Booked appointment on Sunday morning via the website. Got a appointment for 11am, paid the deposit online.
Went to the surgery, was greeted in a professional and a friendly manner. Filled in my details on the surgery ipad.
Got seen on time, my dental issue was diagnosed in a quick and efficient manner. Was shown the full price before any work was started.
Had 4 roots taken out. It was quick and virtually pain free.
Will recommend anyone who is needing a emergency dentist at short notice. Thank you guys!

I've always had a big phobia of the dentist , so I have always avoided going by any means, but I had to get a tooth taken out earlier on this year . I was Placed with Gav and he reassured me and make me extremely comfortable. After the extraction he always aided me with correcting me teeth through invisalign and I must say that I no longer have any issues with the Dentist. From start to finish Gav thoroughly explained the process and now I'm extremely happy with the end product and I can confidently smile.

I had two teeth removed and needed stitches, and the whole team were so kind, gentle, and professional. They made me feel welcome, calm, and well cared for throughout. It wasn’t an easy procedure, but their understanding and reassurance made such a difference. I’m very grateful for their excellent care.

Scott arms is second to none. The staff from receptionists to dental nurses assisting the dentists are all friendly and supportive. The hygiene is immaculate. The dentists I have seen, have all spoken about choices on how to deal with issues I've had. They are happy to explain in depth the procedures. I have had implants, a filling and cap. I would recommend them strongly you are in good hands with them.

contacted and asked for an emergency appointment and was charge £20 which was fare enough. After waiting for over an hour, I was called through to the dentist who asked why I have booked the appointment. After explaining I had a pain in my back molar hit it with a tool causing pain. He quickly took an xray then just left me sitting in the chair (which did not work) then said can I just show you something. I wasn't sure if he was talking to me or his assistant. His assistant said he wants to show you something. He explained I would need a root canal filling which would cost £1400 I advised him I could not afford this so he said well I could just fill it which would cost £753 or take the tooth out. If you have the tooth taken out then the gum would shrink and you would have to have a replacement tooth which would cost £3000 plus. At no point did he say there is no infection and that I could take some pain killers and make an appointment with my NHS dentist. I called my husband in as I felt under pressure. As soon as he questioned the difference between the price, the dentist became very defensive and he was only asking a question. When I left, there was no goodbye just taken to the desk to pay for the treatment. I contacted my NHS dentist on the Monday who said he could complete the treatment. I telephoned to cancel the appointment to be told I would loose the £40 deposit I paid over the weekend. I did not know I have paid a deposit nor was advised I would loose it should I cancel the appointment. I felt like I was treated like a number. No customer care, snappy staff and the reception looks like it could do with a good clean or redecorated.

I recently attended this practice for a tooth extraction and unfortunately found the experience extremely distressing. I feel it is important to share my feedback.
From the outset, I felt my pain and concerns were not properly acknowledged. I presented with a severe rash around my mouth, which made it painful even to open my mouth, yet little regard seemed to be taken for this. Even before the extraction began, the x-ray was traumatic — the plate cut into my mouth and the area under my tongue. Despite me saying it was hurting, I was repeatedly told to “bite down harder” rather than being offered an alternative or adjustment.
During the procedure itself, I was advised to raise my hand if I felt pain. I did so, and while I was given a little more anaesthetic, I continued to feel intense pain. When I tried to explain this, I was told it was “just pressure.” However, it was not pressure — it was overwhelming pain, and I left the surgery in tears.
I had also asked beforehand if the procedure would hurt, and was reassured that aside from the anaesthetic injection (which was described as just a sharp scratch), I would feel nothing further. This was absolutely not the case.
In addition, I was unaware of the list of “don’ts” following an extraction — such as not vaping for 2–3 days or not brushing my teeth for 48 hours. Had I known these restrictions in advance, I would have scheduled the procedure differently so I could prepare properly.
Throughout the appointment, I often felt dismissed and not listened to. On some occasions, the dentist even spoke to me with his back turned. The only person who showed real care and consideration for my pain and distress was the dental nurse/assistant, to whom I am very grateful.
To have paid £195 for such a traumatic and dismissive experience was particularly galling, even though I fully understood the costs beforehand. I appreciate that extractions are never pleasant, but the way this was handled left me traumatised, unheard, and in unnecessary pain. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as it is intended, to improve patient care and communication in the future.
