Couldn't have asked for more, he makes a great espresso aswell.

The suite is exactly as we expected and the delivery service was excellent. The delivery men were friendly and provided excellent service.

We have been in dispute with SCS for 5 months now. The sofa they delivered has been manufactured using the wrong grade of foam resulting in a sofa much harder than the one in the shop. I have been back to the store with my actual new sofa to do a like for like comparison but they are simply not interested. The send out an “independent “ inspector to your house, but all they do is check for manufacturing faults. They do not know what the sofa you sat on in the shop is like compared with the one they delivered.
The Furniture ombudsman is no better. No one comes and actually compares the 2 sofas. I have physical samples of both foams and therefore physical proof SCS are at fault but they treat you like crap. We are now in the middle of a section 75 claim with the finance company and will probably end up in the small claims court . I would avoid buying anything from them at all cost, because of it goes wrong their whole system is geared to fob you off till you run out of energy.

NOTE

You may be able to SCS's response which is untrue. The technician is unable to compare the foam in my sofa to the one in the shop sofa because he has never sat on the sofa in the shop of looked at it. If the foam settles to the extent they suggest, SCS have a much bigger problem than one incorrectly manufacturer sofa.

Great, easy and reliable service.
Sofa was exactly what we wanted and good quality. Communication and updates were great throughout.
Delivery service was easy to manage with company happy to change dates around work. The gentlemen that delivered the safe were professional and friendly and got the sofa in no problems. Communication from them was superb as well.

Very disappointed. Made an order on 13 Sept '25 for a sofa and 2 chairs. Were very pleased with the help we were given in the shop. Received a text yesterday - delivery would be next week. Today have been informed order cannot be delivered on the due date - can't tell us why and has no idea as to when it will be delivered. Good job we had not arranged for our old sofa to be collected! Very poor customer service.

Waliur was so good and helpful, dealt with us nothing too much trouble and very friendly gave us lots of time to decide on choice of furniture. Delighted with choice and looking forward to taking delivery.

We visited SCS Northampton to buy a new sofa and were assisted by Waliur, who was extremely helpful from start to finish. He patiently guided us through the options and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. We were so happy with the service that we came back the next day to complete the deal.

Waliur also arranged delivery within 2–3 weeks, which was perfect as we needed the sofas before moving into our new home in four weeks’ time. Excellent customer service and a smooth, hassle-free experience — highly recommended!

Waliur kindly listened to what we wanted and needed. He was patient, friendly, and seemed to have a good knowledge about the sofas. He kindly offered to make us coffee whilst we were deliberating on which sofa to buy. It was a pleasant visit. We are looking forward to our delivery

Really great guys, phoned ahead of their arrival, a little earlier than email and text said which wasn’t a problem, friendly, helpful and got the job done well, really pleased.

I was text at 6.30AM! Which is a ridiculous time to text someone and wake them up.
To tell me delivery was booked for 10 - 10.20
What time did they come……12.30!

If I could give this 0 stars I would, my partner and I ordered our sofa in store, we was served by a lady called Sharon and the service couldn't have been better, we have just bought our first home so we were really excited to order this beautiful sofa everything seemed perfect. Sharon measured the sofa with us and we compared with our measurements and she was sure it would fit in our house just fine, communication of delivery was great however on delivery the delivery team told us they knew before arriving that the sofa wouldn't fit as it never fits in anyone's door and it always gets sent back, they told us some stores have stopped stocking it as it always causes problems however we weren't warned of this as we wouldn't have ordered it! When calling the store a gentleman explained he always tells his customers that unless they have double doors at the entrance not to buy it as it won't fit however we wasn't told this on purchase. Sharon called us and was very rude saying we would either need to pay £200 per piece that needed to be altered for it to be rebuilt in our home or pay over £500 for a refund!
We have been left very disappointed, without a sofa, feeling conned and will never recommend SCS or use them again! Since this experience we have learned of other people having the same issue! Absolutely disgusted!! Do not go here!

Very good service from people on the shop.
However sofas did not arrive on time.
Turns out they were in the warehouse so could have been delivered earlier if not on time. But apparently due to a mix up they did not know where they were going.
Once received deposit communication is non existent.
Delivery men were very pleasant and helpful.

Delivery experience was fantastic but I’m quite disappointed with the quality of the product on initial viewing. The salesman in store was also fantastic and he listened carefully to what we needed.

Good service all the way through from service received in Northampton store whilst choosing our chairs to prompt and efficient delivery this morning.

I bought an Orton sofa from SCS, Northampton Riverside Retail Park, in July. On the very first delivery, we noticed one of the legs was broken from the frame. They took it back, promised a quick repair, and after 2–3 weeks returned it in the exact same broken condition. Nothing had been fixed.

They then gave me a repair date of 15th September. I waited, only to find out nothing was done, and when I called on the 18th hoping they would finally send it back repaired, I was told it’s now postponed again until 1st October. So far I’ve had this sofa twice, both times broken, and I’m still waiting with no guarantee it will be sorted.

This has wasted weeks of my time with nothing but excuses, empty promises, and poor communication. The quality is appalling, the service is unprofessional, and it feels like once they have your money, they simply don’t care. I deeply regret buying from SCS.

The delivery men were punctual and cheerful, very helpful and they were happy to move my old sofa to the garage.
