Avoid, poor customer service and very expensive
I received an email stating my box would be shipped within 48 hours, when it didn't arrive, I asked where it was and was told it was dispatched within 48 hours, which is not what they said. I ordered on the 4th and finally it arrived on the 9th, clearly not 48 hours. For £20 I got, 1 full size candle, the rest were all the smallest of their particular range. In the description they state a yankee candle melt is £1.79. This is highly exaggerated. So if you add up all the money I spent including the postage, not worth the money, I would have been better off going out and buying them myself and picking the scent I wanted.

I am so sorry that you have been disappointed, this is not our wish or the majority response to our service, and as previously explained via email we are more than happy to provide a full refund should you wish to return your box to us.
We do indeed dispatch (not deliver) within 48 hours as detailed on our website and in this case your box was dispatched 24 hours after your order was placed. We always do our utmost to provide a quick dispatch time, and I can only apologise that this was misinterpreted.
Our starter box including the free burner and votive holder is worth over £40 (but costs our customers only £20 ) and so I am saddened that you found it poor value.
The RRP value of a Yankee candle wax melt is indeed £1.79 as described on our menu card and this is seen on Yankee candle official website.
Scent by mail is a small business and our customers and their satisfaction is our absolute priority and I would like to think that any problem can be resolved without any issue if we know about it. If you would like to email and request a return and refund I would be more than happy to do so, this is absolutely no problem.

A lovely little treat to receive these each month. I received my first box yesterday & I liked it alot. It was wrapped tightly so there were no breakages & the smells were gorgeous. I received a large candle, 2 small ones, an oil burner, a candle holder and a sachet. Well worth the price.
