I ordered a drinkmate omnifizz and it was supposed to arrive Friday 29th may and I was promised it was shipped out however yodel claims it hasn't received it and I have not received an item. Waste of time and feels like scam

Great customer service and really good advice.
Late delivery
When I purchased the parasol, delivery was guaranteed by Wednesday 27th May, waited in all day Tuesday and Wednesday, nothing delivered. Contacted Robert Dyas to enquire why, said there was a delay, it would be delivered either Friday or the following Monday. If I had not contacted them, would not have known when it was being delivered.
Do not trust the delivery date you are given when purchasing from Robert Dyas.

Delivery Shambles
The item that I ordered and paid for was confirmed by Robert Dyas in an email and I was given a delivery date and order number. A couple of days later I got another email from Robert Dyas saying that my order had been dispatched to an organisation called Planet Direct Ltd and it would contact me about a delivery date. I have never been contacted by that organisation. A day or so after the second Robert Dyas email, I received an SMS Text from an organisation called Kandytoys Holdings Ltd saying that a parcel I had ordered from it would be delivered soon and there was a hyperlink to click on to view delivery options. There was no indication what the order was, no order no and no reference to Robert Dyas. I assumed it was a scam text, deleted it and reported it to Fraud Action. Shortly after this I had an email from Direct Express saying that it would be delivering my Kandytoys Holdings order soon and there was a link in the email to click on to view delivery options.I assumed this a scam email. Whilst this was going on I had contacted Robert Dyas to query where my order was and why Planet Direct had not contacted me. I received an email apologising for the delay and reimbursing the delivery charge as compensation. The email went on to say that my order would be delivered by Direct Express. It would appear that Robert Dyas, Planet Direct, Kandytoys Holdings Ltd and Direct Express are all linked in some ways. How I am supposed to know that is something that Robert Dyas needs to consider. I thought that I was being scammed about some bogus order from a toy company that I had never heard of. I placed my order with Robert Dyas. I expect all contact with me about my order to come from Robert Dyas, or to contain reference to Robert Dyas confirming what the order is, the order number and proper tracking information. I am still waiting for my order to be delivered. I won’t use Robert Dyas online again as it is shambolic.

Will never use Robert Dyas again
Advised purchase would be delivery 27th May, still not received or any advise provided, 1st June. No reply to any emails as per address on website or through website contact messages, although advised max 72 hours reply. Tracking email not giving any information. Cancelled order, still no response. Appalling customer care/service.

No Delivery, and no update
I was told delivery of patio cushion storage boxes would be on 27 May, as of 1st June i am still waiting waiting, and no new delivery date given.
Chasing Amazon the Dyas delivery company on line was impossible and frustrating kept being informed i had no account with them

Very happy with the items we ordered. Delivered on schedule. Only problem was the courier sack trolley lost a wheel so had to be carried to location. Very polite and helpful delivery men.

This was the first time I have used…
This was the first time I have used Robert Dyas and it will definitely be the last. I ordered some fencing border for the garden eight days ago and was given a delivery date of four days so I expected it on Friday 29th may. After ringing both DX (delivery company) and Robert dyas I was told it would be delivered today 1/6/26. The reason I went for the original date was because of hospital appointments so had to change the date to tomorrow 2/6/26 so in total a four day delivery turned into ten days. What a complete shambles. Definitely won’t bother again and will tell the family how bad they are no matter what the reviews say.

Professional and Courteous Delivery Service
Delivery was on time and the two gentlemen handled the product professionally.
They were very helpful and courteous and delivered the heavy items to the first floor up an awkward staircase without complaint and without touching the walls.

Retro fridge arrived in style
Delivery was fantastic,the guy took all the packaging off,and bought it into the kitchen,which was a real help as I'm waiting for a hip replacement,put it in place,and it worked,well pleased and would definitely use Robert dyas again

Disappointed by Lack of Responsiveness
Parcel thrown over over the 1.2m high gate by delivery driver. Not a good start, then opened what was left of the split carton to find that the parcel contained entirely the wrong objects. Tried to raise a complaint using the chat function on Dyas web site, but it struggled to understand the problem.
Eventually received a response from a human who seemed to think that the damaged carton was the extent of the problem, and failed to grasp that the contents were incorrect.
Am still awaiting a further response, but each interaction is taking three or four days, so be prepared to be very patient if you really want to deal with this company.
Updated 16:26 01/06/26: It's interesting to note that the Robert Dyas response to an unfavourable public review, is somewhat faster than their lackadaisical response to regular 'direct' complaints. Pictures sent as requested. Your ticket Ref #DYS-1351741

Poor service
Phoned customer service, as my order had not arrived. I’d used tracking which said “ Item received by DX and awaiting route scan (Due for delivery by Thursday 28 May 2026)” - it was now the 1st of June. Waited on hold for 49 minutes and 50seconds only to be cut off. I think that’s pretty poor service.
