We received an excellent service from Roomsense for refitting our kitchen. The delivery team were competent and professional. Valdas, who carried out the installation, was outstanding. He was also highly professional, a quick and capable worker, quietly good humoured, punctual polite. There were a few problems at first due to errors in measurement but Valdas and the Roomsense staff resolved them successfully, with replacement parts despatched promptly so that Valdas was able to complete in 5 days.
The cost of the installation was very reasonable, the new fittings, hob and double oven are of good quality. We are delighted that the whole experience was less stressful than expected. We would whole heartedly recommend Roomsense.

So here's my review of my recent kitchen re-vamp with Roomsense - it's a bit TLDR maybe, but I hope informative to fellow consumers and a fair reflection of my experience of / towards Roomsense as a supplier too.

It's worth mentioning at the outset that I selected Roomsense specifically only after putting various other high-street and trade companies through their respective procurement paces too. Roomsense was the stand-out candidate for me from a commercial, personnel and logistical perspective - and I'm still overall satisfied with that decision after the event, despite some hiccups on the installation front along the way...

And so - without further ado - on to my review:

THE GOOD

- Andreas was a pleasure to deal with at pre-sales / design stages. He was friendly, informative and upfront, with strong communication and no pressure selling at all. In short, Andreas, was pretty much the deciding factor in me landing on Roomsense as an organisation in the first place - and that by a country mile too. Someone give that man a raise!

- Fair price, fair play and fair deal - I got the exact kitchen I wanted, both started on time and finished on time, and which cost / constituted all of what we originally agreed. Themis in particular was pretty much all over the installation and similarly responsive to any questions / concerns raised before, during and after the fit.

- The fitting was to excellent quality. The lads turned up when they said they would (for the most part), and were polite and respectful throughout (albeit with a bit of a language barrier, and I'm multi-lingual too...).

THE BAD

- While the kitchen fitting itself couldn't be faulted, on closer inspection, the work around painting and electrics just seriously wasn't up to snuff. With the benefit of hindsight, we should have collectively taken MUCH more time at sign-off stage to ensure that any 'devil in the detail' items were addressed upfront while the guys where still on hand, rather than having to call people back - at times urgently - post initial installation. This would have saved me a world of pain had we done this from the get-go, including the disaster first night scenario when turning on the microwave for the first time ended up blowing out the power to my entire flat, for example...

- The guys also didn't use dust curtains beyond the first couple of days, and post-installation cleaning was very much only 'skin deep'. I'd obviously expected dust, but not to the extent that I'd have to clean for 4 - 5 hours literally non-stop after the fitters had left...

I want to clearly state that Andreas and Themis jumped on the electrical issue literally immediately, and that was solved first thing the very next morning. They also made sure any other residual issues were rectified relatively soon after installation as well.

SUMMARY

I am delighted with my beautiful new kitchen - and if I could post pics on here, I absolutely would! Overall I felt I had a positive engagement with Roomsense - if more so at office level than on the ground. I do fully 'get' that this is pretty much par for the course for pretty much every building project ever though...!

I would definitely use Roomsense again and would happily recommend them to others as a solid, respectable, reliable and overall "human" mid-range / mid-size kitchen firm, to whom customers and customer outcomes do genuinely matter.

Being real for a minute, the reality is that large-scale, high-stakes - not to mention deeply personal (by definition 'close to home'!) - engagements like these practically never go off entirely without some form of hitch or another, and the litmus test here is how a supplier responds to post-sale / post-fit issues encountered.

In this respect, Roomsense did pass muster - and for the most part made sure I was supported / kept in touch whilst any residual issues were being worked through (albeit with a chase or two in the mix...).

As with ANY property / building engagement going forward, my one recommendation (based on first-time, first-hand recent experience!) would be to make sure that - when it comes to the 'doing of the doing' on the ground - you insist on dust sheets from the outset and test anything and everything humanely possible post-installation, and even then only once the dust has physically been cleared from key surface areas.

All this being said, overall I am very happy with the outcome, and happy to recommend Roomsense to others as well - thanks again guys and all the very best for the future!

Purchased a new kitchen which was fitted by Steve Martin - absolutely fantastic job , so professional and even managed to change a few things that we were not happy with. Cannot fault his work, would definitely recommend to all.

I had my kitchen fitted by Roomsense. The fitter who came was Steve, I must say I am very impressed and very happy with the whole process. Steve was very professional and finished fitting my kitchen with 4 days. The finishing touches are spot on I have no regrets whatsoever. I am very pleased that I chose Roomsense for my kitchen and I will use Roomsense for my bathroom soon. Fantastic job. I can’t stop admiring my kitchen. Thank you so much Roomsense.

We have just had a new Bathroom fitted by Roomsense and we could not be happier. From the initial consultation with Holly, the visit from the designer Andreas, Roomsense have been first class throughout. Our installers, Petr and Mateusz, worked tirelessly and the quality of their workmanship is outstanding. They are Masters of their Craft. Many thanks!

From start to finish our whole experience having a new kitchen fitted in our expanded kitchen dinner was first class. The process was well explained and all the people involved were helpful and professional, and our kitchen fitter Steve was fantastic. All round great customer service.

We are very happy with our kitchen remodel. Steve was very helpful and thorough. Always on time and tidied up and he what along. Would definitely recommend the company.

These lot were fantastic from start to finish. Andreas done a brilliant job in designing our kitchen. He knew exactly what we wanted and his customer service was outstanding!

Steve went through every thing with me and gave me a price.
And I glad to say I went with ROOMSENSE
And I was not let me down and I was very impress from start to finish.
We had a few problems on the way.
But were sort out very quickly.
The tiles I purchase for the kitchen are lovely.
But a fitter nightmare,
Theses tiles have a left and right and are arrow.
It took 7meters in all with NICK cutting the tiles over 2days.
Every one that comes in comment on what a good job he has done
Even the men point out the cuts and say the he is very skilled

Roomsense recently completed our new kitchen and i couldn't be happier with the overall service and high spec level of all the units/tops etc. A particular shout out to Jeff who was our original sales consultant and spent 2 hours with us at our home going through questions, options and costs in precise detail + finishing the appointment with a digital mock up of the new kitchen. Themis, our project manager who juggled calendars and handled complicated delivery scenarios of appliances that were delayed coming from Europe ( a few Brexit/Covid restrictions totally out or Roomsenses hands) and finally Arunas our superb Kitchen fitter who made everything stress free and finished the job to such a high spec ! ...A great experience overall, well done...Lee ( in Peckham, London)

The whole purchase experience was like a breath of fresh air compared to other larger chain stores that we visited. We had our own assigned designer who helped us with suggestions when we could not decide. Our fitter was brilliant and really cared about the job he was doing. He would ask us at every stage all our preferences during the fitting or our bathroom. Our new Bathroom looks amazing and better than I could have possibly imagined. I did not even pick my bathroom from the showroom so I know that it is unique to me thanks to my designer. The components of the bathroom are top quality and I know they will last me for many years. I highly recommend ROOMSENSE as good value for money whilst delivering on luxury. Absolutely amazing job -Thank you very much!

We see room sense online we enquired and got a call back the next day to arrange a meeting the representative was so helpful in choosing kitchen sink worktops etc then the kitchen arrived the day it was supposed to the fitters arrived the day they was supposed to, this day and age doesn't happen a lot
Then they started on my kitchen I am in the building trade and the two fitters that came and the work they did was exceptional the standard was 10/10 polite tidy on time on my experience I would highly recommend room sense from start to finish

I am so glad I bought my kitchen from Roomsense. From the outset there was no hard sell and they are a friendly team throughout. Delivery drivers were excellent and nothing was missing. Nicky the fitter was a perfectionist. I would recommended to family or friend.

From starting with the initial visit to delivery and making up the cabinets (we installed the kitchen ourselves), we have been very impressed with Roomsense. The service and communication has been excellent and the quality of the kitchen is also excellent, it has been remarked upon by our builders, plumber and electrician. We are really pleased with it, looks great!

The service we received from Roomsense was amazing. Our kitchen designer was so helpful and we now have the kitchen of our dreams.
My friends also used them and it was their recommendations that encouraged me to make the appointment. We are so glad we did. Everyone we dealt with was polite and helpful which is why we gave a 5 star review.

My husband and I have been really impressed with Roomsense Kitchens. From start to finish they were courteous and professional. Our designer Andreas was exceptional. We went through a few options with him on the best layout for the space and our needs and where there was an awkward space he came up with innovative solutions, which complimented the design and neatly filled the space. We were able to text him at any time of the day and he would alway respond even if it was late at night. Once we were happy with the design and placed the order the delivery was within three weeks.The fitter, Nicky was also excellent. We would definitely recommend Roomsense.

Buying a quality kitchen is a must for most people this and ensuring it is fitted by a competent contractor recommended by the company is a must. However when things go wrong it’s a Total nightmare .

Fittings measurements for my lazy corner and 500 unit along with the cupboard over the fridge were incorrect sized, this led to make shift cutting down to make them fit. Rough cut shelves and unit replacement still outstanding. Lazy corner no longer self closing , all in all a poor fit out. Replacements delivered very quickly but despite chasing no appointments to put it right has been forth coming. We are now almost 6 months in. I have now given up and will get my own builder in to sort it out.

I am disappointed as the sales staff I dealt with were very helpful and apologetic ( beware you can hear others in the background who are quite frankly quite rude) they tried to resolve my issues with the fit out, however I still have the cupboard waiting to be fitted so I guess they were not that good.

All in all the experience has been very stressful and uncomfortable and I would not want anyone else to suffer a similar fate. So I can not and would not recommend room sense as a supplier and would suggest customers opt for another supplier

HI Please read the following email form roomsence which they are threatening me , Because my Gas hob is dangerous when we cooking as they are playing with our life, and said they don't do anything ,So, before buying Rooms and Kitchens from Roomsence please read first this reviews and then buy.
I have evidence and photos of Gas Hob which is very dangerous .

You have a problem with your gas hob which is an appliance and was fitted over two years ago.!!! As you are fully aware any appliance is covered under a manufacturer’s warranty if it is still valid.

All consumers should register their appliance as per the details provided with the instructions no matter where they have purchased it from.

Note that most appliance manufacturers only provide two year warranties. Your hob would be extended to a 5 year warranty if you had registered the appliance as you should have done.

Since you already know the above then the question should be why do you feel the need to write a review that is not true unless it is to false us to deal with as you know that the problem with the hob is not a manufacturing defect



We know from passed experience that a review of this nature could result in loss of business in the first four weeks of between £15,000 to £35,000 per week. We also know from experience that the courts would award the average figure of as compensation of approx 60-70% .



We extimate that over the next four weeks a total of between £60,000 - £140,000 loss of sales may result directly from your false review.
