We booked Le Cicale villa through Select Sicily and it was a wonderful experience. The villa is magnificent and incredibly comfortable. Everything you need is present - so often holiday villa kitchens have poor equipment such as lousy knives, pots and pans but Le Cicale has everything you need to prepare lovely lunches and dinners if you want to cook. We actually booked a private chef for one evening through Select Sicily and she was excellent and we had a special evening with a four course dinner and everything prepared and served for us (and tidied up afterwards!).The villa is really spacious - two bedrooms in the main building and two in the separate building across the courtyard - all large doubles with very comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms. The view from the huge terrace over the vineyards, down to the sea is beautiful. The Select Sicily staff of Monica and Lavinia were very helpful and answered all questions that we had. We were met by Aldo at the villa who showed us everything we needed to know. The
area is beautiful with nice beaches and restaurants all nearby. I would say that this villa is best for people who have been to Sicily before and "done" all the major sites. Apart from the archaeological ruins at Selinunte which are 20 minutes away, all of the famous tourist sites and cities such as Agrigento, Marsala, Erice, Palermo and the Baroque towns of the east coast are all 1 or more hours away. But if you want a relaxing villa holiday in beautiful, peaceful suroundings then Le Cicale is perfect for you and Select Sicily is a great company to book with.

Select Sicily provided us with a brilliant service - always professional, approachable and friendly with clear information and communication. I would not hesitate to use them again and would happily recommend them and the properties in their portfolio.

We stayed at the properties Le Cicale and Amelia, both in the Menfi area of Sicily and they were both lovely properties, meeting all our requirements and with amazing views - Le Cicale with views over the vineyards and the coast in the distance and Amelia with views over the port and beach at Porto Palo. I would highly recommend them for special experiences. Their descriptions on the website are accurate.

What was really nice was the way we were met at the property (Aldo at Le Cicale and Stefano and his wife at Amelia) and shown around as well as given contact details if we needed help with anything. They were also very respectful.

Both Aldo and Stefano responded promptly to questions during our stay and they provided some great tips about where to eat, where to visit, etc. Stefano even went out of his way to recommend where to visit and eat when we moved to our next destination, Palermo.

All I can say is that my family and I had the most wonderful holiday in Sicily and hope to be back soon.

Fantastic villa with perfect location. Less than 100m to the beach and everything needed in the villa. Sun or shade when needed😀
The host was very accommodating and made the stay even better.

Our stay at Villa Orizzonte was fantastic. We received over the top attention from Ketty the onsite property manager. The Chef recommended by Select Sicily prepared an excellent regional meal for seven people finished with a classic dessert and a guitar accompanied rendition of O Sole Mio. Wonderful lifelong memory. The process of booking, completing and ending the Villa rental was professionally handled respectful of our needs and in general, flawless. Bravo Lavinia, Ketty and Monica.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay at Casa Melograno 2. Everything was spot on - the house, the view, the communication with SelectSicily. We cannot recommend this place enough. We are already planning a return visit in 2024 - this time bringing the larger family!

Very lovely villa with everything you need for a relaxing stay and only a 2 minute walk to the beach.

Excellent communication from Monica and Lavinia at Select Sicily throughout the booking process. Very swift responses. Monica went above and beyond to try and find a mobility scooter for my husband (without success). We appreciated her efforts to do this.

It is a lovely gated villa with pool and beautiful panoramic views. The terrace on the roof was lovely to view the sunsets from. It was spotlessly clean and we had a change of bed linen and towels halfway through the holiday. Martina was an excellent host answering queries promptly.

We did think there was a lack of shade by the pool area, so tended not to sit out there as only room for two people under the parasol. We also would have liked a kettle instead of using a pan. Apart from that we had a lovely time and it was central to travelling to quite a few places.

Excellent communication from Select Sicily throughout the booking process, payments and refunds. Any query was answered immediately.

Ferla Verde is a fantastic property with so many luxury comforts.
All possible equipment is provided.

We were able to arrange an earlier check in to accommodate our arrival.
There was a fab welcome hamper of local produce and there is a good system of buying wine and water on site.

The owner also answered any query immediately.
He arranged for a private local chef to cook dinner for the party one evening which was a special occasion.

The location is great for Trapani town and airport and close to Erice and Marsala which we would recommend. The cable car to Erice is not scary as it tracks the mountain.

It is not really possible to walk anywhere though due to location and lack of paths and pavements.
Supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the vineyard hotel all within 5-10 min drive.

A great place to have a relaxing holiday.

The Selinunte Retreat property where our party of five resided for 8 days was heavenly. We hired a car at Palermo airport and drove down to the property and Aldo from Select Sicily kindly guided us to the villa by phone as there were two properties on the same road with number 43. Upon arrival we were met by the lovely wife of the owner Gianvita. She guided us round the beautiful lush and verdant gardens with it's fabulous pool complete with waterfall feature !! The retreat consists of the main building and an annexe. We found the addition of the annexe (which had a wonderful outdoor kitchen area and barbecue) to be an excellent combination as our party consisted of myself and my husband and my daughter, partner and baby. Therefore we each had our own spaces if we wanted some privacy. A basket of produce had been generously left for us including wine and grapes freshly picked from a local vineyard. What more could you ask for !!
Later in the week we met Giovanni the owner, a lovely man who went to the trouble of bringing us a tray of cannoli a traditional sicilian pastry which we very much appreciated. As we are also of Italian heritage we communicated freely with Giovanni and he told us the history of the property and his family which was most interesting. Apart from the retreat being so beautiful it was also in a perfect location for exploring. It was a mere kilometre away from the pretty village Marinella di Selinunte and it's beautiful beaches....I highly recommend la Pineta beach. The famous archeological site is also within walking distance and Castelvetrano a larger town is only a 15 minute drive away with supermarkets galore on it's outskirts. If you fancy a visit to Sicily's stunning capital and you don't wish to drive there is a very convenient coach from Castelvetrano which takes approx 90 mins....the kind owner Giovanni provided us with this information. This was our 3rd visit to Sicily but our first stay in a villa and the wonderful staff at Select Sicily Lavinia, Monica and Aldo made the booking process so easy and pleasurable. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to use them again and would recommend Select Sicily to my family and friends. A wonderful, unforgettable experience thank you !!

The Villa Aria is far the best Villa what i rented in the past of 3 years. Well equipped, clean and spacious. 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a huge living room. Mr. Morici was there to help us in everything. The pool is also beautiful .

Our expectations for Casa Melograno II, the villa and it's private location were fully met met as soon as we arrived for our 11 night stay. After spending 4 nights in Palermo on our arrival into Sicily we drove down to Selinunte looking for a remote country villa with pool and set in a tranquil and scenic location and that's what we got.
The roads around the villa are predominantly single track with some sections riddled with 'craters'. We were met at the villa by the villa's manager,Aldo. He provided the essential map coordinates to get us to the villa. He gave us a warm welcome and provided key information regarding the use of the villa. He also provided an immediate response to a hot water issue that was resolved early morning the next working day. And let's not forget the two bottles of wine left by Select Sicily as a welcoming gift!
The villa itself was clean, tidy and comfortably furnished, the rooms had high ceilings and insect netting on all windows which allowed us to open the bedroom windows fully to cool the room at night and not have to use the aircon system. The villa has gated private parking, a patio with a fantastic view over vast olive groves and vineyards with an array of wild bird life providing daily aerial displays. The private pool located down some steps from the villa is surrounded by flowing shrubs and olive trees. It is checked and serviced most mornings. A great spot to sunbathe and take to the pool to cool down.
Once you get your bearings, local towns are only 15 to 30 minutes away for all of your shopping needs!
All in all, if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful and scenic location in Sicily with interesting sites to visit, this is it!

Just had a great week in Villa Aria. Large spacious villa with panoramic views. Select Sicily were very easy to communicate with and helped to make the booking process as stress free as possible. No problem giving a 5* recommendation!

Had a wonderful week at Selinunte Retreat.The villa and it’s garden were beautiful, very private and had everything we needed for a family holiday with 7 of us ( age 20-64) Select Sicily were professional and quick to respond to queries.

Wonderful villa that was even nicer than the photographs! Select Sicily provide an excellent service and are extremely responsive and helpful.

My family and I stayed at Casa Amelia this summer and could not recommend it highly enough. Stefano has such a beautiful place and was extremely helpful and welcoming. Even the pictures do not do it justice. Everything has been thought out to the very last detail. The location is incredible. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay, we would love to come back!

We stayed at Selinunte Retreat which was beautiful, spacious and relaxing with all the facilities you need for the whole family.
We were well looked after by the owner and agent. Aldo spent effort on our behalf to find a hotel for the day so we could relax in comfort for the day waiting for a late flight and arranged our transfer too.
Select Sicily have also been great with excellent and responsive communication
Best holiday and location by far

Caso Melograno is a great house, great views and very well set up for a family. The pool, eating areas and views are the highlights. It is near beaches but a car is essential for supermarkets which are c. 15 minutes away. Highly recommend. Agent Aldo and gardeners are all very helpful.

We had a great stay at the Villa and can highly recommend it for having a relaxed time with a stunning view from the pool and perfect privacy.
The villa is also greatly located to explore the South-Western part of Sicily like the Selinunte archeological park and the Menfi wine region.
The communication and check-in & check-out procedures were efficient and pleasant - got great recommendations for restairants and activities in the region! Thanks much for the great time we had!

This villa is situated in a beautiful valley with vineyards and olive trees.
It is airy and comfortable with multiple seating areas outside and a 5 star !!! fabulous pool.
The sunsets were magical, the property is gated and very secure.
We loved every minute here it was relaxing to say the least.
The pictures online are pretty but in person it is just beautiful, it is everything we imagined the Sicilian countryside to be and more.
The villa is situated near to many amenities' and we explored the north and south coastline ,there is so much to see.
Aldo the agent was very friendly and very helpful and accommodating.
I really recommend this place you will have a fantastic time here.
