First class, promptly responded to my initial enquiry as which software would be required my E350 convertible. HD card quickly delivered followed be PINand instructions same day by email, David was extremely helpful happy to recommend and will use again in the future.

What could be better than perfect. I ordered a SD map card for my car for £79.99 which I might add at Lexus are three times the price, only to get a message from David at satnavmapupdate to say I had ordered the wrong card and that he would forward the correct one and refund £35 to my card.
Received my new SD card the following day I fitted it with no problem, what can be better than perfect.

Very helpful in aiding me to decide which chip I needed. Always fast responses. The chip works perfectly.

Updated my 2018 A6 Avant, adding Apple car play only took 20 minutes or so - updating the maps took a further 50 minutes.

Whole process was super easy, and the instructions were very simple to follow.

I was a tad sceptical at first but I needn’t have worried - it’s been a flawless process and I can now enjoy CarPlay whilst pootling along the M5!

I needed a map update for my BMW F20 and found satnavmapupdate. Great, the menu was easy to navigate and the options were clear, so I bought an online update with key; and it was a good price. A few hours later I had an email which said that I had selected the 'wrong' option for my car, mmmmmmm, OK. So, I parted with another £15 and got a download link. Dutifully I downloaded from the link and, as per instructions, attempted an 'unzip' to my properly formatted and clean Sandisk 32gb. I got error messages when I tried to do so. Back to square one - deleted all files, re-formatted and attempted the unzip again - using WinRar as recommended. Same result. Ah! A duff USB stick.................nope, another clean, new and formatted Sandisk was used with the same result so I requested that a preloaded USB be sent to me and paid yet another £15 for the privilege. So now I've spent £25 more than I would have spent if I'd bought from eBay. But..............the final solution worked fine, so at least that's a result. About me, I don't consider myself to be inept; I've managed the IT functions within local authority and in charitable organisations and.........checked out what I have done with two mates, one of whom was the IT manager for an Academy Trust and the other (mature student) is about to complete his degree in computer studies. The main result is that I have the maps I wanted, at a cost above what I would have paid elsewhere and I have yet another Sandisk 32gb memory stick lying around in a drawer. I didn't find David particularly helpful beyond asking for more money.

The whole process from initial purchase through to fully installed MMI and mapping was made much easier by the outstanding support given by David. No matter how complex the process seems, as long as you follow the instructions and guidance, its hard to go wrong. This is a service I will use again and am thankful for the support given and gratefully received

I bought a sat nav update, it didn’t work, so was advised to return the se card for a full refund. I returned the SD card. Still haven’t received my refund. I keep sending emails and I just not getting anywhere. Looks like I’ve been ripped off. Avoid this company.

I used this site to update the Sat Nav on my 2015 VW Touareg, which I bought just before Christmas, being 2015 a lot of road changes have occurred which the old system simply did not know. The order process was effective but I had mistakenly order the wrong version, it was not a problem, it was quickly exchanged for the correct version and I followed the clear instructions provided by Dave and the system is now fully updated and working, and the map’s & graphics are much clearer !

Wanted my VW compatible with Car App and found it was locked, needing an unlock key.
VW wanted £225 for the key and £25 to fit it to the car. Basically an SD card installation of software.

I looked around online for alternatives and found this site. They seemed to have the activator at a fraction of the price and so made my enquiries.

Having been satisfied, I made a purchase and upon arrival, it was installed in under 10 minutes, with full functionality.

All for £69.99.
Bargain.

What I will say though, is make sure you're using a lightening cable or decent high end data cable, otherwise your phone will likely not connect, as mine didn't (S21 Ultra), until I rectified this issue.

Would definitely buy from David again.

Ordered the Apple Car Play activation firmware update for my 2015 Audi A6 Avant. Fantastic comms and service from David.

Took about 40 minutes to update after getting into the hidden engineering menu (based on clear instructions received), which is super simple.

I recently bought a Audi Q7 and after having 3 A4's all with Android Auto I never bothered to check if the Q7 had it. Well.... It didn't. So as you can imagine living with Android Auto became the normal. I contacted Audi and asked how much it would be to have it put in the Q7 and they quoted me a ridiculous amount into the hundreds! I found SatNavMapUdate and e-mailed David to get the correct SD Card and the installation was easy following the step by step guide sent by David. Don't hesitate and buy this! Works perfectly and is a fraction of the cost Audi will charge you! (For the same thing!)
