I have just taken delivery of 2 leather recliner chairs. I visited the Derby store several times before making the decision to buy and always found the staff very helpful. The delivery was excellent, I was kept fully informed of the delivery re date and time slots and the delivery was very good, with the delivery team taking care of my home during delivery with blankets and then asking if I had any questions and generally being helpful.

Absolutely brilliant service from Ant at SCS Derby! Super friendly and very knowledgeable. We are so pleased with our purchase and can’t wait for our new sofa and chair to be delivered. Would definitely recommend SCS for quality sofas at a reasonable price and staff that will go the extra mile for their customers.

Firstly, the service doesn't deserve 1 star.
I have no issue with SCS directly. Though their delivery men were appalling. Worse than the chuckle brothers. Makes me annoyed that I have to be polite in my review when all they did was F and Jeff. At one point I thought they were going to fight in my livingroom. I had to call my Husband at work to come home.
First problem - couldn't lift sofa through the door, as was far to heavy for them.
Cleared conservatory, dinning room so they had double doors to come through.
They still insisted on coming through the front door. So we took door off.
I said this isn't my sofa. It looked too big. I approached the sofa to take plastic covering off to proof it wasn't. To be told to leave it alone. They asked if it was my name and address on label, I replied with yes. He raised his voice and shout "well, it's your *** sofa then".
After more swearing at each other they got both sofas in the house.
I'm still saying it's not my sofa. They carried on taking wrapping off and rearranging new sofas in my living room.
After more aggressive behaviour, they realised my sofa was delivered to another address. Why the other customer didn't know this, is beyond me?
I'd like to say more about this whole experience but I'm still livid and wouldn't be polite and user friendly.
So.....After rewrapping, putting back on the van and fetching my sofa and 3 ½ hours later and a visit to Kingsway, I finally have a tidy house, though do need to touch up around the door with paint.

We were dealt with in our purchases, in a very good manner and we brought 2 items from your store in Derby. The chair brought was a swivel chair and we brought a carpet. Service was excellent and my wife and I were given a cup of coffee each( nice touch).
The lady dealing with us was very professional. Thank you. Mr. and Mrs. Tipping

Craig, was amazing. Listened to us, helped us to solve the problem we had.

Visited several other retailers ,and decided to also visit SCS ,there was no pressure on arrival, Anchal greeted us and simply said if you need any information please ask ,looked at several sofas and eventually found something that ticked all the boxes ,a coffee was offered and a deal was done ,very Hassle free !

Anhalt helped us find a suitable corner unit and gave valuable advice.

Delivered on time as promised, pleasant and courteous, careful delivery into house and set up.
Pleased with service and would recommend.

Signing in online I have no order number to track my order

Friendly but not pushy staff.

The staff were so nice,showed me around,even made a cup of tea,I'm so looking forward to having my sofa&chair,it is beautiful, it took me a while to save the money but I'm sure it's going to be well worth every penny of my £2,200,it was at the derby shop,

Walked in, everyone had an smile and gave a warm welcome.
After looking around we were shown to different sofas that the customer service representative thought fitted our view. He was right ! We ended up buying the corner sofa that was shown to us. Very happy would recommend scs to anyone, always get our sofas from there

Reece, the assistant, was very helpful and well informed.

My experience was overall satisfactory 10/10 . The sale man Reese was very helpful and informative. I was made to feel welcome and comfortable by none pushy sales man. I would highly recommend SCS

Check SCS Complaints on Facebook about all the issues people have had with their sofas, seems like old sofas are made new and cheap wood used. I placed a order over the phone and cancelled withing 14 days and now they are not giving my refund of £100 back. No sympathy if you are struggling lone parent. I have contacted Citizens Advice and told me what to do.

The 2 chaps that delivered our new furniture were very perfeshonal and pleasant.

Reece was very pleasant and informative. He treated us with respect and was not pushy. Gave us great advice and it’s been a pleasure ordering through him.

Shocking company, would give zero stars if i could, bought a ex demo in store sofa at kingsway derby on boxing day, was told delvery would be quick as in store, still waiting, cannot get through on the phone every time is over 116 minutes wait, requested countless call backs, never ring back, had to go back to store, was told we are still awaiting a stock number, faithfully promised to ring back, no call, have emailed customer services no reply, have contacted them on facebook messenger and after 3 days someone actually replied and told us someone would ring us from the store, which they did, only to tell us still waiting for a stock number and promised faithfully to ring us today...guess what...still waiting. abysmal service.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and staff took the time needed with us to choose our suite without pressuring us. Very pleased with the service so far. All payment options discussed and explained too.
