What it does it does well in terms of being simple to use and quick to pay out. However I was very surprised at how uncompetive it's products were. Loan rates offered were above market rates which was surprising given the work place is acting as a garantor. Also used the salary advance product which surprisingly doesn't pay all earnt income up to the point of application and just a percentage which limits usefulness as you can only really apply at the end of the month. UX is fine but did experience needing different log ins for different products at one point. So a mixed bag . Would like to see them work on how useful they are and be more competitive. Also a greater selection of salary sacrifice products would be useful. Overall verdict is could do better.

Really poor experience.

I have had two loans from this company previously, all paid on time and paid off early in some cases. I applied earlier this year, some 6 months after my last loan ended and was declined with no reason given.

When I queried this with them, they gave me the usual 'affordability and credit checks etc etc'. Despite the fact when you apply on their shambolic website it states it only uses credit agencies to check for your DOB/address etc and not your history. For what it's worth I have a good history.

So I am baffled by their decision but ultimately accept it. It has been several months since, and yet when I log on to reapply I am just met with the same declined message from several months ago.

Their website is unusable at the best of times, countless errors and bugs. Their customer service team are slow to respond and unhelpful.

I'll be using my influence at my employer to stop the link between us and this company as it is not fitting of a company that should be in partnership with my employer.

Salary finance is a the best former for when things are very tough and I need money some money ASAP. I don't have to phone around and ask people or relatives who are also struggling at most times. I just log into my account and get my advance. No hassle at all. I love it . I to best thing from my Company of Employment. Brilliant.

Always quick service easy to use great when you have a unexpected bill

I thought it was not real but after completing the form and submitted my request all went through and I got approved,,, that was quick and easy and I was happy in the end.

How brilliant I started a new job and have to travel in every day for the next 5 weeks while I train it cost £11 a day to travel to and from and I had no money and SF helped me to keep this job wow wow wow and big thank you I really do not know what I would have done with you, I signed up on Monday evening and by Tuesday the money was in my account literally got it 10mins after requesting it amazing I recommend SF to anyone.
