Absolutely appalling the way this company is treating our neighbourhood, currently updating our gas mains. Mud everywhere, no care whatsoever, trashing peoples homes and gardens. Not putting them right, removing plants which are wintering and then conveniently disappear, promise that they will leave things as they find them but leave them destroyed and could care less. Mine is due soon and if I have to I will chain my gate as they are not treating my garden and home as they have been the rest of the area. Disgraceful!

Watched for over a week as SGN were supposed to working on Alder Hills, Poole As usual with SGN, no staff on site working, or just sat in their vans, mayhem for motorists but just another usual day for this inefficient company

reference 54625274Edwin and Sam from SGN came to examine a potential gas leak at my house. They explained what they were testing for throughout their time with me. A gas leak was detected and they explained what they would do.
The gas was isolated. They were very professional and helpful.

Sgn worked in and around our street and still currently are.
They are polite and friendly. Professional at all times and clean and tidy.
They have been in contact with all residents to let us know what is being done and if they will need access to our property.

I thought I wanted to leave you a review on a work that was done today at my house.
As my boiler have been playing up and when the gas outlet was checked , it showed that the pressure of my gas was to high. The boiler repair service called you and within 45 minutes your van pulled up.
One of your employees , James Mckenzie did everything possible to fix the problem which he did. He was such a lovely man and explained everything that had to be done. He worked nonstop for 2 hours and was all the time so friendly and professional.
It was actually a great pleasure to have him around. You should be very proud of him and his work and manners with the customers.

We had fluctuating pressure at 08:00 so we called the Gas Safe number and they gave us the Gas Emergency number this was SGN.
Within 10 minutes, a really nice chap called Soman Malhi turned up at our house. Diagnosed the fault in 10 minutes and arranged for the correct people to come and fix it. They came within an hour and fixed the issue (water in the gas pipe).
20 minutes later, Solman came back and reconnected the gas and tested the cooker and the boiler were working.
Would have liked have given them 10 stars, especially Solman who was a star. Thank you SGN

If I could rate zero I would. A building of 14 flats (including children) have had no gas for 6 WEEKS now. It is December and freezing outside and we have no heating, hot water or cooker.
No consistency or continuity between different contractors. Told lies and conflicting information. Customer services say they’re getting back to you and don’t bother. They have been a complete waste of space . Work that has been done is shoddy and they don’t care about damaging the interior of your home and leaving you to clean up there mess. Still no actual end date of when we will get gas, just that it’ll be before Christmas. They’ve been saying “next week” for 6 weeks now so it’s difficult to believe it or have any faith in what they say. Has caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety for all the residents.

The man called Andy maguire came to my house tonight absolutely very happy with the help and service he provided very quick and reliable 10 out of 10 🌟 brilliant friendly man thank u Andy xx miss June dodd

Sgn have been doing repairs in an adjacent road. They then turned up at my door with my 16 year old daughter home and told her they were allowed to enter without permission.
She called me and I told them to come back the man who called was rude and vile. He said if he didn't come in he would call the police.
I am also disabled and will not allow anyone into my property without notice.

If i could give 0 i would co2 alarm was going off .i reported it at 6.33 pm .finally came out at 1.30 am just to disconnect my gas terrible company .

Had a gas leak and the emergency gas engineer was first class.
Then all the problems began, the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.

Ordered gas service move as part of house renovation. They showed up on time and did the job as expected. Thank you!

Engineer arrived on time, was professional, friendly and efficient. Really helpful, and took the time to explain everything. After multiple failed appointments with other companies, SGN were a pleasure to deal with: from customer service to engineer. Thank you.

driver of wm67 gvv on 20th october 2023is a nutter.... sat and blocked off a whole drive thru while he was on the phone so no one could order before him..... sped theu the car park while om the phone... then nearly killed someone bu cutting them up on the way out.... dashcam footage sent to police..... that man is gonna kill someone

I have just had the most shocking experience with SGN and their sun contractors. They are currently replacing gas pipes in our area and have been digging up streets, gardens and then entering people’s properties to renew pipe work. They ran new pipe work to my gas boiler but failed to reconnect my gas hob. The story was we have noticed a drop in pressure so you must have a gas leak. After over 20 calls and terrible communication to get them back to resolve this situation they have now told me that this is not part of their remit and I have to foot the bill for this. I can assure you there was no gas leak in my property prior to this company undertaking the work which I never asked them to do. I have now paid for an independent corgi registered gas engineer to test my system and lo and behold there is no gas leak. SGN still refusing to fix the problem they created. They are a disgrace of company. They enter your home, unrequested, leave half a job and then expect you to foot the bill to resolve the problem they created. Morally and ethically they are a disgrace of a company. DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOME YOU WILL BE LEFT TO FOOT THE BILL.

This is the terrible company that digs up the road and has no one working on it for days or weeks.

Glenn was great. Was very thorough, diligent in his work. Made sure to rectify the mistakes of a plumber I hired and, as a bonus, was very friendly and pleasant to speak to while getting the job done.

Do not use this company. They charge ridiculous amounts for very little work. They add on extra for digging and charge again. The engineer also lied regarding the amount of excavation which was done. £850 for an hours work????

A few weeks ago a lovely gentle man by the name of Lloyd came to do some work at my house, he was very friendly, he explained what he came to do and done his job properly and made sure all the checks where done before he left, I was really pleased and felt reassured we’re safe. I hope there’s many more work men like him.

Shoib Ali was very courteous and helpful. He explained what he was doing and was very thorough with his checks. When he completed his work, we felt very reassured that we were safe. He also left a pamphlet re: use of gas safely and signs and symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning; and made sure we did not have any symptoms.
