I have been a customer of shop direct…

I have been a customer of shop direct for many years and pay everything in full and on time I have just had the executive team contact me and say I owed £2 that has actually appeared out of the blue not even on my statement petty behaviour and as I can see there are lots of customers that have been let down by shop direct, being a good customer these days doesn't amount to anything very disappointed

Something has changed for the worse

I have been a customer for decades. I pay by direct debit and have never missed a payment. They kept putting up my credit limit. I used the account but never needed the full amount of credit. Suddenly they drastically reduced the limit, doubled the interest rate and told me to close the account if I didn't like it. They claim to monitor my credit report in order to make decisions but I've checked and I have a perfect score. I cannot get a sensible answer from them. I am paying off the account as I think they have become a problematic company to deal with. They were excellent for years but I think they are to be avoided now. Something has changed.

Awful. I’m speechless that they don’t care!

Avoid at all costs. I have been a customer for years but something has gone badly wrong! If you have a problem you are stuck with it as they just don’t care. Take a look at the poor reviews for Very! It appears to generate an automated response and nothing more is heard from them! Absolutely appalled!!!

I agree with the 95% this company provided shocking and rubbish service .

Dear all parties in question and MR Henry Birch CEO for very group to this email in regards to my new very account and the way i been treated and help today by the fraud dept. at very in regards to placing an order online on 18 December 2021.

i recent opened a very account and my credit limit is of £250 if which is ok i would of Rather not opened this account now after today .

so i placed an order for boss jeans boss top trainers and under wear which came over the £250 limit i was going to pay the rest by credit or debit card.

when i placed the order it went thought to the credit assessment dept. .

today being 19 December 2021 i got an email saying three out of the 4 items were being sent to me and the i decided to call very up the number on the email don't work and i then call the fraud team .

when calling the fraud team i didn't aspect what was coming next at all and how i was treated by them .

I called very fraud dept. around 13.06 on 0800 0151290

spoken to an agent at first the call was ok but then things started to change and the call to getting bad .

she told me that its not bad you still got three out of 4 items because of the credit limit and xmas is only 6 days away the top was a gift for my friend also i have had to go to the Trafford centre to buy him something and this made me late for zoom meeting tonight too.

when i tried to ask for a manager got told 72 hours but i could see the the call getting worsen on the phone at this point .

I phoned back flew times after all the service over all very shocked and the way i been helped too.

i would never recommend anyone to very

its quiet fair to say very happy to take customer money soon as a problem like this very don't want to know and don't care at all.

how dear very pick and choose what they send a customer out and then one of very fraud agents tell me its not a bad thing at all !!!!!!

i want someone senior to call me urgent about this please .

this is the level of service very offer to new customers.

No product and no refund and excuses

No product and no refund and excuses, I ordered a pool for my 6 year old birthday and paid 10 pounds for delivery and I have still not received my package a week later, I have for a refund and they will not give me my money back. I now have a very upset child.
STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD.

I paid over £1500 never received them.

I paid over £1500 for 2 sofas. On the day of delivery received a text from courier saying they weren’t delivering as part was missing.
No contact from Very.
Called very after 30 minutes wait told the sofa was just wrong depot.
On 3 days later no sofa and no contact from very. Very told me that the second sofa was out of stock so wouldn’t be delivered. I would receive a refund when both sofas returned to very. How could they refund if the second sofa didn’t exist. After another 3 days still no refund. Eventually spoke to a manager who told me a refund would take another 5 days.
Still no refund.

Awful company

Wish I could give zero! I just noticed that they have added an account on my credit file even though I have not added an account and as I am under a DMP I would not be able to open an account so now I have to spend my precious and rare day off trying to sort this out. What a useless, dangerous company. I'm going to complain to anyone I can think of that can do something about their practices

DO NOT SEND FOR A MOBILE PHONE FROM VERY JUST INCASE YOU NEED TO RETURN IT

I recently sent for an Iphone 11 from Very (shopping direct). On receipt I transferred all my apps, pics, data from my android phone. Everything was fine on the transfer.
My problems started after I was advised to download the new IOS version. Things started to go wrong with the hanset. Contacted Apple (no use).
I returned the mobile to Very. This is where my problems started. It takes them 21 working days to even look at the phone. I contacted them to ask if they could give an update on where the item was, or what stage they were at, as I wanted to purchase another phone. (I would have even had one from Very at that time). OH NO. They keep on repeating that its being looked at. Will not say what stage its at, or where it is, they gave me nothing.
Received a mail from them stating that this should be resolved by March 8th 2021. I contacted them today (March 8th 2021, no they are still looking at the phone.
How long does it take an advisor in the refund team, to either refund the money or return the phone.
Please be aware that if you order a phone off Very, and you should need to return it, you will be waiting a very long time.
If I had ordered this via my Service Provider, they have a 14 day cooling off period and will accept the item back.
THINK ABOUT THIS WHEN ORDERING SOMETHING ELECTRICAL.
Another problem is, when you contact Very you cannot speak to a memeber of the refund team. They put you through to an advisor who can only read notes left on the system.
I would have awarded zero stars but that's not allowed.

Awful company that is affecting credit…

Awful company that is affecting credit scores for people that never had a credit account with them!! I have never applied for credit from shop direct and they even confirmed in a telephone conversation with me that my account was a 'cash account' and that items were all paid for up front. Yet they went ahead and closed my online account in October last year with no warning and obviously put it down as a settled credit account which I never had. Settled or not it still damages your report if you close a credit account IF YOU HAD ONE!!! Disgraceful. I am now wondering how many people are in my situation or don't keep a track of their credit score so they are unaware of this slanderous behaviour.

I got my ppi back offering me 49.00 on…

I got my ppi back offering me 49.00 on one account and 110.00 on the old littlewoods. The interest of 8% has only been paid on the accounts when the accounts were in credit. "Compensation for times when your balance would have been in credit if your ppi policy had not been on your account.

PPI claim made in July 2019

Made a PPI claim in July 2019 via a claims management company. The company told me that despite regular correspondence to Shop Direct, they received no responses until April 2020 when they asked for my ID. This was duly sent. No further communication until September 2020 when they asked for the ID again having lost the first set. December 2020 the claims management company was told that Shop Direct were closed for the first half of 2020 due to Covid and have a huge backlog to go through. So now I've waited nearly 18 months since my claim was first made and still no further forward. Disgraceful
