Thank you BETH COONEY what an amazing experience for Gary's 60th birthday surprise. Having no experience of safari destinations, Beth's recommendations was above and beyond what we expected. We stayed at Bayethe tented Lodge in south africa, wow this place was so incredible everything about it, accomodation, food and team.
The second part of our trip was in Mauritius after a fabulous safari, a lovely relaxing beach location.
Again Beth couldn't have chosen better, as if she knew us personally and my dreams to surprise Gary.
From beginning to end and beyond the personal service Beth gave us was incredible.
We left our video camera at shamwari which was first part of our trip, bit only realised once we got to Mauritius. We emailed Beth to say we had misplaced our camera and could she on our behalf contact them for us.
Absolutely no exaggeration within 10mins we had a reply, she had been in contact and they had found it, and would be posting it to our home address. We have received the camera all the way from south Africa.
How devastating would it have been to have lost those memories. Thank you Beth and thank you too true honesty from the team at shamwari.

Alex organised an amazing honeymoon trip to New Zealand for us. All the way to the other side of the world and everything was organised perfectly with no problems at any stage in terms of bookings etc. Had the trip of a lifetime!

Fantastic service from this company with our advisor Danielle Horwood. A few hiccups at the beginning of our trip through no fault of hers. Everything went smoothly otherwise, transfers, flights, beautiful hotels, and assistance for me at airports,I have mobility problems. We will definitely be using them again

So, I had a bucket list of iconic places around the globe that I wanted to visit, and researched the best partner to help me realise this dream. I came across the Round The World Experts team who were simply brilliant. More specifically Claire Whitcombe.
I was a female traveller embarking on my first ever solo trip over several months across America, Australia, Asia and Africa. I had an initial chat with Claire and she came back with an amazing adventure which included group tours in a few countries where I met other solo travellers (now good friends); hotels almost tailored to my preferences in great locations with amenities perfect for me (as if Claire had known me for years) and airport pick-up and collections which helped alleviate the stressful airport process. Claire briefed me on all visa requirements for the multiple countries (other companies do not) and was always available when I contacted her whilst away.
I cannot recommend these guys enough. The service received was exceptional which is what you expect when trusting a third party to deliver the dream that you saved to materialise. Thanks Claire

I would just like to thank Oliver Willis from the Manchester branch for all the help with booking and planning our trip to Thailand. Me and my friend have just got back from traveling Thailand after we met Oliver at the Travel exerbition in Manchester in February where we had told Oliver what we would like to do and he planned everything out for us perfectly. It was such an amazing experience and we couldn't have done it without the help of round the world experts. Everything ran smoothly from our flights to transfers to trips. We had a great experience with this company. I wanted to go to Japan but didn't know much about where the best places to go were, our advisor Oliver Willis was amazing. He put together an excellent itinerary and matched it to our budget and the hotels he chose were in the best locations, right in the centre of everything (our Tokyo hotel was a landmark in itself!). They were always available for help or clarifying the details of the holiday, we won't hesitate to book with them again!

Firstly I would like to thank all of you for making our trip an immensely enjoyable and a truly memorable one. You all do a fantastic job!!! Please forward this to your respective line managers, as I very much believe your high quality of work should be acknowledged.
Below are some points which may be helpful to your company.

I know we flew Economy, however I would not personally fly with Jet airlines again. Having flown with other airlines; I don't believe the quality of service was very good; for example the headsets were not reliable and the food was poor.

Buffalo tours taxi service was excellent; always leaving a confirmation note the night before. Very well organised.

Chiangmai
Centara Khum Phaya resort was excellent; the service was incredibly gracious and the surroundings absolutely stunning!!!
It might be useful to let future clients know they can book amazing authentic Thai shows every evening from the reception desk. The show we watched was visually stunning coupled with beautiful music.

The Flight of the Gibbon was fantastic, very safe, excellent guides which finished with exquisite food. We even saw a gibbon!

Phuket
Hotel Karon provides a range of facilities as well as breakfast and dinner. The meals were of a good quality; however, the hotel had quite a commercial feel to it, very different to our experience in Chiangmai. It did have a very good location to the beach only 7 minutes walk away.

The boat trip to the islands was good; however, the trip to Phi Phi beach was very crowded. Wondering whether Buffalo Tours can stagger their trips to this island as it would make the visit more enjoyable. As soon as we left , so did everyone else and this beautiful beach was left empty ! The snorkelling was mind blowing!!

Elephant Hills
The entire trip was awesome, getting so close to the elephants and trekking through the rainforest was just amazing!!! The surroundings of the campsite was truly breathtaking! I would have loved to have been there longer. The food was excellent.

I don't know if it would have been possible to have had an earlier flight from Phuket to Bangkok as we had a five hour wait.

Bangkok
The trip to the floating market and the railway market was amazing! The colours the incredibility of a market on a working railway line, makes ones mind just boggle. This was an excellent suggestion: thank you. We went to a great restaurant called 'the Mango tree', about 9 minutes walk from the Royal Sheraton. Live music & excellent

I first contacted around the world experts in 2016 and was pleased to get a reply back from Harriet Lloyd. She helped us plan our 2017 holiday to Canada (Banff to Vancouver) for my 30th birthday.
It is not somewhere we had been before and she helped us plan a route.
Harriet did an amazing job from start to finish and all the places she recommended we went to whether that be a day out or places for eating.
It is nice to chat to someone that clearly cares about your holiday experience and not just wanted to take our money. She did not have to tell us about viewing points, waterfalls etc to see on our travels that could be easily missed, but she did. We are now back in contact to help plan our next adventure. Thank you

We booked a family holiday with Emma Diamond in June 2017 to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket. Emma recommended all the hotels, which were all perfect for us and chosen carefully. We loved the river boat from the hotel in Bangkok and the infinity pool at the top of the hotel had views over the city we will remember for a very long time. The villas in Phuket overlooking the sea were beautiful. All the flights, transfers and trips ran like clock work and it was a fantastic trip. Emma answered all emails immediately,sent an excellent itinerary and called yesterday to see how the holiday went. Thank you Emma - we loved it!

I booked a trip for my family (4 of us). But a week after paying for the trip I was being offered alternative hotels because the one of a number I'd paid for originally had been fully booked. I argued that it would not be fair since I'd paid within the deadline and that the should not sell what they do not have reserved. No, I had to choose amongst the alternatives or get a refund for that particular hotel (out of the several we'd booked from San. Francisco to San Diego in an over £11K west coast trip).
By the way, at the booking stage- before payment- they tell you there's no particular breakdown of the cost of individual parts in the package but miraculously I was then being offered a refund for the over-booked hotel and my demand for a full refund was declined even though we were more than two months before the travel date which fell in a supposedly busy holiday season.
It's all very friendly nicely, nicely and high sales pressure to get you to commit and pay thereafter you are at their mercy. Beware.

Our 30th anniversary trip around Thailand and to Singapore was planned by Emma Diamond at Round the World Experts.
We had a great time! All tours and transfers ran without a hitch and the hotels were spectacular!
We would recommend the company if you want a worry free, well organised holiday of a lifetime.

Our trip to Singapore / Bali was organised by Emma Diamond and she did a first class job. Her recommendation of an alternative hotel in Singapore to our preferred choice of the Marina Bay sands Hotel was perfect and made the trip even more special.

All in all a very good service with the right level of support / communication throughout.

Great experience with Warren Jackson - Manchester branch.
Family holiday to S Africa.
He was happy to let us book our own hotels when he couldn't find them. Also let us book our own flights if they were cheaper.

I liked the honesty regard to the pricing.

Also had some hassle from AVIS in S. Africa trying to charge me extra for no reason. Warren dealt with it brilliantly - he sent me a refund for the extra charge and dealt with AVIS direct.

We booked our once in a lifetime holiday with this company!
And you better believe it was once.
This company didn't book our return flights.
We were in Thailand and had no flights home!! This was our honeymoon so expected smooth sailing and it was the most terrifying experience we've had on holiday! I'm so angry that we booked and spent all that money to be treated with such incompetence. We had to buy our own flights to Bangkok after paying £3400!!!!!! Then missed the connection, then needed to get a later flight back home.
No apology from the company afterwards! Disgusting. Avoid like the plague!!! You have been warned.
And after reading some Facebook reviews this is not the first time this has happened!

I have had a great experience planning my holiday with Steph Eagell. She has been really fantastic. I am travelling with work and wanted this holiday to be an extension of my work trip so have been liaising with work and Steph to try and figure out the best way to do it. It took a while as I was waiting on work getting back to me, but Steph kept all the details and held onto flights as long as she could and was so helpful she replied to every email so quickly with new suggestions and offering to look into other things, I don't think this holiday would be happening if it wasn't for her being so on the ball and responsive.
