TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE ! Purchased a "Woodland Wishing Well" from my local supermarket. Unbelievable poor quality. Broken poeces of wood within the self-assembly product. Holes in metal strips not drilled in the correct place, two overlapping the end of the strip. Quality control has not been within a mile of this product.

Great Clock - Shame about the lack of a Battery !!!

Today I bought a very nice looking garden clock with built in Thermometer and Barometer from my local garden centre. My pleasure was soon dashed upon opening and removing the clock from the well made box. To my great disappointment there was no battery included, having paid £24.99 for this clock I thought it was very mean indeed not to include one little AA battery. They would literally cost them a few pence to include one and save buyers of these clocks having the inconvenience of having to buy one themselves. How mean and tight can one get !!!!!

Solar Lights

Although I was initially disappointed that my solar lights didn’t last for very long, the company’s customer service could not have been more helpful and efficient. In November they promised to replace the tops as soon as they had new stocks for the new season. Sure enough, true to their word and without the need for me to remind them, 3 replacement tops arrived on 1st February. Many thanks Carl - brilliant service. I hope the lights are as reliable as you.

"Red Acer Leaf Trellis"

Last Summer I bought a "Red Acer Leaf Trellis" product from this company. Having been up for less than 8 weeks and (being advertised as UV protected) all the leaves had lost all the red colour and where now white. Having submitted a complaint, and photos I did receive a replacement but exactly the same has happened again after only 6 weeks !!!!.
I would not advice anyone to purchase this item.

I purchased a SGP product from a…

I purchased a SGP product from a retailer which failed after 15 minutes (battery operated spinner); rather than returning it back to the retailer (Conkers/Basingstoke) I contacted the supplied (SGP).
The retailer was over 35 miles away and their service in store was shockingly; so I thought contact the original supplier.

Carl their customer service champion listened carefully and despite not being his issue as such and initially unable to provide proof of purchase, he made the ultimate step of thinking like a customer and acting like a five star company.

He was quick to understand and react in such a thoughtful way.

I couldn't ask for more and would commend him and his company - thank you and well done.

Bad Garden Clocks

I bought 6 Garden Clocks with Thermometer and most of them went bad pretty quickly depending were in the garden were installed; I gave some as presents to my family but all went bad and unusable which didn't look very good on me.

All of them have 3 years warranty which is not worth the paper is written on them; They've sent once a replacement which was a completely different clock, but fair enough, at least they did something about it ( hence 2 stars).

Now they keep saying to go back to the shop where I bought them as they have no spare parts to fix or replace...so where is my fault on that? The shop will not refund since it has been more than a year from purchase and I have to go back to the manufacturer to fix or replace; I don't mind to have one or the other as I really like these clocks....when they work!

I had enough of going back and forward on emails, is not my fault these went bad and they should honor the 3 years warranty; maybe next time leave it to 1 year!
