Sandicliffe was formed on Nottingham Road, Stapleford in 1948, starting out as a small garage and workshop where our founding members, Richard Woodhouse and Henry Barton, worked tireless hours to service and repair the cars of Stapleford. 70+ years later, Sandicliffe has expanded to an award-winning motor group, managed under the same family values as it was in 1948. Since then the company has become one of the East Midlands’ most trusted and recognised brands. The company has now grown to 7 locations across the East Midlands including Nottingham, Leicester, Loughborough and Lincoln. From these locations we represent Ford, MG, Mazda, BYD, Xpeng, GWM and Maxus and offer new as well as used car and van sales, servicing and repairs, MOTs, parts. accident repair/ bodyshop services and Fleet. We are still run and managed today as a family business, Sandicliffe has achieved countless awards including Best Customer Care, Best Customer Offers, Best Marketing and Most Environmentally Aware.

I am extremely disappointed with the experience I’ve had at Sandicliffe Loughborough. I bought a car here in March, paying outright for what I hoped would be a reliable "forever car." While the staff were very helpful when taking my money, the aftercare has been shocking.
Just eight months after purchase, the engine and turbo failed completely, leaving the car fit only for scrap. When I contacted the dealership for help, I was simply told it was "out of warranty" and they washed their hands of the situation.
More concerningly, my independent mechanic has since confirmed that despite being sold with a "Full Service History," the car had never actually had a full service in its life. It appears Sandicliffe merely topped up the oil, stamped the book, and ignored the actual maintenance needs of the vehicle.
I trusted a reputable dealer to be honest about a vehicle's history and condition. Instead, I’ve lost my hard-earned savings. Please be very careful before buying here; they are great at the initial sale, but once you drive off the forecourt, you are on your own.

I found the perfect van through Sandicliffe. I was so impressed with the service, from making contact and the van being delivered along with all documents sorted was done within the week. Joe did a fantastic job in making it such a smooth purchase without having to come up to Nottingham from Bournemouth prior to buying the vehicle. Many thanks.

I have just replaced my 5 year old Mazda CX-30 with a 2025 ex-demonstrator. Brooke Smith who handled the sale has only recently joined Sandicliffe but she provided an unsurpassed level of service. The deal was done in 24 hours. Brooke provided a very professional video and in truth I could have bought my new car online but a test-drive is always worthwhile. Both Brooke and her Manager were most business like in their approach to the sale. The formalities were conluded very professionally and the ambience in the Leicester showroom was excellent - and everybody was very helpful. The only problem was in the paying - the last time I bought a car elsewhere I paid using my Debit Card which on this occasion was not possible. I do not use mobile banking and my Bank were unhelpful when I rang from the Showroom. My advice would be always check about acceptable payment methods beforehand. Fortunately a solution was found and I drove away very satisfied and happy with my purchase from Sandiciffe Mazda, Leicester.
Sandicliffe need to hold on to Brooke Smith's services for she is a diamond.

Went into Sandicliffe MG Lincoln this morning (12Jan) as my windscreen washers were not working on my MG HS and was unsure where fuse box was. Saw a gentleman on reception (sorry did not get name) explained to him washers not worked since all the snow last week. He said common problem took my car keys and took car up to garage repair area. I heard lady on reception speaking to someone on phone stating some mechanics were off sick. Gentleman came back about 10 minutes later said he had tested my car and replaced the front and rear fuses and screen washers were both working fine. Cost zero"……….. its not very often someone goes out of there way to do something outside job remit Easy job to change fuses if you know where to look but a real pain for customer if they have to wait and book car in with mechanic in about a weeks time and loose car for half day. Remember it’s the little things you don’t teach that makes a difference and deserve 10/10 for customer service.

Monique and Ranj were great and made the whole process seemless from seeing the car all the way to picking it up!

First off, there was no courtesy car available (there never seems to be), and the service centre is the opposite side of town to me, which meant getting there early so I could catch the train back in time to start work. On arrival I was told it may be a couple of days in the shop as they may have to order parts once they'd diagnosed the problem (suspected water pump bearings, that's all) I accepted that, although I must admit, it seemed strange that without even looking at the car that was already on the table, anyway, I left the car. Later that day (14:37 to be precise) I get a call telling me that the car will need further diagnosis and it will definitely be staying the night. I asked what they had found so far, and with a little more digging, it turns out they'd not even looked at the car, and it seemed they weren't planning on doing so that day. The reasoning behind this was that they had 2 people off sick so they were behind on things, apparently they new this when I dropped the car off but chose not to tell me. If I'd have known I would have re-scheduled, partly because I'd rather the car not out of action for two days, and partly because if they were behind, it would have helped on their part.
I'm just frustrated that I wasn't given the correct information right from the off. I wasn't told they would need the car for at least 2 days until I dropped it off (which turns out is more to do with their personnel problems more than lack of parts), which is really inconvenient, and if it runs into 3 days it will be completely unacceptable. Not sure where the guy is that used to be on the desk, his customer service was first rate. not so much now. Not Impressed at all. EDIT, turns out it was the belt and tension arm, for which they have relieved me of £700 for and will keep the car for 3 days because apparently main dealers dont hold stock anymore.

I recently purchased a Mercedes GLA from Sandicliffe Loughborough and had a fantastic experience overall. The entire dealership team were friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout. In particular, Richard Doolan, Simon Lovell, and Kamran were outstanding — their professionalism and support made the whole process smooth and enjoyable.
I did raise a couple of queries with Richard, which he has assured me he will address when I am ready. One concern was around the dealership warranty: I was initially advised it was a standard one-year warranty, but later informed that it was actually five months of remaining manufacturer warranty.
Despite this minor issue, I would still happily recommend Sandicliffe Loughborough to anyone considering purchasing a vehicle.
