UPDATE: Social Media Team have responded - simply said 'I can see that your delivery is completed'. No ownership, no explanation for the poor service. DO NOT USE SCS!

Ordered sofa on 26 Oct 24. Estimated delivery 27 Dec 24. Used online tracker mid Nov 24 to be told delivery was now end of Jan 25. Went into store twice to enquire - said they would get back to me both times and didn't. Complained by email on 14 Dec 24 - got a half baked response om 20 Jan 25. Once money taken you are left in the dark. Poor.

The delivery team were very polite and carried out the install of my new sofas and cleared all of the packaging very quickly and they were all smiles while carrying out their tasks.

Update on this review still giving 1 star. As per response from socialmedia team for my 1 star review, and emailing them i have heard nothing! Your company is criminal and i will be reporting you to trading standards not just for myself but past and future customers.... Sofa that was promised for Christmas but never arrived (7 people around for dinner and no sofa, they were in their 70's!!) and 3 different dates offered. You are liars, you have my money and I am still waiting for my refund, and your communication or lack of it is unprofessional and terrible. I will be reporting you to trading standards.

Teri was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and friendly. She showed us a variety of sofas to help us find the right one for us. She wasn't pushy and really took the time to make sure we were happy with our order and had got everything we needed.

Service from Shannon was very personable, patient and efficient. We were buying a new sofa and could not decide on a colour, she found examples on the internet of the colours we were deciding on as well as providing samples in store.

We recently visited the ScS Chelmsford store to purchase a power reclaimer sofa and TV table, and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. From the moment we walked in, Kevin and Teri were incredibly helpful and attentive . They guided us through the different options, ensuring we found the perfect fit for our home.

The power reclaimer sofa is not only stylish but also extremely comfortable and user-friendly. The TV table perfectly complements it and adds a touch of elegance to our living room. Kevin and Teri made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Kevin knowledge on the products helped us to choose the right one.

Overall, we had an experience at ScS Chelmsford and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality furniture and top-notch customer service.

As soon as we walked into the shop we had a great welcome , we browsed around then Andy came over and was very helpful with everything we asked him about .
So we ordered the sofa and that was plain sailing too

Teri was very helpful and made our experience of choosing the right two piece suite for us straightforward and easy. Teri went the extra mile by sending us an e-mail with all the measurements of our preferred sofa so we could check this at home before we ordered it.

We visited the Chelmsford scs branch and was helped by a really helpful team member called EVE she was extremely helpful and knew her stuff explained every thing and was very knowledgeable and helpful with everything would highly recommend and will be going again in the future

Really positive experience shopping for new sofas at the Chelmsford branch of SCS. No hard sell, very knowledgeable, helpful team members and a good range of products.

We visited Chelmsford store to order a new sofa. Was given a very warm welcome by the staff. We're told we could bring the dogs in, who were given a warmer welcome. They had a good selection of sofa's along with a large selection of fabrics. The only downside is a 12 week estimated delivery, but thats nothing to do with the store. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We would certainly recommend this store and staff to anyone.

Ordered my Aurora sofas at the Chelmsford branch, they are due to be delivered on 13th Dec so can't comment on them but the service I received whilst choosing was great. Very pleasant, friendly young girl, Terri, helped me. Easy ordering, very pleased so far.
