Deceptive and confusing business model…
Deceptive and confusing business model with the memberships and everything. I've also spent a lot of time on the phone trying to cancel. Good product selection, but the company has made some wrong turns on my opinion.
Exactly what I ordered and on time!
I ordered a very specific shoe that I wanted that they had stock of. HOKA Clifton 9. The item arrived in a timely manner and was exactly what I wanted and is working out great!
Stay away from this brand!
Awful experience shopping with them and customer service from in store to online. Store clerk couldn’t even place the right order and the company doesn’t do refunds so you’re stuck with a gift card on a brand that you don’t want to spend money on.
I need my vip fee back…
Ship wrong product then bill for return shipping. Wait times to resolve there errors is poor. Knowledge of service reps is low on how to handle pre order items. Cancel orders without sending emails or updating account page. One order lasted several weeks and still no shoes or complete resolution.
Website upgrade not very user friendly
After the website upgrade the checkout sections was always erroring out for me. I have close close the website and re launch again to step through the checkout process while redeeming the vip rewards

I have been ordering from RRS since the 1990's and was a VIP member. My last order (of $140) was shipped incorrectly after they had "upgraded" their computer systems. They were not willing to correct the issue to my satisfaction. So after 30 years, I will no longer support this company.

I used to shop at the Newbury Park
I used to shop at the Newbury Park store and they were wonderful. That was 5 years ago. I have in the last two months referred three people over there. They have all tried calling the store day after day after day. They do not answer their phones. I even tried to call their customer service and was told a 20 minute wait. 10 minutes after holding it still said a 20 minute wait. What has happened to this store?? no more referrals to them. Wont buy on line from them either knowing you cant talk with them when you need help!

Buyer Beware – Disappointing Experience with Road Runner Sports Online
I ordered a new pair of shoes from Road Runner Sports’ online store about a week ago, expecting a brand-new item as advertised. Unfortunately, what I received was far from that. The shoes arrived with visible wear on the soles, stains on the upper fabric, and shoelaces already installed, indicating they had been previously worn or handled inappropriately.
I promptly contacted customer service and spoke with a representative named Rick, who was courteous and professional. After reviewing the photos I emailed, he acknowledged the issue and agreed that this was not how new merchandise should be sent out. While I do appreciate their willingness to replace the shoes, when I asked what would be done to address the inconvenience and disappointment, I was told nothing further would be offered.
In my view, sending out used or damaged shoes while advertising them as new raises serious concerns about quality control and customer care. Mistakes can happen—but how a company handles those mistakes matters. Based on my experience, I cannot in good faith recommend shopping with Road Runner Sports online.
I share this review to help other consumers make informed choices. Proceed with caution.
Very Disappointed. Not worth the wait
To start we waited where we were told to sign in and after about 15 they took our name and VIP information. We then waited about another 20 minutes when they called someone before us who arrived 10 minutes after us. I complained and we finally got service. The kid that waited on us was nice but had very limited knowledge. We told him what type of sneakers we needed and there were barely any choices. I wound up getting the exact same sneakers I have and my husband had to order his because there was no stock. In essence we could have just done this all on line instead of being aggravated for an hour and a half.

I purchased a pair of Brooks running shoes from a pop up HS track meet. The sole separated from the shoe in less that 100 miles of running and under 90 days. I took care of the shoes well. I called the store, they said they would only give me a 10% discount if I signed up to be a member, on a new pair of shoes and would do nothing else to help me out. BRUTAL!
