Poor website stock control

I always want to support businesses like Robert Dyas but I've ordered three things online. Two of those items were then out of stock after the purchase was made, even though I was able to order via the website. So out of three purchases, I have only ever got one. With the most recent purchase, an email was sent to me to tell me they were cancelling the order as they didn't have stock and refund given. The refund is not instant like most businesses, so I'm now £200 down in my account waiting for a long refund to process, and I don't have the product I ordered. They also waited 3 days to tell me they were cancelling the order due to not having stock... The afternoon before it was due to be delivered (as it was a large item I had moved around commitments to be home for delivery) so it went unnoticed /actioned until it was time to dispatch.
The stock control system linked to their website needs to be sorted, as does their bank transfer system for refunds. Ultimately it's means I'm waiting 8-10 days to resolve a failed transaction, that should never have been able to be made in the first place.

Late. Broken. Poor customer service.

I paid for next day delivery and only half of the items arrived 5 days later with the other half being 6 days later.

Not only that but the one of the items was broken upon arrival. Customer service is slow to respond on phone, even slower still on emails and don't seem to know how they can help. Very disappointed.

Appalling service

Appalling service. 2nd weekend with half a garden furniture set. 1 box correct colour, 2 boxes including table and cushions incorrect colour. Advised as soon as delivered. 5 phone calls later by me to get an update. No update. No idea of when incorrect boxes being collected and my furniture I have paid for but still can’t use is arriving.

The BBQ

The BBQ, looks sturdy and well made, the proof will come over the weekend when it gets christened.
I will admit it did take longer to assemble than the hour stated!

There was no meaningful correspondence…

There was no meaningful correspondence between me and the delivery company.
The delivery was an hour earlier than the time given, and the packaging was in a poor condition and provided no protection to the item delivered.
The assembly of the lawn mower was simple and it was up and running without any problem, hence 4 stars
It would have been 5 stars but for the delivery company's actions and poor state of the packaging.

Good price but they use Evri (:-(

Good price but they use Evri as their courier. Consequently the delivery slot was missed and the item arrive some time later, after I had raised a complaint with Evri. Additionally it was left outside the property, ignoring requests to place it in the enclosed porch. If Robert Dyas used a better courier they would get five stars
