no pleasure to visit physical shop at all.
hi to everybody, i would wish to share with my visiting this shop, what was totally stressful for me.
first of all its my personal opinion without intention to hurt somebody or devalue merchant.
i come to shop to return article, as mentioned at sefora site, i printed bill, did not expect any problems.
plus i planned to buy xmas gift for high price, but.... " funny time " started at cassia.
p.s I did already complain about the rude behavior of the manager at Sephora to official site. They did NOTHING, only txt me " we r sorry".
the story is:
I came to return blush I ordered online. At first, one manager couldn't figure out the purchase date when looking at the receipt I received from Sephora. For half an hour, three other people couldn't figure out what was written on my receipt ( what has been send to me by this merchant) !!!
After more than 40 minutes, they finally sorted out the receipt and managed to read the date. It's worth noting that the entire conversation was polite, until another lady with a handkerchief around her neck jumped up and asked if I'd made the purchase from the same account. Naturally, I'd paid with a virtual card from Bank. I'd brought my bank card to received refund, which this lady with the handkerchief snatched from my hands without my permission!!!!!!!
My card is private property, and it has a 3numbers of secure defending code, which she disclosed in violation of personal data protection laws. What's this? Who gave this woman the right to behave like this? Who gave her the right to grab my bank card and examine all the personal information on it?????? Even though, legally, she had no right to do this! And on camera, too. So, she disclosed all my personal information without my consent, inviting other salespeople to look at information at my card. And she ignored my request to give me my card back immediately!!!! What if I tell her that taking possession of and disclosing card data without the cardholder's consent is against law. That women told she is the main in shop, and she does what she wants ( when i asked to invite top manager). plus that women was talking rude, This lady spoke cynically and categorically, although she was unable to tell me the requested paragraphs of the return conditions, confirmed by documents.
after such abuse to me ( by my opinion), i have no wish and pleasure to visit live shop.
plus to all some other managers do nothing to help to find correct product, they just staying by group without any steps to customers.

as positive, some girls managers r nice at this shop, and helpful ( to be objective) .
but at live shop they never give even any small gifts, even for samples of perfume u must nearly beg them ( at site written, i have rights to have up to 5 samples for each order). in reality manages in shop decide by themselves how many to give to u and dont care what is mentioned at merchant site.
highly not recommend
after this terrible behavior of manager, and describing this situation to my bank , my bank adviced me exchanged my bank card, what i did.

No customer help if item arrives not as described
I would have loved to try it but i lost $250 because the incorrect merchandise was delivered to me. I got a box with packing material and 2 samples but not the item i ordered. On contacting customer service, i was told sorry there’s nothing that can be done, the item has been delivered (see pictures) they apparently can’t check their inventory, shipping weight or anything else to resolve my issue. Just google “I received an empty box from Sephora” and see how many hits you get. I don’t recommend ordering on line at all because you have no recourse if you receive the wrong item or your order does not ship with the correct merchandise. This is a ridiculous policy. They also do not use a normal shipper so none of the information like package weight or size is available on the package or otherwise.
Use jomashop, maxaroma, ecosmetics, ulta or one of the other trusted retailers
Terrible customer service
I’m a loyal customer of SEPHORA, but they don’t really show the same loyalty several times now when I have made orders Evri say it’s been delivered with no photo evidence or description of where they’ve left it and it’s not even here and then I try and speak to SEPHORA. It’s a joke. Their customer service is ridiculous. I feel like I’m talking to a robot because they keep asking the same question over and over asking me if the package was damaged in transit even though I keep saying the same thing that I didn’t receive the order even the courier said to contact them I feel like I’m on a merry-go-round just going back-and-forth getting no real response.

No consideration
I am a regular customer of sephora since many years but this time I am very disappointed , I have ordered online and I recieved my order just this morning tru point relais but the box was opened and the sample products was mission. I've took a photo and tried to contact their customer service by phone and the agent doesn't have a good answer. Now I want to back the items and they said I cannot return it because it already open. It's still in the box just the plastic was lost. Crazy! Your customer service doesn't help and try to solve the problem.

I wanted to share my disappointment…
I wanted to share my disappointment with a recent visit to the Les Halles store. My friend and I approached a staff member named Anisa. While I speak French, my friend doesn’t, so we chose to speak in English to be clear and inclusive. Anisa responded by muttering something under her breath and rolling her eyes, which made us feel unwelcome and judged for being non-locals.
Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and unfortunately, this wasn’t an isolated case most of the staff seemed uninterested in helping or engaging with visitors. What should have been a fun and cultural experience turned into an uncomfortable one.
I can’t recommend visiting based on this experience. If you're looking for friendly service or help with local products, a nearby pharmacy or other specialty shop might be a better option.

If there was less than 1 star, I would give that. This rating goes to sephora.fr customer service for an online order within the EU. In over 500 euros order, I purchased a Sisley Paris face cream and the cream I received was from a batch that is already more than 6Y old. I wrote to Sephora immediately and they said they will run an internal investigation. It took from 26th July until 26th Aug to receive a feedback and I had to remind them constantly, every time with a response that the investigation is still ongoing. After a month and receiving a response that 6Y old cream for which I paid 300 euros is good enough to be used, which is unacceptable to me, I want to return the product however I cannot print out the return form any longer as, during their investigation, the return period has expired. Customer service is sending generic responses and the actual support is below any expectation from a respectable company as Sephora. Extremely displeased and disappointed!!! Will explore every legal route I can follow as a customer within the EU to get it right as this is outrageous.
No apology to 14 year old for THEIR mistake
My 14 year old daughter went into the Pontault Combault store in Paris while on a school trip. She was not provided with a receipt for her purchase and was then stopped by the security guard after she left the store and asked her to empty her pockets out in front of everyone, he then OPENED her purchase. She was made to return to the store where they found her receipt still in the printer - no apology and no replacement for the item the security guard opened. Why he felt he needed to break the seal on it I don't understand! Shop not interested when I emailed them on her return home.

AVOID! Unless you want damaged products and no refund!
Bought a product in there Val’ Europe store and then headed to the airport. When I opened it when I got home the eyeshadow palette was smashed to bits. Tried to resolve this with customer services only to be told it’s my fault as I should have checked it as the buyer before I purchased. There was no physical damage on the outside of the box and it wasn’t until I opened it I noticed the eyeshadow has been damaged. The product had been in my handbag the whole trip and was not damaged by me. I can’t open the box in store to check, so how was this my fault? Will not be purchasing from Sephora again. Total scam of a company.

SEPHORA THUMBS DOWN
When I’ve needed to make returns for an online purchase it’s been a nightmare. I live in a small town with no Sephora store, no FedEx, no UPS. I also have no home computer, no laptop, no printer, no WiFi, only a phone plan. Automated customer service is full of misinformation, confusion and communication that conflicts with the things an actual person tells you. That is, if you actually get to speak with a real person; they are usually not available. When they are, they are ignorant of basic company information and always “need to talk to my manager”. In the hope that you’ll give up and hang up they keep you on hold until you eventually get cut off. Eventually I had to drive to the closest library and figure out how to print off a shipping label and make the return via USPS. Now I’m expected to wait 30 days for a credit because returns aren’t made to Sephora but to a return center middleman. If I could give zero stars to this company I would! They need to provide the same level of quality service to everyone and realize that some of us don’t have the convenience of technology or big city living at our fingertips.

No Christmas gifts because of the strike
After putting an order on Black Friday to make sure I will have a few Sephora Christmas gift to give. I’ve checked the status of my order to discover that I should receive my package on the 6 of January so after Christmas. They did not think to send me an email advising me of this situation. When I called the customer service, they only offered to refund my purchase and offer me to get the items myself but on different stores because they did not have it all in the store close to my house. They only thing I got from the customer service representative is : « I’m sorry but it’s not our fault it’s the strike at Canada Post Office. It’s not like the strike wasn’t predictable. They should have prepared and use another shipping service.

Couldn’t use any of the cards or PayPal. Apple Pay worked but it kept saying it didn’t on the site.
Only after checking purchase history I realized it worked. Terrible site, will not use anymore.

I was a loyal client since years until…
I was a loyal client since years until one day, they cancel my delivery (for urgent use) even after many times confirmation of delivering it to a new address! What's more, they sent more than 200.-chf invoices to my telecom because i called the Customer service number showed in my order! It will be different if they try to find a solution after i contacted them at least 10 emails, but in fact, they don't give a shit to us...
