Hi! I tried to book and pay the ticket thru trust pilot. The money has been deducted to my account since last week. I tried to call Seat24, the guy told me that it was not a confirmed booking. I asked him when I get the money back. He replied: call my bank. I can not understand their system. Up until now the money is not credited to my account yet. I feel annoyed and tired of their system. Anyone has the same experience with me? If so, please guide me. Thanks!

Very Disappointing

I booked two tickets 4 months in advance over this website. 3 Days before the flight I receive following email:

(Dear Sir/ Madam,

Your flight(s) for booking xxxxx has been cancelled by the airline. Unfortunately, you will not be able to travel as planned.

The airline has advised that you can apply for a refund for your trip. Alternatively, we can apply for a refund from the airline on your behalf)

I called the airline and they said back in September the ticket was issued and few seconds later cancelled by Seat24. The airline could not do anything because they said they don't have any information, since the tickets were never issued.

Anyway, I applied on January 10th for a refund. I'm still waiting for the payment. I contacted Seat24 they say, the airline has not paid back, so they are still waiting. I contacted the airline they say, they never received any money from Seat24. Seat24 has many companies. I will never book through them again.

I have been contacting them since one week ago to change the date of the return flight via chat and email. They don't answer emails at all. When it comes to chat, they have always the same answer which is ''The airline system is not letting us to change the date of your flight'' even though I have paid 70 Euros for a ''Flex'' ticket. Now 2022-01-17 at 10:53 they told me they will respond in 24h. Let's see...

Seat24 has not managed to refund our corona flight failure via the airline (Gulfair) for over 16 months. Gulfair was very helpful here and informed us that the exhibiting travel agency (Greece) was informed by you. All efforts from our site (emails, phone calls etc.) brought no success to demand our right.
Seat24 is one of the most unserious companies we've ever had to do with.
Whoever books here is your own fault.
We will now basically book directly at the airline.

The worst site ever! Still waiting for a refund after two years!! In every reply they blame the airline! Do not book at this site. I repeat do not book anything with them.

I paid for insurance allowing to cancel travel for any reason (217 SEK). My wife was not allowed to board the plane by the AirBaltic. AirBaltic admitted it is their problem and re-booked for 3 days later. We could not wait and I cancelled it, asked for 90% cost voucher. After 1 months I got reply by mail that AirBaltic won't refund the ticket. I spent 1.5 hours waiting time on the phone, but the guy told me that our insurance don't cover cancel. I sent message and got reply...that I cancelled it one the next day after travel (??)and insurance is not valid. Every call is 1.5 hours waiting and they don't even check the data, just tell any stupid excuses for not to giving the voucher.

Total scam, won't refund your money, can never get ahold of customer support. Book directly with the airline and stay away from this place!

This is just fake my flight has been cancelled in oct 2020 untill now i did not get anything if call them first i wait untill more then 30 minute and when they received after few seconds they drop the call if i send them email they send me autoreply

We bought flight tickets to Tokyo last year and due to corona and cancellation of our flight, we requested a refund on July. As of now, still no response.
We had friends who also bought tickets to the same flight but from different travel agency, they already received their refund. Today i called seat24 customer service and it turns out, they have received the refund from LOT airlines but they have not done the payment to us. I definitely don't recommend this travel agency, just use tickets.se , they are more honest.

I still have no refund for my flight from the mid of April 2020. I had booked a SAS flight with seat24, and I know from other my bookings as well that SAS refunded tickets even with travel dates in October 2020. I contacted seat24 about the status of the refund of my booking from April. The answer was that I accepted a voucher. But I don't have any voucher from them and I didn't confirm any willingness to accept a voucher. How to understand that???

Finally got my refund back (we cancelled our flight tickets to Rome at the start of the pandemic), which I did not expect from this company but it sure was a pleasant surprise :)

Calling them does not help, they promise that a team leader will take care of this in 48h, but that is just a plain lie. One star is too much, absolutely shameful company.

Seat24.se is a nightmare if one buys a ticket from them. I bought a return ticket from them ARN-KHI-ARN. I got a message from the airline that your flights are cancelled. I called to Seat24.se and told them what I got. They said no no no your flight is confirmed. I said that means airline lies to me. Conclusion is I have to take contact with airline to confirm my travel they (seat24.se) cannot do anything. They said that I must believe what (seat24.se) is saying and should not care what airline is saying. What a joke these people are!

Do not book via Seat24 under any circumstances. I bought plane tickets from Munich to Amsterdam there, on the outbound flight everything went fine, but the return flight did not exist. I was sold a ticket for a flight that NEVER existed. I had to buy a new ticket at the airport in Amsterdam to get back home at all.

I bought a flight from seat24.fi in June.

Unsurprisingly, the flight got cancelled. Oh well, according to EU legislation, I'm entitled for a full refund for a cancelled flight within 7 days. So I contacted Seat24.fi support.

At this point I realized what sort of company I'm dealing with. Seat24.fi clearly had no intention of refunding my money.

First they told me to contact a customer support number in Kazakhstan to receive some voucher with vague non-descript terms. I obviously declined and called their customer support number in Finland.

The Finnish customer support department basically ignored everything I had to say and instead just repeated a clearly rehearsed message. Seat24.fi claimed the airlines have their money and they can not process the refund.

To confirm this, I called the airlines in question, who said they've refunded my money to Seat24.fi, and Seat24.fi can refund me whenever they wish.

I waited in line again and told Seat24.fi this. They ignored what I said and repeated the rehearsed message. I asked to speak to someone in charge. The lady promised her boss would call me back as soon as possible.

It's been three months. I haven't heard from her boss.

I've called Seat24.fi numerous times within the last three months, trying to get this matter sorted. Instead I'm faced with every sort of communication barrier. Technical difficulties, language difficulties, lies and half-truths.

I've made a written reclamation request and repeatedly asked for my money back. Seat24.fi has again ignored every communication attempt. Instead they send automated emails with empty apologies and excuses for the delays.

The automated emails, almost in a comical way, remind you know that they're in an unfortunate economic situation and that you should feel sorry for them.

According to EU legislation, refunds for cancelled flights should be made within 7 days. It's been 3 months.

At this point I have no faith in ever seeing my money again. This company has essentially stolen my money and wasted endless hours of my time over the last three months.

I recommend everyone stay away from this website and all Etraveli subsidiaries.

This company is a scam. I will report them to Konsumentverket, and I will report them to the police for taking my money.

We booked a trip in February for France in July. Due to Covid-19 we could not go. I have been in contact with Seat24 (after waiting like more than one hour on the phone each time) a couple of times, and they do nothing to help me and they speak very bad english.

I have been in contact with Lufthansa twice, and they confirm that the have paid the refund in full on the 6 of August 2020 to Seat24. 6.921 SEK. They will also send me a confirmation by mail.

In Seat24 they just say that there is still no refund for me. I tried to call them today, but now they dont answer at all, when it comes to refunding money for cancelled trips.

I am sure that they will keep my money and never pay me. Authorities should check this company getting rich on peoples money, paid by the airlines.

I am sick of trying. They are, in my point of view, no better than common thieves.

This company is a complete joke and scam. DO NOT BOOK through this agency. The customer support are very rude. I been around the world and I have never ever came a cross a customer support that are Scammers. They sent wrong date on the email. Charged double on every fee!! Unbelievable. Stay away!

DONT BOOK WITH SEAT24, worst agency possible. We booked a flight before Covid-19. 14 days after we were supposed to depart they sent us a mail explaining that we had to chose between a voucher or nothing. We've been trying to call their customer service for months and every time we get through they got an indian woman answering and in a minute or two they hang up. Its the same thing every time. Its a disgrace. If you want your money safe don't book with seat24. Embarrassing.
