Sadly less than 24 hours the zip face and neck hood has ripped for an honest review they are to fin and fragile, my horse lives out in a 9 acre field with Ditch all the way around so no trees or fencing to rip it on but sadly how it has, imagine if a horse in a stable or off in trailer ready for competition was to wear one to be able to catch on may things it would just be a waste of money! Won’t let me add photos!

Awful customer service sent a rug back that “went missing” and was never refunded for it then suddenly my emails were blocked.

A company that has brilliant rugs and even better customer service. Having ordered a few times previously I opted for a lightweight detachable neck and rug (all of my other rugs had been combos). The rug was a great fit but unfortunately the neck didn’t sit quite right on my boy.

I contacted Ruggles to which they offered advice and I was assisted with a return/exchange of rug. I opted for a 100g combo instead and it arrived within a few days and is a perfect fit. All of the rugs that I have had from Ruggles have lasted really well, keep my boy dry and warm and are a really nice fit for a really reasonable price.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and the rugs have lasted better than some of the larger/more expensive branded rugs that I have had.

Top notch customer service. I bought a hay feeder ball/boredom breaker recently which although a little time consuming to stuff does absolutely what it's designed to do. I had a little issue, contacted the company and issue sorted very quickly and politely. Very satisfied customer. Well done Ruggles

The 50g and 100g rug I purchased are clearly well made, the straps and clips are high quality. It is noticeably heavier than other brand rugs of the same weight which I guessed was due to the 1200D proofing maybe. What really lets the rug down is the detachable neck. The Velcro attachments are very high up the neck leaving the bottom half to flap around in the wind. My horse came in with a wet neck as a result. It also digs into her neck when she leans down to graze. I used their size guide and ordered the neck recommended so I was disappointed. Also when I called to double check the delivery time frame, I was met with a rather condescending response from someone who seemed quite put out that I’d felt the need to ask. I asked as I have been let down by “next day” deliveries in the past by other companies. It left a bitter taste to be honest and I didn’t feel like I could then call about the ill fitting neck. It’s a shame because the rugs are good quality.

Brought a heavy horse turnout rug, horse wore it one night in his stable and the rug was fit for the bin the following day, he's not a rug wrecker but the way it ripped showed the poor quality, really disappointed and was not a cheap rug!

Lovely company with amazing customer service. I bought a rug from them recently and the fit was a little wrong so they did everything they could to help me find the right size and organised an exchange for me. The new rug is perfect, will definitely be using their rugs again

Lovely, well made rugs at a reasonable price. They fit my Connemara perfectly!

Bought a lovely rug for my shetland, fits like a glove. Soon after purchase, the Velcro seam became detached when I tried to attach the neck cover.
I contacted Ruggles on the Monday and by Tuesdays afternoon a new rug was at my door with prepaid ticket to return the faulty one. Excellent service

I have been buying horse rugs for more years than I care to remember. Our current three horses are all rescues and are all elderly veterans. The oldest is a 35yr old ex racehorse, we have his 30yr old brother and, last year, we rescued a 26yr old Shire x heavweight hunter with horrendous sweet itch, amongst other health issues. Of all the rugs I have brought, I consider, Ruggles the best of the best. They fit beautifully, are of exceptional quality and are very good value. This morning our 30yr old managed to get himself cast in his stable, if it were not for the quick release clips over the chest we would have had to cut the rug from him. As it is, both he and the rug are intact and in perfect condition. Please, never change the quick release clips they have proved to be excellent in everyday use but especially in the situation I have mentioned. The service, delivery and quality means I will not buy rugs from anywhere else. Thank you.

I ordered a fly mask for my ‘between sizes’ Welsh A. I’d ordered in the past and the exchange process was brilliant as were the team I dealt with. The mask fits beautifully (Small pony) and I’m really pleased with it - as is Oscar!

Always an excellent service from Ruggles. I have a shetland pony with severe sweet itch so he needs about five fly rugs on hand so they we can repair them without him being turned out naked. Ruggles rugs do rip (no fly rug is indestructible) but the pony is a little monster for ripping them and drags his whole body over black thorn bushes etc. Ruggles definitely last the longest and give us time to rotate his rugs. Will continue to buy from them.

Great service when I was having problems with the previous website. Kept me up to speed with delivery due to boat not sailing to Isle Of Man. Brilliant service all round and I love the products.
