Be very careful

Be very careful, the products look good in picture but the quality is very poor. It looks like your getting a huge discount but in fact your paying way over the odds for a product that’s worth pennies.

Stained glass book case lamp arrived…

Stained glass book case lamp arrived non working. This was at the end of December 2024. Still waiting for a refund/replacement.

Total scam

Total scam. Bought a 'stained glass' lamp...it was just painted plastic. I have tried an entire week to contact the company and no response.

Ships from China... Eventually

The item ordered was exactly as advertised, but it took almost a month to get to me. This website needs a "ships from China whenever we get around to it" disclaimer at the top. I ordered in plenty of time for Christmas, it didn't show up until after the new year. Every other order I made the same day made it just fine, even items from overseas, except this one. Never again.

Stained glass books lamp a huge disappointment

Received the stained glass books lamp from Moderny as a gift. I wish I could post photos of what was advertised compared to what I received. The quality of the actual piece was the worst thing I’ve ever seen. It looked like a two year old made it. It is very cheap plastic, and the paint job is a total slop job. Don’t spend your money on it. $39.99!! It looks like it’s worth $1.50

Ordered a lamp that’s supposed to look…

Ordered a lamp that’s supposed to look like a stack of books, the photo on their site looked good.

What arrived after several weeks from china is cheaply made garbage whose colors and build quality are shoddy at best. Oh and it arrived broken.

Attempts to contact via email (the only method…) result in computer generated responses with no response in the past ten days as to a status of a “replacement product”. At this point i don’t even want a new product (it will be the same junk quality anyway…) and will be initiating a charge back if Moderny does not make this right. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Beautiful Pillow Covers

The pillow covers came and were very nice. The screen print picture was very vibrant and clear. Ordering was easy and shipping confirmations were sent. This is 3rd order, so I’m very satisfied with product and the Company.

Never seen this before...email of lies

Never seen this before...an email full of lies to trick people into buying more with a discount code seemingly meant for friends and family of employees (mentions Simon and then Rebecca). The email addresses don't actually exist so this is obviously a ploy to get more people's money. I have no idea if purchasers would get their items or not, or what the quality would be, but from other reviews it appears this isn't a reliable company. I DID email the emails from "Simon" and "Rebecca" to hello @ moderny.co and their reply below is downright laughable.

Luxury throws

The throws i purchased, all four of them are of such high quality. Thick, heavy and weighted......and quite luxurious. Delivery to the UK is as quick as it could possibly be.

Beware Currency Exchange!!

After my order, I spent $245 Australian thinking I got a bargain as everything was discounted, I noticed that a total of $395 + $11.00 for exchange has been deducted from my account!!! What the hell!! Nowhere did it mentioned that we were working in foreign currency. When I requested my order be cancelled I have heard nothing back after 2 attempts?? Looks like I will have to chalk it up to my bad for being a bit dumb in this respect. But at the same time told them I would write a review just so other dumbos like me won't part with twice the amount that they wanted to....kicking myself really!

Buyers be very wary!!

I cant put up a picture of what I got versus what they showed on their website, but it's criminal. I ordered this gorgeous looking "stack of books" lamp done in stained glass with gorgeous mission colors and what came after 4 weeks of waiting was an absolute piece of "tiny" garbage that looked nothing like the picture.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE: I ORDERED A DESK LAMP SHAPED LIKE A STACK OF BOOKS WEEKS AGO. THIS OUTFIT CHARGED MY CC BUT HAS NOT SENT ME A CONFIRMATION NOR A TRACKING NUMBER NOR THE ITEM ITSELF. I HAVE EMAILED THEM (SINCE IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CALL THEM) MULTIPLE TIMES. DESPITE CLAIMING TO HAVE 24 HOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY HAVE REFUSED TO RESPOND. THEY WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY EITHER.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS OUTFIT.

I ordered a glass book lamp

I ordered a glass book lamp. I received this tiny plastic piece of junk not worth $79 probably worth $5. Highly disappointed as this was for my daughter Christmas present.
They asked what country I am from to ensure the correct plug and its battery operated.

I will be return customer for sure.

Initially, I had concerns when the gift I ordered for a friend did not arrived after several weeks. I contacted Monderny and a good person named Angelo assisted. He kept in contact with me and made sure my package was delivered to my friend in good time. I ordered the book lamp and my friend who is an author loved it.

SCAM. Flagrant false advertising racket. AVOID

They sent a product that didn't even come close to the product advertised (appalling quality), it looked like a child had made a copy, and then when you try to return the falsely advertised product, it costs x4 times the cost of the item to return it. SCAM. Avoid at all costs !

**EDIT: Don't let their reply to this review fool you. The only 'help' they provided was to send me a link to buy a return label for $180 for items that cost $50 and haven't acknowledged the fact that they sent a different product from the product shown in the photo.
