I used Seakargo to collect my new purchase from the seller and deliver it to my house-Brilliant service ,no issues whatsoever .All paperwork correct and the car was in the same condition as when it left USA.Great communication from Imogen and NOVA number arrived quick compared to others I have spoken to -I will use Seakargo again.

Good straightforward service with no problems. I do feel the cost of shipping the car in USA to the port was expensive as I had already had some quotes before instructing Seacargo.I have imported cars before and this bit of the process has always been difficult.
Will use them again.

This was the first time I've imported a vehicle from the usa to uk.
I asked a for a few quotes and seakargo came in the lowest for door to door shipping.
Daryl also advised me charges by other companies were unnecessary due to the age of the car.
The team at seakargo gave me advise and took control of collection shipping hmrc import costs and delivery.
If I choose to import a car again I'd definitely use seakargo.

I use SeaKargo to ship motorcycles from the USA to the UK. They have always been great to deal with - responsive when asked a question, accurate with their pricing and very efficient and pleasant in person.

The one thing that annoys me however is they they don't seem to have much of a handle on the actual collection of the bikes in the US. They do this at arms-length through other companies and this has led to inappropriate means of collection and transportation sometimes showing up and having to be turned away from the point of loading - with the consequent wrangle over who is going to pay for a 'wasted' journey. My suggestion in this respect is get the collection company to send me a photo of the vehicle/trailer that has been assigned to the job so that I can approve it. Either that or have detailed descriptions of every type of transport so that it can be specified in greater detail.

Overall though, I am very pleased with the SeaKargo service and will use them again. Chris L

First experiance with importing a car been a mare from the start car was supposed to be picked up in august b4 bank hol monday vendor phoned truck had not turned up phoned jason at seakargo says he was on the phone to transport company truck was on the road rubbish car was not picked up till the monday vendor rang me told me it had just been picked up rang seakargo still argued it had been picked up on the fri even thou owner told me it had just been picked up blamed the transporter reminded him my contract was with him not my problem after more phone calls back and forth over next cpl months car arrived in uk 1st oct 2019 got a quote for the conversion against my better judgement told them to go ahead sent me paperwork to fill in sent it back got an email 10th oct saying it was in workshop getting light conversion done and is in for mot on Monday 14th oct messaged today for update on car yes it's in workshop waiting for light conversion to be done supposed to be in for mot monday waiting for parts from america what a rubbish company would not recommend this company to my worst enemy 3months to get a car to your door they tell u 4 weeks till they get your money then u just get a load of excuses stay clear

Excellent service at a reasonable price compared to the other quote received. The shipment took quite a lot longer than estimated but this was beyond the control of the agent. The car was delivered to our address by transporter in the condition described by the vendor, so no damage done!

Excellent service overall.Good communication all through out. Few minor issues however rectify. I would highly recommend this Sea Kargo car shipping company to anyone. I think the service is excellent value for money a well organised. There were occasions where response times to emails were a little slower than I would have liked but this was because of a member of staff leaving the company. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I have used SeaKargo twice this year to move our car and very recently my motorcycle from England to Cyprus. One of the vital things when dealing with any Company is to build up trust when making initial enquiries and this was very easy to do with staff at SeaKargo. The level of contact was excellent and instructions easy to follow. I had no doubt about my part in the operation and the costs were outlined at the start. What I was asked to pay was exactly what I paid and both vehicles arrived in excellent condition. On the Cyprus side, the agents representing SeaKargo were very efficient, friendly and helpful. They took time to explain the Customs procedure and what I had to do next. A great all round experience.

I dont normally bother leaving reviews but seakargo was outstanding in every aspect. I genuinely cant believe how easy you made it to ship my 65 mustang from Tennessee right to my house and the delivery driver even backed it into my space for me. Talk about door to door, it was superb service. The car had clearly been carefully handled and stored in transit as it was pristine.
The price you did it for was hundreds or pounds cheaper than the next best quote I had and theres no way anyone elses service could've been better.
Everyone that communicated with me was superb, jason and Amberlee I remember.

I had the worst business experience ever with Seakargo. After giving them clear and precise instructions on picking up a generator that i won from an auction, without lifting equipment on site and exchanging additional correspondence regarding the subject. They claimed that they had to charge me 125 gbp for not having a lifting equipment on site when they tried to pick up. That was after i called them a day after the fact to inquire about the pick up. Again, I mentioned that the site had no lift equipment on site in my inquiry and in the subsequent correspondence with them (Ist with a Johhny then with a Kieran). By this time, about a week had elapsed and i had about 3 days to the removal deadline. After i contacted them again and instructed them to arrange for a pick up asap, then they casually informed me that "they'd asked the shipping line to advise on a date of pick up and that i would have to arrange for the hiring of a forklift". With only 2 days till deadline and realizing that they wouldn't meet the deadline, I told them to cancel my booking.They charged me an additional 150 gbp cancellation fee. All through this, they never for a second admitted fault and tried to blame me for their unscrupulous business practices. You will get a very competitive quote from them but believe me, you'll end up spending a whole lot more than the quoted amount and the job getting done is still not guaranteed. You will see no bad reviews on their website because the reviews get reviewed by them prior to posting and the bad reviews don't get posted. Please learn from my horrendous experience and avoid Seakargo at all costs. Terrible, terrible company.

This was the first time that I have imported a car from the USA so I was a bit nervous about the whole process. I read the previous reviews on Trustpilot and was almost put off using Seakargo. However, when I emailed a few shippers for quotes, Seakargo were very competitive. I am pleased that I decided to choose them because their communication was excellent and the import ran very smoothly. They informed me when the car had been picked up, sent pictures of the car before loading and dealt with all of the import and NOVA paperwork. The whole process took about 6 or 7 weeks which was what I was expecting. If I decide to import any further vehicles, I would certainly use SeaKargo again.

SeaKargo were very fast in getting back to me with a full and comprehensive quote that was very competitive. I found my car in California and they did the Escrow payment, which put me and the seller at ease. They collected the car and took care of all the shipping arrangements, even giving me a ship tracking web page. They organised the payment to HMRC and even delivered the car to my house. All in all, they were a pleasure to deal with and always answered any communication swiftly. Made buying my Thunderbird from The States a piece of cake! Thanks to Darryl, Amberlee and Jason.
