Sandicliffe was formed on Nottingham Road, Stapleford in 1948, starting out as a small garage and workshop where our founding members, Richard Woodhouse and Henry Barton, worked tireless hours to service and repair the cars of Stapleford. 70+ years later, Sandicliffe has expanded to an award-winning motor group, managed under the same family values as it was in 1948. Since then the company has become one of the East Midlands’ most trusted and recognised brands. The company has now grown to 7 locations across the East Midlands including Nottingham, Leicester, Loughborough and Lincoln. From these locations we represent Ford, MG, Mazda, BYD, Xpeng, GWM and Maxus and offer new as well as used car and van sales, servicing and repairs, MOTs, parts. accident repair/ bodyshop services and Fleet. We are still run and managed today as a family business, Sandicliffe has achieved countless awards including Best Customer Care, Best Customer Offers, Best Marketing and Most Environmentally Aware.

Another great experience buying a new Ford Puma. Danny Randall was, as always, extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable and the whole experience of changing from manual to automatic was easy. Very pleased so far with our new car and loving the quirks such as being able to stand indoors and turn on the heaters and blowers to warm the car up whilst it still being locked.

Multiple issues with this company buying a car.
My story would border on writing a book in this experience.
One thing for sure is aftercare by the Nottingham ford dealership is extremely poor.
From initial contact over purchasing a car to now I would not recommend this company I do actually wonder if they actually check cars before they put them on the forecourt.
Now looking on here they may have an ok score but how many recent reviews are of a similar experience to mine.
11 days since the car was returned not even a courtesy call which was promised by Aaron after raising serious concerns also surrounding an outside company collecting my car from me the 2nd time an witnessing my car being used after 11pm at night by said company because it was not taken straight back to sandicliffe. Again was promised courtesy call to make sure i was happy with rectification work carried out by themselves for the 2nd time after they're own bodyshop didnt get work right the 1st Time.
But nothing even after everything that happened with my car so be cautious buying from them they constantly break they're own promises and that's senior management also.

I was sold a completely bodged car that was NOT road worthy whatsoever, clearly no “AA assured” checks were performed. My car has been written off due to previous damage after only 4 months of ownership, and was sold to me as an undeclared category S! I’ve been without a car now for weeks, having paid in full up front for the car, and I have received no apology, action, or compensation for this from Sandicliffe Loughborough. Do not put your trust in the assurances made.

This 5 star is for MARIA SARNO the fantastic MOTABILITY SPECIALIST @the Nottingham FordStore. She is a shining example to be followed in how to be a top class sales executive. Professional, prompt with replies, frequent vehicle updates, slick, smooth and seem less Handover. Fully explained all the Ford Kuga new features. She is kind and also very understanding of her customers ‘needs’. Always has a friendly smile and and lovely demeanour. Maria Sarno is a true asset to the Fordstore and should be appreciated, celebrated and given the true respect from her colleagues and managers for her experience, knowledge and expertise. Thank you Maria. You are a legend.

I have been with Ford for the last 9 year. I have a mobility car and my advisor Maria, is amazing. I went to see her today and she always makes things right.
For all the years I have gone to her she always, looks after me, I see her with other customers and she is 100% dedicated to her customers.
When getting a car on mobility she is the go to person.
Dedicated, honest, reassuring, and always keeps you up to date.
Thank you Maria for all your support. x

So my wife was interested in an MG, EV and wished to take a test drive. On request via E mail to Sandicliffe Lincoln MG for a test drive, they replied re date, time and model? This was replied too but MG did not organise or reply to the answers to their questions. A few days later wife had to chase them up and arrange the test drive. This was done on Sat 21st March at 9.30am. On completion of the test drive it was discussed with the salesman re finance, cash deposit and other financial options. Due to the time she asked if all the information required could be Emailed to her, no problem apparently as this would be done on the Saturday and Emailed.
It is now Mon 23rd March, 1312hrs and still nothing. As such we have no confidence in this showroom and will be looking elsewhere.

Having ordered my car from MG in Leicester and being messed about with delivery dates, i contacted MG Loughborough and wished I'd dealt with them from the start!!
They were so much more helpful and professional. There customer service was outstanding. I will definitely be going back to re new my next car.
My parents also bought their car from Sandicliffe and experienced the same excellent service.

Extremely poor service. Cannot actually get to speak to anyone other that an external call centre operating from a script.
What should be a simple process to book a service literally becomes an impossible task.
Must be costing them a fortune in lost revenue.
Amazingly I have phoned to lodge a complaint, and they take the exact same details as before. Apparently there is no facility for them to lodge a complaint without your email address even though they maintain someone will call back ! Unbelievable.

Sandicliffe Leicester. Have brought our last 3 cars from Steve Hames at Sandicliffe Leicester and each time have felt that their number one priority is ensuring you get the right car for you. They don’t hard sell at all. Steve is great in making sure you are happy and get just what you want. The staff are friendly and you feel well looked after. Would highly recommend.

Bought a Ford Kuga from there Loughborough branch,
No nonsense asked for no sales patter or to be upsold anything,
Salesman was knowledgeable and the deal was done and I drove away in my new car in just over an hour.
Very happy with the service so far.

Exceptionally poor service over a period of a month. My car was under warranty and required the gearbox replacing; this was over the Christmas period. Information updates were rare unless I asked; a complaint brought promises from a manager who then failed to live up to them. In order to get a courtesy car (promised under the warranty) I had to contact the group manager. The repair took a month and the level of service didn’t improve. When I finally got my car back it was dirty, smelled of oil and even had cobwebs on the mirrors; the courtesy car was cleaned and polished inside and out. This was two months ago and I’m still waiting for a report on the work actually undertaken, the new warranties on the replacement part and an explanation for the poor service.
This is my fourth new Mazda and my last. Loyalty is demanded but not given.

Bought a 2nd hand MX5 from the Nottingham branch and had excellent service from Louie. I just wanted to say how much I am enjoying my new car and to thank Louie for his help throughout the process. It can be quite stressful buying cars but his friendly, professional approach made sure the experience was easy, uncomplicated and enjoyable.
Thank you again for making the experience as exciting as it should be - a new car is fun!

I recently purchased my car with Brooke and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, Brooke was friendly, approachable and really easy to talk to, which made the whole process feel relaxed and enjoyable rather than stressful.
She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable with everything regarding my car purchase. Nothing felt rushed or pressured, I really appreciated her smily professionalism.
Brooke’s warm personality and helpful attitude made it a genuinely positive experience. I’m really pleased with my car. I would happily recommend Brooke to anyone looking to buy a car.

Worst Experience and Service I’ve ever encountered.
I would highly recommend anyone considering buying a car from this dealer to exercise extreme caution.
Upon taking delivery of my Mercedes A- Class within 20 mins of my journey the engine oil level appeared, Assuming it only needed resetting as the dealer specified it had a fresh service prior to handover I didn’t think anything of it initially ( Incorrect )
The oil level was in fact at minimum.
Upon my journey home I also noticed the drivers side front ventilation was none operational and noises coming from underneath the car,
Upon inspecting underneath the engine under tray was loose which gives some insight of the type of so called prep and PDI checks this dealer operates with.
After multiple attempts of trying to contact the dealer I raised a complaint to the finance company within 1 week to address the issues.
I have requested a full refund/ Rejection at this point.
After 10 days Laura from MG contacted me to advise she will get a member of management to give me a call.
1-Week Later
Today I received a phone call from Rob in a very arrogant and condescending manner advising I must have damaged the car and caused the faults, He also advised I must have caused the oil leak? There is no oil leak Rob? Our complaint is reference to the lack of oil, Along with the Ventilation and under tray loose?
At this point it was clear I’m dealing with an untrustworthy dealer with bad cowboy tactics.
It’s clear Rob had no intention of acting in the customers best interest nor is he aware of the consumer rights act 2015.
It’s clear Rob was trying to deflect blame rather than taking accountability for the issues and trying to get a conversation in without being spoken over is again disrespectful.
I would highly recommend an internal investigation/ Listen to the recordings to hear the Abrupt and disrespectful behaviour of how Rob Conducted himself with our Complaint.
I would also recommend anyone in the same situation to seek legal advise and exercise small claims court proceedings immediately due to the bad tactics I’ve experienced today.
