Was a really good app with good deals, easy to redeem process and quick cash back….however with the £10 minimum withdrawal introduced over the summer I have now cashed out and won’t be using this app again. With fewer offers in general and with less enticing discounts it would take too long to get my money back.

Didn't realise minimum amount to withdraw is now £10!!! With very few offers this will take an age to accumulate. I've used Shopmium for many years now but I'm afraid I'm out!

I’m afraid that when my balance reaches £10 I shall be leaving Shopmium, I have used this app for about 4 years and always loved it and told my friends about how good it was …that was until they changed the rules about getting your cashback when you reached at least £10 in your balance…such a shame as it was a brilliant way of trying new products 🙁

Gone downhill very quickly.when they changed the minimum limit to 10 pounds,the offers dried up.
Gone on the days when product could have 3 or 4 cashbacks ie different varieties of the brand.no free cashback products anymore either.
And the choice now is pathetic they go round and round and round.with the same product do yourself a favour and leave.l give you a example
Let's say there are 1000 accounts with 9 pounds or less that's 9000 pounds that making interest for shopmuim until they changed back to there original format they will have a steady flow of interest throughout.

£10 before you can cash out. What a scam.

Last 2 times I submitted, it took over a week to get paid. You have to constanty email them via help center to get paid. submitting is easy, getting paid is almost impossible.

There is never anything decent to choose from.. hardly any free stuff. It's all you have to pay a good amount or poor discounts. The same stuff is advertised for months on end and can never be found in th stores. I haven't used it in a long time as nothing takes my fancy. What's with the £10 to cash out approach now? Seems like I will be waiting a long time to cash out what I already have

I used to regularly use Shopmium, but they've suddenly changed the goalposts and now I need to build up £10 before I can withdraw. I feel I've been conned into buying something I didn't really want and now I can't get my cashback since it will take too long due to the poor quality of the offers. It was good to start with, but rapidly going downhill. The range of products on offer is nosediving. Everything seems to be an environmentally unfriendly milk alternative or vegan meat substitute made from processed ingredients from South America.

I bought 3 covergirl products and when I tried to get the rebate for the 3rd one on shopmium. They would not honor it. Even though I sent in my receipt and it shows I only used 2 coupons. I would not recommend this rebate site.They do not honor their policy, and gives you a hard time claiming a rebate

I became a gold member a few weeks ago and was keen to look out for really good deals or products to try. After a few weeks, I could not even find one to buy. Selected a couple but gave up on the end because I really don't want to force myself to buy anything I don't want. Why is this app so bad at securing good and a variety of deals now??

Once I reach the £10 limit to withdraw my cash I will stop using the app. Some of the items are so obscure will take a long time to reach the level. Either revert back to the old system or have better offers or this app will become worthless and will probably disappear

This was a great app, the cashbacks were simple and paid quickly. Now they have implemented a £10 threshold which completely ruins the experience. Firstly there are not enough shopping items / deals to choose from. It will take many months to reach £10 unless you start buying things you don't really want or need (which seems to be the point). Secondly, they have the nerve to advertise this change as beneficial to users. A blatant lie and they know it, there is no benefit to making it harder and longer to receive a cashback. It is beneficial to them and them only. That is why they deserve 1 star. I'm no longer using it unless they reverse the change

As others said, the new £10 payout threshold is pulling me out of the app. I will not use it anymore as soon as I reach the first £10.

I hope you guys take seriously our reviews and pull back to a some more reasonable threshold

Still waiting on cashback from months ago. Every time I message them they just give me the same response.

Used Shopium for around 5 years.

The products on offer varies but there’s usually new products to try out at a reduced price. Payout was always fairly quick and never had any issues.

However they’ve recently changed the procedure and you have to have £10 in your account before they will pay out.
This could take a good few months to achieve, unfortunately shopium I’m out and won’t be using it anymore.

Have used Shopmium for quite a while now and have found it very good for getting cashback on supermarket items but today got an email to say that the minimum threshold for withdrawing funds is now £10 whereas before you could withdraw under £1.
It will now take a lot longer to get any cashback which will make me think twice about using them.

They updated their app and I got signed out of my account.
When I tried to sign back in again my details wouldn’t work. I tried to reset password and I never got an email.
I’ve emailed and had no reply.
I’ve messaged on Instagram and had a few replies but NO help, and I’m now being ignored.
Honestly- the customer service is shocking!

Downgrading my review to 1 star now after receiving an email saying they're going to be accumulating our cashback money to £10 minimum thresholds to withdraw...apparently to make OUR lives simpler and more satisfying!

I've been using Shopmium since 2020 and, as an app and technophobe, I can tell you, it's easy and straight forward to use, else I wouldn't bother.

They've got all major supermarkets featured and you can see which offers you like, how much % you'd get back and often with new items, it's 100% free which is paid within 12-24 hours into my Paypal account. I am then invited to leave a review on products.

I've not had any problems in the years I've used it, here's my code N6K7V5 if you want to check it out for additional bonuses yourself.

Cashback requires a photo of either the screen invoice (I take a screenshot on my PC of the online receipt) or the paper receipt from the in-store visits photographed and sent to be approved. You also get Bronze, Silver & Gold status, though this is dependent upon the volume of requests made (as I only have plant based foods, I reached Gold but others would reach that level faster than me, for additional bonuses)

I'd really recommend scanning items in store before you purchase to ensure it's the right item (I've previously made the error of not doing that and buying the wrong size or version of the offer so it was invalid) and checking that the paper receipts are legible (stores can reprint if they're not).

I get a real buzz checking out new items before I go shopping so I find it fun as well as money saving.

I highly recommend Shopmium as it's really improved in the years that I've been using it, so I think it's worth a go, its also totally free to use, so you've got nothing to lose.
