Round the World Experts Reviews 

So I have never used this company before, but a friend of mine booked their honeymoon to Thailand through RTW Experts and so I contacted them.
I spoke to Steph and told her I wanted to go to Bali. We then decided to add a few stops on the way to Dubai (3 nights) and Bangkok (2 nights). I told her the dates I had in mind and she went away and sent me an itinerary.
After researching the hotels etc, I went back and asked to change certain hotels / dates etc.
Steph was very patient with us. Nothing was too much of a bother and she was very good in offering her advice and guidance.
In the end we booked Dubai for 3 nights, Bangkok for 2 nights and Bali for 9 nights across 2 resorts (Seminyak and Ubud). I was impressed with the competitive price and so were friends I told too.
The hotels were all beautiful and well located. As well as that, the transfers between airports and hotels were prompt and reliable, letting us just relax and enjoy the time we had in each place.
I have recommended Steph and RTW Experts to friends and people I have met on my travels and I will not hesitate to use them again!

We booked multi city flights with RTWE and were really impressed with their professionalism and communications.

Awful. Do not use.
They will just sell sell sell. They will try and get money on the flights which you can obtain for much less elsewhere. Also they will pester you and pester you even if you just had a simple query.
Don't use. Go elsewhere or book your own flights.

Extremely helpful from start, during and at the end of the trip. Went above and beyond our expectation. Easy to contact and made the trip even more special. Listened to what we were looking for and came back with good suggestions and also made contact with the hotels to make our stay even better. Flights and transfers were easy, no issues there. From Landing in Thailand, until we left. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend them and will be booking our next trip with Round the World Experts.

AVOID!! All seems fine at first..helpful and competitive quotes (ish)..but as soon as you pay your money then they can't be bothered! I had so many issues with my 6 month travel and they made everything so stressful with poor communication, and no admittance of any fault. Persistently redirected blame and very unhelpful!!!

We have used Round the World experts twice now. Once over Xmas and new yrs 2017 in Thailand, then recently May 2017 in Vietnam. Both great experiences. We had Dan Marsden as our tour expert, whom offered great help and assistance planning our trips.
Will definitely be planning another amazing journey in 2018 with Dan !

This was my first time booking with an online agency for a holiday, and I was beyond impressed! It was fantastic to have everything, like transfers and trips, pre-arranged for you so there was no stress.
The adviser who I was in contact with (Rosanna B) was beyond helpful and put all my questions and nerves at ease. She listened to everything I wanted in my trip and helped me make a holiday that was truly unforgettable! I would definitely book with them again!

We booked our 2 week stay in Australia with Rosalind Williams, and I must say, the service we received was excellent. Roz was very knowledgeable, and upon hearing just a basic overview of what we wanted to do in Australia, tailor made a trip to suit us. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone; they offer superior service to competitors from my experience, and it appears the staff also have a genuine love of travel, so you can be rest assured that like minded people will be getting you the best experiences possible. I shall certainly be using RTW again.

I dealt with Stuart and everything was so smooth from start to finish - it was the first time I'd ever been this far from the UK or done anything like this, so I had lots of questions and Stuart was always happy to help. His recommendations were great as well and overall, the trip was just fantastic.

Amazing! Our month holiday to Borneo, Bali & Thailand could not have been more perfect. We didn't need to worry about a thing as everything was taken care of from flights, hotels to private transfers & excursions.
I couldn't find anywhere that could do a better deal either! Amazing prices & amazing staff at Round the World Experts.

We booked a package with rtwe consisting of flights with stopover en route from London to Auckland via Hong Kong. Rosalind Williams organised the whole package, including travel to and from the airport to the hotel in Hong Kong. The whole trip went extremely smoothly, the hotel accommodation was excellent, the transfers very efficient, even though on the return our aircraft was delayed. An excellent service which I would not hesitate to recommend. We shall definitely use round the world experts again.

We had some complicated flights to organise and Robyn was excellent and so efficient aiming to get us the flights that suited us and where we needed to be. Her attitude was great and she was interested in our plans.This is our fourth time of booking with RTW or the Flight Centre and we have never been disappointed.

Borneo trip
It felt like this trip was organised by somebody who not necessarily been in that area themselves and couldn't give us 100% quality time. We spend too much time in Kota Kinabalu and was rather boring (this place is far away from any paradise -apart from few beautiful island around, sadly most of it are covered in rubbish as local people use ocean as dust bin).
we have asked for small, boutique hotels , full of charm and not necessarily any luxury , but got ended in one of the busiest Kota Kinabalu Hotels. Although Breakfast was amazing.
First two days we spend in Mount Kinabalu park , but to be completely honest you could visit it within 2hours , so we felt as we wasted 2 days of pressures holiday time.
Local Village experience was lovely. Would recommend!
We enjoyed staying in natural lodge - food was amazing, local guides looked after us really well, boat trips were adventures and we seen a lot of wild life including orang-utan.
I wished to visit Borneo island for a long time, but I have to admit it really disappointed me, and I believe we could get a lot more out of this trip if person who arranged itinerary for us, would listen more careful our request and type of holidays we enjoy.

I stumbled across Round The World Experts whilst trying to decide what I wanted to do for a holiday this year. I was looking for something different and HOT! I was looking at package holidays and could find nothing that fitted in exactly with what I imagined that I wanted to do!
This company called Round The World Experts kept popping up in my searches. I eventually went onto their website and initially just did not take in or believe the claims that they were making about how easy it is to plan your own holiday.
I eventually picked up the phone and discussed my ideas with Lena Groeger. She was so very informative and knowledgeable that she actually excited me about creating and booking the holiday of our life time thus far. Within the space of a 45 minute phone call I had everything planned including 3 x tours to be taken at each of the 3 places that we would be staying at.
Do not be put off by believing that you are stuck with package holidays! For roughly the same price we have lived the dream for 16 days.

A family of six, ranging in age from 3 to 65, we used the company to plan and organise our 12 day holiday in California, covering 4 locations. Everything was superbly well done, queries were answered immediately , the hotels chosen were excellent, in fact the whole holiday was wonderful. Our thanks to all concerned for helping us to have the holiday of a lifetime.

Booked with Round the World Experts and they were amazing. Helped me every step of the way and really listened to what I wanted from a holiday. I would recommend them to everyone and will be using them for my future holiday ventures without hesitation.

We contacted RTWE again as they helped us arrange a trip a couple of years ago and we were happy with their helpful service.
This year we had a 5 week trip visiting family in NZ before heading off to some of our favourite places in Australia We feel very lucky that Steph was our initial contact at RTWE as she was incredibly helpful and very patient in supporting us to ensure we had the best trip ever by immediately responding to our queries and making adjustments to our itinerary. She took on board the things we like (e.g pool and view) and offered great suggestions for places to stay and options for things to do.
We had several flights booked to make the best of our time in Oz and she managed to secure flight times to enable us to fully enjoy our time at each place
We went to Melbourne for the first time and Steph found a hotel that was perfect for us, central location with top floor apartment with great city views. We took up her suggestion of the lanes tour which we would highly recommend as it was the perfect introduction to the city and ensured we made the most of our few days there.
This was an important and exciting trip for us which we started planning nearly a year before our travel dates. Steph was there through the planning, keeping in touch and making adjustments when needed. E.g our sister decided to join us in Cairns and Steph booked her on the same same Kuranda train and sky rail tour as us ( which was amazing and we would also highly recommend)
We so much enjoyed our trip that we thought of Steph while we were away and sent her pictures and feedback; she really appreciated this and emailed back to say she'd shared this with her colleagues to enable them all to help others book trips tailor made for them.
We have no doubt that having Steph do all the background work, exploring options for us to choose from, enabled us to make the best of our holiday and we thank her very much for that

Thank you Kirsty for your help in arranging our recent trip to New York. From excellent flight timings - ensuring maximum use of time . To finding a lovely hotel in a perfect location. Was a great money saving idea to buy passes to various attractions in advance. It's s big city and can be quite overwhelming to New York newbies like us. Just wouldn't have been the same without your input.

Absolutely fantastic service, right from the planning stages, contact, updates, special requirements and tailor made extras. I was very impressed at the speed at which very enquiry I made was responded to and the personalised itinerary documentation that arrived. Having used a rival company for many trips in the past I was sceptical about changing, however, I will not look back and everything ran like clockwork. Brilliant.
