Incredible customer service Tuesday…

Incredible customer service Tuesday 15th Feb. Kind silver haired gentleman at box office helped us resolve an issue with our tickets when it became apparent that we had been sold incomplete E-tickets. We provided evidence of purchase and step by step proof of what we had done and the resulting tickets.
He reseated us and we had a great night. I feel in other venues we may have been turned away, wasting our travel accommodation and cost of tickets…. Thank you to the man in the box office for being so very human and offering us a solution, an understanding service and making our trip! Will tell everyone about him and our great night at the RAH seeing circus de soleil. Thank you

Bad entry policies

Please, you must make sure vaccinated patrons can also show negative tests, as PHE show the vaccinated are also transmitting. How can it be safe for someone who's unvaccinated to be in close proximity to someone who's vaccinated but hasn't had a test?
Having said this, whatever the motivation, I think the idea of random checks on a person's vaccination status is intrusive, and refusing certain people entry is divisive. I'm a RAH customer but now feel uneasy about returning. After all, if the music you curate is so often about breaking down divides, how can you so willingly be putting them up?

Rip off wine prices

Visited on 19/1/22 for the circ du soleil show. Very aggrieved at paying £9:75 for a small glass of wine. I challenged this and was informed the wine list offers bottles up to £100 to reflect the demographics of the clientele. How about reflecting value for money and not blatant profiteering to compensate for covid.

Zero compassion and poor customer service

My farther was diagnosed with cancer and the RAH refused to offer me a refund or credit to use for future performances.

They threw the terms and conditions of sale at me and told me to offer my tickets to friends !! When I asked them to reconsider after also reminding them I’m a loyal customer who costs the hall multiple times a year…. They simply ignored me !!

They need to learn to have some compassion and customer service. I’m so disappointed

My Father died during Covid

My Father died during Covid, I could not attend the funeral or say goodbye. With the small inheritance he left me I booked a box for my family to attend the Christmas carols at the RAH. I live in the Channel Islands and unfortunately I have had to cancel my trip to London due to Omicron. Everyone I booked with; the hotels, restaurants etc have given me a full, no questions asked refund without even knowing about my Father. The RAH was informed about my reasons for cancelling (Omicron) and where the money came from (my dead Father whom I didn’t even get to say goodbye to) and they refuse to give me a refund still. I would have expected them to show some compassion, but money is obviously all that matters to them.

Outrageous mark-up!

A friend has just purchased for us two tickets for one of the proms (British film music), and have been charged nearly £40 each, for the very top row, restricted view, and most of all, a printed face value of £9 each. Have always loved this venue, but appalled at this mark up. The tickets ask for public support following the post covid budget shortages, but with this exploitation by their ticket agents they certainly won't get it from myself and friends.

Christmas Booking being taken - Thanks

Christmas Booking being taken - well done Albert Hall. A little glimmer of hope on the horizon, booked tickets for the family, can’t wait for a little bit of normality back in our lives. Christmas wouldn’t be the same if it didn’t start at the Hall.

1 rude staff member spoilt a great day

Great venue, fantastic show (Cirque du Soleil) but one really rude difficult member of staff spoilt this wonderful day. There were 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 young children. My daughter was carrying the youngest aged 3 who was fast asleep in her arms: as she went to enter this woman refused to let her step over the threshold without seeing her tickets, she politely explained they were in her bag and if she could get out of the doorway there would be room to juggle child and get tickets out. We were the only visitors at door 4 so there was no pressure on her at all but she was as difficult and inconsiderate as possible, as there was no give from her we had to push in and then get tickets out. Other staff looked on embarrassed but not intervening.
Ate at the RAH after show all other staff helpful and friendly.

Good Show

Christmas show excellent The meal before excellent however we arrived early our table was booked for 5.30 so we were asked to wait in the cafe. A cup of coffee serve in a waxed throw away cup was lukewarm the cafe started to fill up so we decided to use the toilets and slowly make our way to the Elgar restaurant. Again we were told to wait I asked if I could use the toilet but I wasn’t allowed to and I had to wait just as well I wasn’t desperate. It wasn’t till we kicked up a fuss that we were finally allowed to use the facilities. I did complain I objected to be treated like a naughty child. I will think twice about returning but will use a restaurant off site where you are treated like a respected customer

The classical spectacular

The classical spectacular was amazing, just like the last night of the proms. All the very British music, flag waving and cannon fire.
A joyful experience which was clearly enjoyed by all.

Very good venue

Very good venue. Can be very busy like anywhere else. The only thing I would complain is possibility to get some snack or drink during the shows. It is impossible as too busy and too expensive.
