Successful branch meeting
Amber at the Galashiels branch was very efficient, courteous and professional when we visited . Much easier for my wife and I having our business done at a branch than trying to do things online.

I was greeted on entry and directed to a financial advisor.
The advisor was Lorraine at the Queen Street, Cardiff Branch.
I was advised that it would be advantageous to open an improved credit card with payback facility, previous credit card did not facilitate, and to open a monthly savings account that provided an excellent % savings.
Lorraine was friendly and very informative. I would recommend Santander to potential new customers.

Tammi made me feel very comfortable and at ease, everything was very well explained to me in simple language which I could understand, she showed me my online banking app. An how to transfer money from one account to, even wrote it down for me for reference later, a brilliant girl updated my accounts so now getting payed more interest. She was friendly and helpful.

She also outlined numerous new products that could be of interest to me.
She backed this work up by providing paper confirmation and also showing me the changes on screen.

Brilliant customer service from Aaron.Had to pop into Santander Hammersmith…
Had to pop into Santander Hammersmith today to get some back dated statements for benefit purposes. Whilst in the queue a member of staff passed me and smiled. I asked if I could ask him a question and he replied 'sure' and took me into a small office.
His name was Aaron. and he listened to my concerns. He was so friendly, helpful, down to earth and sorted out my problem/ concern immediately.
I was dreading going into the branch, with lots of peole and having to discuss with the cashiers of what I needed and for why, but once he was helping me my anxiety immediately disappeared.
Im not sure what his role is within the bank, but his customer service skill were impeccable! ( good old fashioned morales)
He made me feel like a very valued customer and I left the bank feeling so happy, listened to and dealt with effectively with no fuss.
Aaron is truly a credit to the Hammersmith branch of Santander.

In branch services have become a joke they close at 3pm and are usually under staffed with lots of wait times if you walk in the staff there seem to be friendly but the over all service brings it down

We're sorry to hear that your experience hasn't fully met your expectations. We know that queues and waiting times can be frustrating, especially when you need to get something done quickly.
Our branch opening hours have changed over time to reflect changing customer behaviour and the different ways people now choose to bank with us. For everyday transactions such as cash withdrawals and cash deposits, these can also be carried out at Post Office locations.
That said, we know our branches remain an important part of how we serve customers, which is why we've committed to keeping all Santander UK branches open until at least 2027.
We appreciate your feedback and are pleased to hear you've found our colleagues to be friendly.
