For my birthday I decided to treat myself to a classic 30s Ford. Found one in the US and choose SeaKargo as the shipping agent for three reasons, good reviews on their website, they worked with a American partner for pick and transportation stateside and I had a long chat with them concerning the logistics, all seemed good, a end to end and seamless service. In reality the whole experience has by unreasonable and unacceptable. Pick up of my car stateside was typically 3-5 working days, it was actually 11 days and I was forever calling them for a update to be told "we have left a voicemail". As of writing this review it has been 12 weeks since I have paid for this poor service. My vehicle apparently landed in the UK 15/12/18 so I called on the Monday and was told that it would take "three days to unload and clear customs". But yet again I have had to call for a update, to be told Christmas was the problem and now something to do with the Americans ? These people set your expectations and fail miserable with delivering the service. All businesses have problems but as a client I expect my account to be managed with regular updates and solutions, the attitude of these people is really poor and a bad reflection of SeaKargo, I will never use these amateurs again, oh by the way I still do not have a date for pick up or delivery.
FRAUDSTERS!!!!!
Gave a quote to ship my car to U.K. and fit personalised number plates. Quote approved and PAID IN FULL. Five months later they haven’t fitted the personalised plates, have added extra charges including fuel!?!?!?! So they’ve been driving it whilst they have it!!!! And now refusing me my car unless I pay these other charges!!!!!
The response shows the level of disrespect they have for customers!!!!!
AS PER TRADING STANDARDS hidden fees are a breach of contract. PLUS you have already sent from yourselves, confirmed via email that I OWE YOU NOTHING!!!!!!!
