I'm thrilled with my new Safefoam Ercol 478 cushion that arrived yesterday (ahead of when I was expecting it). I have recently sanded, revarnished and replaced the webbing on the chair and the cushion has brought it back to life again - it's so comfortable and fits perfectly.
I had brilliant customer service with all my queries via email when I was choosing a fabric and Joe was helpful and reassuring over the phone.
The quality of the product is excellent and I would highly recommend. Thank you!

I just wanted to write a review and give a big thumbs up to the Safefoam team. I enquired about purchasing a replacement Ercol seat pad, but wasn't sure about the model. Joe was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure that I had the right seat pad for my chair. Ordering was very easy and delivery was fast. We are currently renovating a house and as part of furnishing it we are utilising some inherited ercol furniture. While a bit dark for modern tastes it’s well made furniture that’s built to last and will do the job a lot longer than most things you get nowadays.

But they all had old cushions that were misshaped and at the end of their life. And as for the covers, well let’s just not go there. Ugly would be a compliment and the total package looked awful.

So we started looking for options to replace the cushions and covers accordingly. Safefoam came up a few times on searching the internet with good reviews, and price comparison beat all local options so we decided to try 2 chairs in light grey to contrast the wood and lighten them up. The cushions and covers arrived, fitted perfectly and transformed 2 ugly old chairs to desirable furniture. Our builders were as impressed as we were and stated that they could now see what we saw in them.

Being satisfied off we trotted to get the sofa, another chair, a foot stall and dining chair sorted in light grey too.
Again, great price. Again quick posting. Again great customer service. And again a great product received that has transformed some ugly old furniture to good looking well made pieces.

I would happily recommend safefoam to anybody looking for replacement covers and cushions for ercoll furniture. Using them is a cost effective option to utilise solid well made furniture for decades to come.

We are well aware that eventually we will need to replace covers as life and wear & tear take their toll. Eventually the same will trigger the need with cushions too. And when that happens we know where our first stop will be, it will be back to safefoam for good looking quality replacements.

Great communication, two seat cushions made to fit existing seat covers. Made and dispatched within 2 weeks. Very pleased with the way they fit and they are comfortable too!

We phoned up Safefoam this morning about a foam only purchase for an Ercol chair. We received great advice and when we asked if it was possible to get fast delivery, this too was accommodated.
Later in the day we received a phone call to confirm the Tracking Number.
Overall a very helpful and professional 5 star service!

Bob you're a star! I had a fantastic deal on my set of Ercol Studio Couch cushions and covers. Top notch workmanship, zips and stitching all perfect, foam just the right firmness. Not having done a refurb before I was a little nervous about who to use and did my homework, so only too pleased to find out my hunch to go with Safefoam was correct. What a fantastic company to deal with. Very impressed with the service, especially Jo who I inundated with phone calls and emails. I phoned in my order for cushions and covers for my Ercol daybed on Monday the 22nd of July and they arrived on the he 26th of July!! Very impressed with the speed of the delivery and the quality of the covers.

What a superb company. Easy to deal with by both phone and email with really prompt reply’s. Nothing was too much trouble, sent out fabric swatches and cushions arrived made from scratch in exactly a week. Superb quality at a reasonable price and exactly what our tired old ercol chairs needed. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again.

Safefoam made some cushions for my Ercol chair. Communication was brilliant and the cushions were produced quickly, but workmanship was not compromised, they were beautifully produced.

What can I say this company is the best. We had Cushions made for our Ercol Jubliee sofa, we supplied our own fabric and spoke In Depth to Joe one of the team and Helen who made the covers bless her for the cushions. I am delighted with them and they look beautiful. They even went above and beyond with their customer service and made an extra throw to put over in case our cat clawed it. I have just received my gorgeous cushions from this company, absolutely fantastic. They not only did my Ercol ones, but also custom made a pair for my1920’s Parker Knoll, friendly helpful service from start to finish.

May I just say that i looked on line and read reviews of a few companies before opting for Safefoam.

From my initial call with Joe I received sample materials with 2 days. Following a call with Helen who is obviously an expert in
her field I was sure I wished to proceed. Helen was keen to learn exactly what I
required and told me that if I had the original back cushions for my Ercol chairs that she would refurbish these including the button work front and rear. Music to my ears! My Ercol suite was bought back in 1981 has been well used and then in kept in the attic.
Decided it was too good not to use.
Within a month and at a super price we have just taken delivery of our stunning cushions for the 2 armchairs and the studio couch. Delivery man a delight too. Obviously a well run caring company. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

From the first contact up until and including the delivery, Safefoam's service was professional, efficient, prompt and courteous. The skill and excellent workmanship were apparent at every stage. There was a wide choice of materials, colours and style.
Our church members were delighted on arrival yesterday, to see the beautiful new pew cushions, and feel that the whole chapel has been given a newness and freshness, and they are most comfortable too.

this is the 3rd set of ercol cushions i have sent for new foam fillings - these as good as the others at a price that i believe to be more than reasonable for quality that is 100% and more - buy here with absolute confidence that you WILL NOT be dissapoined
