Fantastic delivery team. Really polite and worked very hard to get the sofa in, which looks amazing! Really impressed with the quality of the sofa and the delivery too.

Really friendly and lovely lady Andrea served us. She helped us on Saturday to decide what we needed and to go through our options. We went away and returned today to purchase the sofas. She spent a considerable amount of time with us discussing fabrics and the wear on them dependent on our children and pets. Helped us look at all different options of what would work for us. We couldn't have been served any better, and she was so delightful. A real credit to the store.

We were helped by Andrea, who was wonderful. Really helpful and allowed us to have a good look around. We discussed what we were looking for and our household. She showed us different sofas that met our needs. We went away to measure up and it was explained the options we had. Will definitely return if we need another sofa or chair to add to our home.

Went into store to buy an armchair. We were served by Lee. He was excellent from start to finish- new his stuff and talked us through options for colour and material etc. He was very professional and not at all pushy.
We placed an order and came away very happy!

Efficient,friendly and great communication.

The sales attendant was so responsive and went above and beyond in supporting me with my anxiety around the sofa. I decided on one but she could tell I was not fully satisfied so when I came back, she recommended others until I was fully satisfied.

After a couple previous issues the team came and couldn’t have been any better . Mervyn and Stephen were fantastic and made the experience smooth and seamless

As soon as we walked in the show room at York, Wayne and the team were welcoming and friendly there was no pushy sales, originally I was looking for a friend not me but I ended up finding the perfect sofa after a few visits, Wayne was always accomodating. Would highly recommend. Delivery was excellent, kept updated, and a good service all round

Rang 1 hr prior to delivery with eta. Arrived on time. They were professional, polite and friendly. Respected property

I have looked forward for the item to be delivered and the two guys did the job were very polite, friendly and quick

All went ok with ordering and delivery until I noticed straight after delivery and installing of 2 sofas that the Glides were missing from all the feet. 16 in total that were ordered and paid for at a cost of £120.

I contacted the fitters within 10 minutes and they told me they would put it on their report but it was best to contact my local store which I did straightaway and spoke to George at York store and told him what had happened and as they hadn't been sent out yet not to bother sending them as we do not require them any more as they do not affect the functionality of our sofas and would appreciate our money back please , he said that wasnt possible and I asked to speak to the manager but believe it or not it was their day off. George then spoke to another "manager" but came back with the same answer, " No refund , unable to cancel item "
I find this policy to be unreasonable as I have paid for a complete product, but I have not received all the items and don't actually need them.
Due to the fact that they werent fitted on the day and havent actually been sent out from the warehouse I cant see why they cant be cancelled if I dont need them.
Also why should I have to waste another day waiting in for them to be fitted ?

We have spent over £2700 and would like to think this matter can be sorted amicably without the need to take it further,
I have emailed customer complaints department and hopefully they will sort this out in which case I will re-evaluate my review . Come on ScS , do the decent thing

Went into York store today, found a sofa we like and after some help from Wayne on colours and configuration we ordered on the day. Great service, very informative, and helpful advice. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Wayne in the Clifton moor branch in York was super easy to talk, knew every answer to our questions without hesitation! Super helpful and helped us find our new sofa!

An amazing buying experience from start to finish.
We were royally looked after by Andrea, very friendly and not pushy in the slightest. We needed a new sofa as our five year old DFS sofa was really looking it's age, sagging in place it shouldn't and looking like it was 50 years old.

From the start Andrea listened to us and ensured she found us the best deal.

Will be recommending SCS York to anybody and everybody.

The delivery guys were brilliant. They gave me plenty of notice, were on time and really friendly despite the challenges with the delivery.

I would say, the SCS sales person did say our sofa came in more parts and would fit any room to make delivery easy, this was the main reason we purchased it. Our sofa only came in two parts and they only just got it through the doors. With the weight of this sofa, how far they had to carry it due to access, I applaud the delivery guys efforts and I how friendly they are. I wouldn't have been!

Very good experience in the shop and with delivery, all the staff were lovely and helpful. I recommend scs and will be shopping with them again in the future
