I was really shocked today to find out that after purchasing 4 tickets to the Highway Festival this weekend the 15th May at full price the Albert hall is giving up to six tickets free to blue light... See more

Popcorn at the Proms? Really?
Beautiful venue but Prom ruined by sound of people rustling and eating packets of popcorn which can now be purchased the RAH bars. Felt more like going to the cinema. Such a shame.

Waited 15 minutes in a telephone call queue on 13 July 2023 at 15:30 to speak to someone at the RAH booking / ticket desk. No queue information. Antiquated. Dreadful service. Hung up after 15 minutes.
Royal Albert Hall ticket scam
The whole Eric Clapton concert sold out after being in the online queue at number 500? Only the best seats available in the Rausing Circle which is near the roof! How can a 5,000 seat venue be sold out after only 500 people bought tickets? However, there are plenty seats available if you pay for a VIP experience. It's a scam to sell seats at £400-£500 each when it's advertised at £175.

Disappointed my daughter had booked two seats to see Cirque du soleil. When I arrival our seats where occupied plus they where not suitable for me because on booking my daughter did say when booking that due to my disability I need leg room which I did not have find it very uncomfortable to sit or move even though I enjoyed the production very much, we where offered alternative seats but it meant having a side on view( not what we booked
for) plus it would have been a some what difficult for me to access. I do hope that in future that all staff are made aware of people with disabilities..
Avoid Restuarant…raw chicken!
We ate at restaurant pre show and it was not good, chicken, on the bone, was raw…staff not bothered told us, ‘Chicken was water-bathed for 15 hours’. I said I didn’t care how long it was still raw on the bone, I took a picture but sadly no way to show on this review, also wine had excessive sediment, new glass given but…. We would NOT eat there again!
Circus soli every year BOX tickets
Circus soli every year BOX tickets
Always use the side entrance from the Italian restaurant
On arrival we always have drinks booked for the box - excellent service so we don’t have to leave the box. But if we do we can always go to champagne bar!
Circus soli is just so amazing people find imagitive new ways to show off skills threw strength skill and sheer bravery! Such a beautiful
Show!
Must see !
Great meal and Nutcracker experience
We had a lovely dinner at the newly refurbished Elgar Restaurant, and left our coats and things there for the Interval, where we had our dessert and after-dinner tea. Staff were fantastic. 3-courses ~£50: wine very pricey! But really added to the evening, relaxing to get to our seats for the Nutcracker and nice to go back to our table all set up in The Elgar at the Interval.
Brilliant service and organisation at this special venue.
Spectacular experience and great service from everyone there for a concert. Great deal of information regarding the history of this venue. Everyone so helpful.
Perfect all round apart from the restaurant
I have sung at the Royal Albert Hall many times and I have been to several concerts. Every time I receive excellent help from staff and each performance is mesmerising. It is an enchanting venue and certainly an experience you will remember for a very long time. However, if you book a concert around meal time, DO NOT go to the Verdi restaurant in the Royal Albert Hall itself. The food took almost an hour to come and it was cold and not enjoyable. I will certainly be eating elsewhere next time.
The Elgar Room at The Royal Albert Hall
The Elgar Room at The Royal Albert Hall
We were there on 19.11.22 for the late night Jez series.
On the RAH web it said there will be interval.the performance ends 11:30pm but very likely later. Something like that.
However on the night concert ended about 10:40pm no interval, bar closed … a rip off! It has ruined our evening!!! We were so angry we went home. ..

Attended the Robbie Williams concert on 6/11. Concert was fantastic but the RAH staff were very rude particularly in the bar next to Door 3. Incompetent doesn’t come close! Snarling young woman who took forever, clearly not happy in her job, told us “we don’t have any more wineglasses” so we had to suggest the plastic version which she seemed annoyed about then was sarcastic as we left. She’s let you down RAH. Oh and the Rose wine was Line vinegar !! Staff in the stalls area clearly hating their jobs and trying to bring the mood down thinking they’re police officers telling everyone to stay in their seats …. and generally looking very miserable all night. Again they let the RAH down … good job Robbie was brilliant!
ZERO view of the stage
Bought tickets for a show which were "restricted view". We had ZERO view, could not see the artist on the stage, nor could we see the large screen.
Total disappointment. We left before the interval.
Complained to customer services and their answer was "We endeavour to give an accurate representation of the expected view from seats and I’m sorry you feel we did not get it right on this occasion."
We could have sat at home and listened to the radio and saved a shed load of money.

Went to see Hans Zimmer/John Williams concert. Was fantastic.
Security and staff very pleasant. Only downside, not enough loos.
Shame to see others have not had the same great experience on different visits. Hopefully RAH take on these comments to improve the customer experience so nobody is ever disappointed.

So looking forward to my first ever visit..delayed 70th birthday, to see Gladys Knight, almost, £200 for 2 tickets. Gladys came on stage at 9pm, left just after 10!! No explanation. So very disappointed. Cannot afford return visit!!
mindblown at how good the customer service is!
Where do I start?
I traveled with my sister to see Bryan Adams, she has a deviated voice box meaning she finds speech difficult. They organised for her to be able to bring in a whiteboard and pens just in case she couldn't speak.
While we waited at the venue, the staff were lovely and so polite! We used the cafe and the toilets, which were impeccibly clean, and each time the staff were courteous and friendly.
The only down side is, we were there all day, and the security apologised that they had to check our bags each time we entered the building, then we had to be searched again when we entered the venue for the show, still best to be safe than sorry!
The security were hilarious, they organised a mexican wave and teased and joked with us fans all day
We were in the standing section, and boy was it hot! Mainly because you cannot stand still during a Bryan Adams show, it's just not possible!
Halfway through the show, my sister was taken very ill and asked to leave the auditorium. that's when the venue showed just how stellar they actually are. I was kept updated at all times, the head of security kept nodding at me and mouthing "she's fine, stay there, we got her!" and the medics were there in seconds!
The head of security asked another fan to pass on a message, it was just so loud, to tell me that my sister was being seen by medics, and the fans all stood patting my arms and holding my hands as they could tell I was frantic.
The security then gestured for me to to to him, and the most amazing thing I have ever experienced happened.
My sister and I were walked to a seated area directly overlooking the stage, the medic explained she had suffered a panic attack caused by heat, and the seated area was cooler.
We were treated like royalty and she was told what a brave and amazing woman she was.. by staff! I was literally in tears of gratitude!
What word means more than grateful? What expresses sheer thankfulness more than just thank you? If someone can tell me, I'd love to send it to the R.A.H and thank them properly!
You made one of the most important people in my life feel like a princess! I cannot thank you enough! Bless you all!
Treat their staff like slaves
Treat their staff like slaves, charge prices that honestly is daylight robbery.

Absolutely disgusting treatment from a security guard. We had been in the queue for 4 hours,he decided to bring the back of the queue to the front. So we ended up in several different queues and no where near where we should of been. He told us at 4pm we were all in the right line for door 1,then decided to sabotage everything. He is brash and rude, even discussing a private rape case with his colleagues in front of the 50 odd people that were in the queue with us in the first instance. Absolutely ruined our experience and I will be contacting the venue regarding this.

After being incredibly messed around by a ticket company (seetickets), I booked through Royal Albert Hall themselves, Paid £6 more per ticket for seats that were far far better than I had booked originally, it was so easy to book and staff have been nothing but helpful and efficient, compared to non existent from seetickets.
COVID
Show was excellent however i have received an notification from NHS covid appt now that the day when i attended to show i have been in close contact with someone with Covid!
I do understand we have to learn to live with Covid, however, the show was fully booked, all seats taken and there was no any Covid guidelines in place. We were sitting very close to others all through out the show.
Perhaps Royal Albert hall could look into putting some in place as none of us wants to attend lovely event and then pick up Covid from there.
