i was browsing google images of a particular photographer, and came across a cover of a monograph I was unfamiliar with. it was in the u.k., myself in new york city, but took a chance in ordering it.
the book, the condition, and the care in packaging it were all great.
also the seller is very responsive to all email inquiries.

Beautiful books in pristine condition. My books came packed neat, well protected from bumps and scuffs, and clean. As I place them in my small library I think fondly of the seller because I had to contact the seller due to a mailing/address issue. I’m a nurse, and during this COVID19/Pandemic. I find myself reading more, I read to escape reality, it helps me stay focused on the reality of work even if my escape is done during just a few spare minutes a day. Sometimes a seller gives stress, but, this seller gives kindness in this chaotic world and it is an unexpected beauty that I will not take for granted. The seller stayed with me every step of the way and helped. I received my beautiful books in better condition than expected. But, the unexpected beauty within this seller via kindness and care is what I will remember most. This is a rare kind seller. Highly recommended .

The book arrived in very secure packaging and was in tip-top condition. This is, I think, the second book I have bought from SB, and I had a similar experience with the first one. So I would buy with confidence next time.

Great service, customer support, and speedy shipping considering covid issues

The shop has a nice selection of rare and signed books. I ordered one internationally. Due to the COVID pandemic, the book took some time to arrive, but the shop replied promptly to my emails. The book came in flawless condition. I will be shopping with them again.

A great friend had lost a copy of a much loved book. I sourced a copy and this seller sent it the following day. The post to NI is badly affected by the current situation, but it has finally arrived (beautifully wrapped, apparently!) and turns out to be the same edition he lost 40 years ago!
