Excellent quality, outstanding value, quick delivery
Quick delivery, excellent rugs, well made. I especially like the tail 'skirt' and that once you've adjusted the fastenings to the right place, the straps are secured with a simple clip not buckles. Also, pleats for free movement of should etc. Bought one years ago and it's still waterproof. Excellent value and super quick delivery.

Best ever rug company
I've just invested in my second Ruggles rug and, yet again, they've surpassed themselves.
I needed a bigger size so sent the original back. Lo and behold within 3 days of them receiving my return, my new size arrived safe and sound.
The rug is beautifully made and shaped. The fabric is excellent quality as is every detail, strap and buckle.

Lovely rugs that fit my mini shetland perfectly.Have tried rugs form elsewhere before and even though they state for minis .They are not like dresses at the front .

Excellent service. Rug arrived 2 days after I put order in. This is the second rug I have bought and will definitely buy from Ruggles again. Rugs are very hard wearing with a large tail flap, which is a must in the far north of Scotland. Great value for money too.

Donkey rugs
The Shetland /donkey rugs. Well recommended for donkeys as fit so well.
The Rugs are made of good strong quality fabric with strong straps too.
I was able to remove the legstaps ( great idea) as I only wanted to use the fillet strings on the rugs. If I decide they need a neck cover I know I can get one from you as the rugs have the Velcro ready( another great idea) to fit them to
I bought their first rugs from Ruggles 9 years ago when we took the 2 donkeys on in very poor condition. Now they have grown I thought it would be good for them to have bigger rugs and enjoy being outside more.
They love their new rugs and are so snug n cosy

The rugs are very well made
The rugs are very well made. Measurements are spot on, especially for the mini shetlands which are notorious for being awkward!! Rugs delivered quickly and also very friendly on the end of the phone. Excellent all round.

A hood that fits!
It is the first hood I have not had to send back. The size is perfect. What I have had a problem with is the faces have been too small, I have an arab with big cheeks, but there was no prob here. I would definitely recommend and buy again

Well, service was great as always. However, one item had fault (plastic clip on the neck cover did not work so I had to cut it off); I am not going to return the item as it is much hassle. It would be good if you could check items before posting to customers. Thanks

Good afternoon. Thank you for leaving a review. Had you contacted us to advise the item was faulty we would, as is our policy, have arranged to send a replacement and pay for the faulty item to come back. In any mass production situation there will always be the occasional fault or item missing which is why we have the replacement/collection policy. Most issues get picked up at quality control at the factory but the occasional one can slip through the net. Unfortunately to open every rug/accessory to check everything is perfect and repack would be very time consuming (probably a full time job for someone) which would inevitably push up the prices which we are trying hard not to do (despite rising costs) particularly at the moment. I am sorry that you feel let down on this occasion

Good quality and true to size
This is the third time I’ve bought rugs from Ruggles and they always seem good quality and fit true to size.
The main reason I bought from Ruggles initially was because of the large tail flap and trigger clip fastenings at the chest. The majority of other makes have buckles only and small tail flaps.For the price I was pleasantly surprised at the quality which is why I ordered again.
The first rug I bought 2 years ago is still going strong and is worn by a very enthusiastic roller.

Lightweight turnout combo…
Bought the lightweight turnout combo for my donkey. Fits him well. Very quick delivery and the staff were very polite and helpful when I phoned with a sizing query. Also bought the lycra donkey hood with ears which are a good size so he’s a happy donk now.

Thank you for the review. We have had half necks rugs in the past but it has been a difficult few years for manufacture. With regard to the colours we are trying to get two colour choices at least in all rugs but again due to the quantities of fabric we have to purchase per colour it takes time but hopefully 2023 will prove a little easier.

Great service I ordered to the wrong address resulting in it being returned to Ruggles but they turned it round to the correct address quickly. My wife and her heavy cob are very pleased with the rug which fits perfectly!
