chart, where you can select what type of anime you'd like to get emails for.

Sometimes I purchase the Got Anime? Membership, and always try to purchase enough for the savings to surpass the membership cost. It's just $18 for a full year, and with 10% off the already low prices, it doesn't take much to reach that amount in purchases. Figures only get discounted by 5% though.

Covid-19 has slowed down the email support ticket response time, but they give a window of time it may take to reply in their help section on their website.

Right Stuf Anime partners up with quite a few different companies to carry inventory published or produced by them, so when I asked if they'd ever restock a certain anime, they were not sure if they will. So they don't have all the answers, but they're not jerks about it.

They call employees RSA Family, and keep people employed for a very long time. I think that makes them worthy of my business. I try to be a loyal customer, and I've only seen a better sale price from another vendor online once.

Overall I am very satisfied with the services and prices Right Stuf Anime provides. They have the widest selection of anime related merchandise I've ever seen.

I have been using Right Stuf for several years now and I have never had an issue that was unable to be resolved quickly. The few times I have spoken to a customer service representative they have been very friendly and helpful. My orders always arrive very well packed so all of the books, discs, and figures I have received have been in perfect condition.

RightStuf is a great company but it needs to be remembered that it is a small company.
Getting responses and help sometimes take time, and functions slow down during the holidays. They also do not ship preorders on the day they come out, like Amazon or other sellers may do. Sometimes a preorder never gets sent to me with the others and is marked as out of stock even though they were "in stock" on the day or shortly before they were released. However their preorders are discounted so by taking longer, you save more. They also send out a lot of preorders a week early or so, which I have never had from another vendor. They have many hard to find titles, and you can purchase out of stock items to receive at a later date. However again, they don't send them as soon as they are available most of the time and if you want them to send you items that are now available, you may need to buy another order and they will throw in any other open items you have that are available. They sadly raised their free shipping threshold which cut down on my frequency of orders, even for the club members such as myself. However they run promos at a discounted (original) price every now and again.
Rightstuf packaging is amazing and they seem to genuinely care about the items they are shipping. I frequently got damaged books from other places I purchased online, and I have gotten maybe 4 damaged books out of the 300+ I have purchased on RightStuf.
In the end the company is great to buy from, but you need to be patient and consider the savings vs time cost when it comes to ordering items, especially preorders and out of stock items.

Right Stuf Anime has always been good to me. Ever since I started using their service in 2019 and became a Got Anime member, I have been consistently impressed with their work.

First off, their shipping is excellent. Everything I have ever ordered from them was wrapped professionally, with no damaged items.

Secondly, their deals are amazing. Whether it's figures, manga, light novels, or just random anime merch, it's likely on sale. Quite notably, their bundles during big sales (ex. Birthday, Black Friday, Holiday Sales) are absolutely insane for the value.

Finally, they frequently give out offers and promo codes with their orders. While they aren't a huge discount or anything, it's still very nice to see, and I appreciate the gesture.

Sadly, I've heard that their shipping rates are pretty large for international buyers. However, if you live in the US, I 100% recommend ordering from Right Stuf!

Rightstuf is my go-to website for anything manga/anime related! I primarily buy manga and find that their prices are hard to beat. They have sales frequently throughout the year but the best sales happen during their birthday sale (July) and their black Friday/holiday sale (November/December). Packaging is superb, which they are known for and pride themselves on. The only problems I have had with my manga are the occasional nicks/dings primarily on the spines in which don't bother me. I've contacted customer care a handful of times via online chat/email and only had good experiences. Prior to the pandemic, Rightstuf filled and shipped items quickly and I always received my items in about 1-2 weeks. Currently, as with everywhere else, due to the pandemic, Rightstuf has taken a hit and has been slower with replenishing their out of stock items (due to publishers' inability to reprint volumes per usual because of the pandemic) and shipment may take a little longer (decrease number of staff working because of the pandemic) - all in which makes sense as almost all businesses has been affected during this time. Despite everything, I'm thankful for Rightstuf and their staff for pulling through during this time and am always happy to shop from them as I know everything will be packaged amazingly!

RIGHTSTUF is an absolute must in my life. If you are buying merchandise, manga or anime you must shop here. The membership is $18 a year. It has unlimited titles of works. If your into BL or Yuri you will find a multitude of choices.

I only discovered Right Stuf Anime this last year, early 2020 or so, but since I found them, I have been constantly buying merch from them. As others have said, I have personally never had a negative experience with them. I'll be honest, in the past half year or so, I have bought a TON of stuff from them; blurays, light novels, manga, and figures. Not one of the many many items that I have purchased have arrived damaged in any form. From what I've seen, they take extra care in their packaging. I haven't ever paid for the priority shipping, so I can't speak to the speed of that, but it does take more time for my packages to arrive thatn if I were to buy them from say Amazon. However, to my knowledge, Right Stuf operates out of a single warehouse, and they happen to be halfway across the country from me. They're definitely not a megacorporation like Amazon, which is why they don't have the same amount of resources to just blast out packages like crazy. I'm totally cool to wait a little longer to get my stuff, though, simply because of the care they seem to have for their customers, and some of the awesome deals I've gotten from them. They also have an annual membership you can purchase for $18 a year, and in my mind, it's definitely worth it. You get small to large price chops on many items, plus once in a while an early sneak peek at certain deals. I will say, some of their exclusive products can tend to be a bit pricy at times, but with how scarce/nonexistent certain western releases for anime products can be, I'm just glad some of the shows I love have physical media available at all. Overall, I am definitely going to be continuously shopping from Right Stuf for the forseeable future, unless they somehow majorly change some of their practices for the worse or something. I would absolutely recommend Right Stuf Anime for any fan looking to get their hands on a little to a lot of anime merchandise.
