Exceptional service and speedy delivery
I contacted Shinybikes by email to find out whether they had a Zipp disc wheel (Shimano freehub) in stock and how quick they could deliver it to me - because mine recently broke.
Not only were they swift to reply to my first and subsequent emails, but the price was the lowest I could find anywhere. They event sorted out an issue with my paypal payment (which I think was my fault) and sent the wheel out yesterday at 4pm. It was on my desk waiting for me when I got to work today!
Absolutely first rate service. I will definitely look to buy other things from you in the future.

Purchased a couple of products from shiny bikes received all the information I need and also was aware I could ask any questions if I needed too, received products within the time frame I was told. Products very high quality at very good price would recommend the company to everyone!
Quality through experience
As a keen racing cyclist for 40 years it is great to deal with a company that is also operated by people with years of cycling experience across all disciplines. Shiny Bikes is also by far the cheapest online dealer and their communication and delivery is second to none. In the unlikely event of an error with my orders, their customer service is excellent. I can't believe people have posted poor reviews, they must not be real cyclists !

They were based near to my home up until recently when they moved to Iteland 😢. They are very very hard to beat on price and extent of top line equipment.
I live in the UK and have used them since their move and found their service still of a very high standard.

Not as bad as you think
I received my shinybikes order today, 12 days after i actually ordered it, this was also the second time i made the order, the first time the package ended up at a depot miles away after two weeks waiting for it and i cancelled the order and let Shinybikes deal with getting their stuff back.
other these flaws i found the company pretty good, the price is amazing £480 for an Athena groupset which was over £600 on Wiggle. Must disagree with other reviewers the staff member i spoke to whose name i wont mention for privacy was nothing but very helpful and understanding and answered rather irate emails promptly and politely and my first refund was processed immediately.
If you accept the order will take ages to arrive this is a good company that will save you considerable money on your order if you are patient.
UPDATE:
Previously 3 star, After writing this review i actually opened the boxes and the front Derailleur was wrong, i have tried to call and no-answer, can only assume its going to be another herculean effort to get a part that should have been right the first time. It took 8 days to get my package out the warehouse and it was still wrong!!

Just collected my Enigma Etape Disc from the Shiny Bikes new store and the bike is fantastic! I wasn't sure of my size as I had been previously been bike fitted by another company and was uncomfortable on my old bike with lower back pain and neck ache.
Shiny Bikes took the time to advise me on my current position and measured me up for my new bike. Have to say it is so comfortable to ride.
Shiny Bikes advised me every step of the way with my build and advised me on crank length, gear ratios and bar sizes. The bike has been carefully assembled and it looks stunning.
I also had read some of the reviews on here, but was reassured by the positive reviews I had seen and also by their quick response to emails when I made my initial enquiry and also the fact that unlike a lot of other online companies I could pick up the phone or drop into the shop to speak to them.
I will definitely be using them again for my next purchase and I have recommended them to all my club mates.
DO NOT USE! NEVER RECEIVED ITEM AND TOOK OVER A MONTH TO GET MONEY BACK
Placed an order for a Lezyne CFH Road Drive bike pump on the 26th April, received nothing by 22nd May; sent emails, Tweets and Facebook messages with no response.
Got through by phone after many attempts on 26th May and was told that another pump would be dispatched immediately and be with me by the end of the week, nothing arrived and I eventually got through on the phone on 29th May to be told it would be here on the Monday. Still nothing arrived so I phoned again on the 2nd and 5th June.
Requested a refund on the 8th June, nothing appeared in my bank. Again phoned on the 10th June to be told the computers were down. On the 12th June left a voicemail message due to "staff training" at this point I threatened to phone the Police and start court proceedings. This resulted in a phone call to me on Saturday 13th June with a refund via PayPal for the purchase value of £42.50, that cost me £1.65 in PayPal fees!!!!!
During this faff I was given the excuse that because the package contained a CO2 canister then it was probably stopped at the airport between Northern Ireland and England. If this is the case you have to ask yourself why any reputable company would sell an item to the mainland let alone actually post two! I don't believe they ever posted anything.
It was also suggested to me that £42.50 wasn't too much to lose! In the end I only lost £1.60 and several hours of my time.
Finally at no stage was compensation for my numerous phone calls, time or inconvenience ever offered.
One positive the staff were always polite.
SIMPLY DON'T USE THIS COMPANY IT ISN'T WORTH THE HASSLE(check out my other reviews, I'm a genuine purchaser who is happy to give praise where due)

*Email me copies of the two letters, you have my address.
*It took 4 phone calls to get my money back and I was charged by PayPal (the purchase wasn't via PayPal) to receive the payment. I have lost money and time.
*An apology won't go amiss.

Very poor
So as per the majority of reviews on here the experience was the same. Part was ordered with stated 2-3 days delivery. after a week they promise its been dispatched, wait again, another call, oh it was dispatched n a different day, wait again, oh it was dispatched on another day, can I have the tracking number yes here it is, phone back the tracking number is only proof of delivery, obviously they knew this but didn't want to say. So still no part and open a PayPal dispute
So clearly each reply from them is a delaying tactic. They purposefully provide you mis-information to buy themselves time, and why.... Because they have a business model built around needing to do that because they have a weak supply chain, which means they can reduce prices. So yes they are advertising things for sale that they don't possess, and are possibly never going to possess. Who knows they may have to go and source your order from ebay, or fly to Mexico.
The part I ordered hasn't even been released in Europe yet.
Delays I can manage, mistakes I can manage, but trying to deceive, that's a different matter

Just took delivery of Zipp Super 9 Disc wheel. Nowhere had them in stock when I called, thought I'd give these guys a go and they were most helpful on the phone and confirmed they had in stock. Their price was also the cheapest. Ordered Wednesday and took delivery Friday afternoon! Will use them again and recommend to all my club members!
Shiny Bikes suck! DO NOT USE!
Ordered handlebar and stem, took over a week to arrive after guaranteeing within 1-2 days. They sent the wrong stem (from subsequent forum discussions realised its a common practice with Shiny to send out different parts without warning if they don't have the purchased model in stock). I then requested a refund and asked for a return address and heard nothing, so opened a Paypal dispute and returned the item to the listed address on the website. A day after it was delivered and signed for, they responded to Paypal asking for item to be returned before issuing a refund. No apology, still no reply to initial emails, seems it takes an official dispute for them to respond once they have your cash (again check the bike forums, this isn't an isolated incident). This company is terrible, no customer service and no integrity as a retailer. Do Not Use - go to Wiggle!

If by 'timely' you mean by your own (poor) standards and not those listed then I guess it was done correctly, and it seems like a pretty regular complaint from your customers that incorrect products are sent and emails ignored (reviews below, Roadcc, LFGF). And if by 'activated full refund' you mean ignoring the open Paypal dispute requiring you to actually act in order to issue the refund then I think your doing a great job. How about you look at the litany of negative Trustpilot reviews, check the bike message boards, and then do something about your business rather than continually plead innocence.

So far so bad!!!! DO NOT USE!!!
I have been cycling for years and years and buying kit for just as long. So far shiny bikes have been usless and by far the worst retailer I have ever delt with. I ordered a groupset as the price was good. Received an automated email and that was all I heard for over nearly 2 weeks, I sent them an email to cancel the order, heard nothing.......a few days later I emailed again to ask when I would get refunded (as they took payment when ordered) heard nothing. About a week later I get an email saying my order is being despatched!! The whole groupset arrives in a cardboard box that was basically open at the top, really poor packaging.
I tried to get a returns form through their website, waited......nothing, no reply. I then phoned and was told that they have a one week turn around on returns and i was to late to return it!!!! yeah right! I was then told to return it and they will refund me, I returned it special delivery, a card was left and 5 days later they have not picked it up..............hmmmm trading standards are going to get a call very soon. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!

I have received my refund from shinybikes, so thank you for giving me my money back. From you reply you have totally ignored the fact that I emailed several times to cancel my order and that I requested on 2 occasions a returns form through your website, that is at least 5 contacts that you have ignored. Yes we spoke on the phone but your first reaction was to lie about refund timescales. At the end of the day you have a great opportunity to have a great business, all you have to do is be honest about stock, timescales and reply to ALL of your emails. Why not use these reviews to your advantage, its great customer feedback, turn these negatives into positives and you could be running a huge online store?

I ordered a Pinarello Dogma F8 frame at a fantastic price. I emailed the company to make sure the frame was in stock, got a quick reply. I ordered that day and the frame was sent via parcel force 48hrs. Arrived well packed and immaculate. Well impressed with the communications, speed of delivery and a price no one else was anywhere near. Recommended.

I ordered a pair of shoes and it went three weeks before any communication was provided to me that item was out of stock. I decided to ask for a refund so [name] set up a refund in Worldpay credit account but I have never received the refund and it has been 2 months in over 6 emails. there is no form of customer service from this business. if I can give them a zero star rating I would.

Incompetent plus poor communication.
I ordered several parts from Shiny Bikes and received two incorrect items. I obtained return authorization and shipped back wrong parts. Then I heard nothing, all my emails went unanswered. Six weeks later the parts were returned to me including a note saying package was unclaimed. Finally I threatened action through PayPal and I was refunded for the difference in cost between what I ordered and what I received because I did not want to waste another $35 to attempt another return.
I could forgive the incorrect parts. Maybe the package was returned due to UK postal ineptitude. But I cannot forgive the totally pathetic ability to just respond to email. Do not use this guy - pay more if you must but go elsewhere.

I had a great experience of dealing with Shinybikes. Good friendly service and FAST delivery to the USA (NYC).
My wheelset arrived in 3 days and were packaged well. Shock horror, I had ordered the wrong hub, faced with a UPS bill of over $200 to return the product, the owner just sent me a new hub, with no fuss and at no cost to me.
I highly recommend Shinybikes, a great company and I shall be using them again.

They Came Through For Me
They had the ASSOS item I'd been searching for at a good price. Of course, once I'd completed my purchase transaction I remembered that there were several more items that my wife and I also needed. So I looked and found them on their site at fantastic prices - but couldn't include them back into our original order to save on shipping to California. So I E-Mailed them and asked if they could include them and got a reply within a minute (at nearly 18:00 hours their local time on a Friday) that they could and would send me an electronic invoice for the additional amount. Saturday morning I had the invoice, paid it and on the following Friday had all 6 items delivered in the mail. Doesn't get better than that. Great products, good prices and responsive service. I'll definitely be using Shinybikes again and will recommend them to my friends.

I ordered a Icetools Truing Stand on 27 March. It arrived damaged the following week, eventually got a response and item was returned (with no offer of refunding postage as they are required to do under the distance selling regs). Chased and chased and eventually got the "it was out of stock so we had to re-order" excuse followed in the next week by "we're sending it out" followed by finally "It's been sent on 1 May"
Guess what? Item has still not arrived, tracking number is useless, no response by email and their phone isn't being answered. Started the chargeback/complaints process with the credit card company to see if that wakes of their "customer services dept". In short save your time, money and sanity, admittedly paying a bit more, but use one of the bigger, more reliable online merchants
Update :- after more chasing.... was offered an apology and a refund via Paypal.
