Visited SCS Stafford recently. We were helped by Tony who was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble as we took ages to decide what we wanted. Showed us lots of different sofas in various styles & colours to help us choose. Our grandchild was with us & all the staff were wonderful with her taking time to show different things to her & letting her try them.
All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience ( apart from the bill 😂). Wish I bought furniture more often so I could go again.

When we entered the (Stafford) store we were welcomed by staff and left to our own devises ie we weren't hassled!
When we needed some advice we sought an assistant (Rachel) who was very helpful but again left us when we had finished.
We left having purchased 2 reclining sofas and very happy with Rachel's help.

Carol was so helpful and not pushy. When I finally decided on the sofa I wanted the order process was quick and easy. Carole explained everything clearly, answering any questions I had.

I first visited this store on Friday 28th March at 6.15pm as I was passing. Therefore it was unplanned and late in the day shortly before closing. Despite this the staff did not make me feel rushed. A super friendly, professional and knowledgeable lady called Rachel welcomed me and I explained what I was looking for and said I just wanted to browse myself. There was no hard sell at all and no pressure. Rachel just told me to go to her if I needed any help. After spending many hours at other stores I fell in love with a sofa here. I approached Rachel and she answered all my questions. Her knowledge of the product was excellent. I went home to think about it and made an online appointment to come back the next day. On Saturday the 29th March I returned at 5pm to buy the sofa package (3 seater power recliner, Snuggle arm chair and foot stool). However, the staff had noticed a mark on the 3 seater which they were honest and transparent about. I decided that despite the set being heavily discounted as it had been in the showroom that due to the mark I didnt want to go ahead. Rachel was fantastic and understanding and phoned around multiple other stores to see if she could find the 3 seater elsewhere. Thankfully she did and agreed to sell to me at the same discounted price. Rachel certainly has fantastic customer service and she is a credit to the company and a great asset to them. It was at this point I also met Mark - store manager to arrange payment and booking etc. Both Rachel and Mark were so helpful and made the process easy and stress free and threw in free delivery and a 5 year care plan. Mark also made me a coffee whilst we filled everything out. My house has been flooded so I am not ready to receive the sofas yet and Rachel and Mark kindly agreed to store them there until our living room has finished being painted and carpets fitted. I can't comment yet on delivery but will do at a later stage. To sum up I would just like to
sincerely thank Rachel and Mark for their professionalism, honesty, knowledge and excellent customer service and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone.

We had a great experience getting our new sofa from scs stafford. Carol and Mark were brilliant. Extremely helpful and polite even had a lovely cup of coffee. Nothing was too much trouble went through lots if information on different sofas and switches before deciding which sofa to have. Well done Carole and Mark brilliant!!

We were met by Rachel who helped us straight away. She was very knowledgeable of the product we were looking at. We sat and had a lovely chat with her and a laugh. Could not fault her at all. Would recommend Rachel to help you at the Stafford store.

Went to the Stafford Store today after looking round was approached by Rachel who was very pleasant and guided us through the options available on various sofas we liked without being pushy. We finally settled on the one we liked and Rachel explained everything clearly as we went ahead with the purchase.

The Delivery Team who delivered our sofas arrived exactly as they confirmed by phone so was very impressed. They took great care in putting our sofas together and double checked everything was intact and the recliners were working before they left. They were extremely friendly and helpful so a good job done.

A warm welcome at the Stafford store. Tony was excellent and provided sensible advice that helped us make an informed decision. The store is bright and has a wide range of Sofa’s and you can browse and not be hounded by pushy sales staff. Our purchase was excellent value. Delivery was excellent with friendly engaging staff. Very pleased with the whole experience. Would certainly recommend.

So my first review was good - I took delivery of my 2 sofas on 6th March. I was kept informed of the delivery progress and had two lovely, friendly and courteous chaps deliver and install.
Sofas look great!

I have since encountered an issue with one of my sofas—it hasn’t been assembled correctly and rocks on one side.

I initially visited my local SCS store to tell them about this problem and since there was no direct phone line available. Today, I tried contacting Customer Services via the main number but have been unable to get through. I called the head office (0191 731 3300) and was on hold for 20 minutes before opting for a call-back—over an hour later, I still hadn’t received a response.

I called again, but after waiting another 30 minutes without joining the queue, I had to give up. Additionally, the online chat facility doesn’t seem to be working.

This is not what customers want or expect!
