Had come back from excellent river cruise on Seine to find that our next trip to Sicily had been cancelled. However a couple of days later we decided to book the Classic Sicily tour in its place and Linda was so patient going through everything with the booking process and using existing information which made my life so much easier. Always find the staff are so thorough and somehow make us feel we are on the way and really looking forward to the next trip, and hopefully more!

All the staff on board were extremely helpful and made the holiday such a pleasure.
I would highly recommend this holiday.
Rivera also helped my sister, who broke her wrist in Amsterdam and couldn't make it to the cruise.

My booking was carried out with the Rivera sale agent Laurie Matheson who I have booked holidays with in the past few years. This will be our 12th holiday with Rivera and the booking was made easily with Laurie's help and knowledge. Last year he held another river cruise holiday option for us until we returned home,
Laurie always treats me with courtesy .

Booking process was exemplary. The agent was friendly professional and efficient. All questions answered immediately.. Nothing was too much trouble. Second time with Riviera (river cruise) and will struggle to use anyone else.

Very easy online booking process

I booked my river cruise yesterday with Jane Faulkes , she was very efficient and combined professionalism with friendliness. She provided good customer service and followed up my query about booking a door to door pick up service promptly the following day.

Easy booking process. Loved the detail in the cruise itinerary, this was helpful when it came to making a choice about which cruise was right for me.

As a returning customer, I booked a river cruise for next year as we enjoyed the experience. I then realised that I received an email offering discount if I met certain criteria. I spoke with a lovely customer service representative called Laurie who was helpful and efficient. He stated that I did meet the criteria and I had a further 10% off the initial booking. Was extremely happy with the outcome.

My initial email enquiry about the cruise we were interested generated a quick and personal response. Then we had a very short wait when we contacted Riviera to speak to a member of the team. All team members were extremely helpful answering our questions.
We have been very happy with the information and help from Riviera.

My husband and I were taking the Danube to Black Sea River Cruise from 1 June to 15 June 2026. Ever since 2024, we are fond of taking our holidays, both river cruises and worldwide tours, with Riviera. We are really satisfied with their good arrangements, support and hospitality in these tours. The standard as far as we can see is consistently high no matter we were on the ships of the Rhine, Seine, Douro and Egypt or the worldwide tours in the States and Morocco. Everything like transfer, transport, excursions and any issues that might arise were well taken care of which are especially indispensable to elders like us. At the same time, the customer service team is really helpful and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Elaine for her tremendous help in resolving our problems.

In regard to our last trip on the Danube to the Black Sea , it was really impressive. We loved the rich historical heritage and archeological sites in Eastern Europe throughout their Roman, Slavonic and Ottoman period to the recent development of the Balkan Peninsula. Wonderful scenery is abundant not to say the Iron Gorge which made this trip in Eastern Europe very unique. This is a worthy going trip in terms of cost effectiveness and things to be seen. We really enjoy our experiences with Riviera.

The information provided was comprehensive and the booking procedure straightforward. It was clear how to gain assistance if I needed it.

I just made a complete mistake over my booking that I had wanted to cancel ! I thought it was Riveiras fault and it was mine for not reading the e mail i had recieved properly , I could have lost a lot of money and a wonderful Gentleman at the Call Centre this morning named Tokey from Manchester sorted it all out
for me and explained what had happened .
Thanks to goodness all sorted and I will be definitely booking at another time with Riveira ! They were more than fair .

Had to book by telephone as there seemed to be a problem with booking online. Member of staff, Linda, was very helpful and had my booking completed with no hiccups. She explained everything clearly as she went along.

Booking process- Customer service prompt and professional . If this continues I will be very pleased.
