My daughter purchased a sofa from these clowns at preston in September and was given a delivery date of 20th November, 2 days before delivery they cancelled but my daughter had already sold old furniture so had to let it go.
She has 2 young children and no furniture and can't get a delivery date out of these clowns.
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SHOP SOMEWHERE THAT CARES ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. We will be seeking legal advice regarding breach of contract against these clowns

All information arrived when you said it would relating to delivery times and updates through the morning. The delivery arrived within the allocated time slot. Colin and Shaun were superb. They were pleasant, helpful and efficient.

Ordered sofas in September 2025 and was told guaranteed Christmas delivery, I understand it is only the beginning of December now but they have no idea when I will be receiving my sofas. I was told estimated delivery 7/11/25, closer to the time I was then told 17/11/25, closer to the time I was given a delivery date of 20/11/25. Because I had received a delivery date I discarded my old furniture to then receive a text message two days before delivery to say delivery had been cancelled. Not one member of staff has been helpful in the slightest, no apology no compensation or anything because there is a ‘4 week window’ which will be over the time frame by the end of the week. Still nowhere nearer to having my sofas delivered and no one has any ideas on it. No sofas and two small children. I’d love nothing more than to cancel my order but then it would be starting the whole process all over again somewhere else, first and last time shopping with SCS. Family and friends have now said they will not be shopping with them either because of this. Never ever again.

Was assisted by Alison at the Preston showroom. From start to finish her knowledge and willingness to assist was first class. She took the time to provide excellent service and advice which made the whole experience a very positive and enjoyable one which convinced us to purchase a new sofa . Thank you Alison your efforts.

The delivery men Matt and Steven were brilliant. I had a bit of a melt down, thinking my sofa, would not go through my awkward door frames. They were so reassuring and determined. They successfully got the sofa in. Not only that, I had a laugh with them. What great guys:)

On arrival at the store we got offered a lovely warm drink which was a lovely gesture.
Alison the lady that dealt with us at the riversway store, was Very helpful and polite not pushy to sell items. Talked about the different products on offer to suit my mums needs, who is disabled.

Quality of the sofas, but what swayed us to buy from SCS instead of their competitors was the sales assistant Alison, who gave excellent customer service. She was attentive without being pushy - a credit to the store.

We had a wonderful visit today with Samina, very welcoming and a wealth of knowledge. She talked us through the various options available and the differing features of each range, helping us to find the perfect sofa that exceeded our expectations! The whole process was warm, friendly and with no pressure, allowing us time to discuss and consider at our own pace. We would readily recommend!

Came into SCS today to browse through sofas. We were met with Alison and her bright smile and warm welcome she led us through various sofas which were a great match for what we were looking for. There was no over ‘pushy sales’ which we were dreading but she guided us through our sofa journey making sure she covered every aspect of each sofa and all materials.
We picked our dream sofa and really happy with the service and quality. We did search other shops but we were drawn back to SCS we believe the quality was far better than other stores.
