Terrible product and service at Moderny

My stained glass book lamp arrived and looked nothing like the pictures. Cheap paint and product. I requested a full refund but was offered a credit or 30% back. Upon my second request, they said I could ship it back but it must be unopened! How would I know the product quality without opening it? I would never buy from them again. This company has terrible business practices.

The product I received was…a decorative elephant

The product I received was disappointing and not of the quality I was expecting. It's gold tucks, which looked like gold leaf in the advert were actually poorly painted with a low quality gold paint which had been badly applied

Ordered two throws on 21st September

Ordered two throws on 21st September. I have not yet even been told they've been shipped. Checked the tracking and have found they're coming from China and are still there! Have emailed in but no reply. Will be cancelling if not received by end of the week

Terrible company stay away!!

Terrible company. Shipped a broken product to me. The quality of the product was a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. Would not give a refund, forced to take a gift card to order more trash. Pathetic company. Stay away!

I order 4 bamboo glass jars

I order 4 bamboo glass jars. Two of the four shattered in transport. The company representative was timely, professional and more than happy to assist me with this matter. I was informed every step of the way. After I received the replacement jars. The representative confirmed with me to make sure I received them. I love good customer service. Ordered the stained glass book lamp

Ordered the stained glass book lamp. Received a nasty cheap lump of badly painted plastic I would not even put out in a garage sale. It looks nothing like the advertisement. Have contacted Moderny to arrange a return. Happy to pay the postage - Moderny's return method requires me to pay $267 US dollars to process the return. I am horrified but not surprised.

1 Oct - Moderny office confirms return label fee correct. This is a clear method to avoid returns. Given the previous reviews the company is in full knowledge of the low quality of the product. The reply to this review is disingenuous.

Not as advertised

I do not feel what was advertised was what I received. “Stained glass book lamp” was not made of glass nor was it high quality. I spent $40 to get a cheap looking, plastic stack of books that when lit up, you can clearly see the paint lines of a crappy paint job.

I was weary about this company at first…

I was weary about this company at first because it popped up as an ad of Facebook. However, I placed an order then soon emailed to cancel it. They immediately responded and asked why and offered competitive price for the item I wanted. It did come in a timely manner and the item was beautiful. I also received multiple correspondence with customer service until I receive the item, which didn't take long and they even emailed me back to see if I received it and if I was satisfied, which I was

Not my sort of quality

The order received today was a goodwill gesture due to poor quality of a previous order.
This replacement is even worse. The items are cheap and nasty. The sort if things you would put in a Christmas cracker. To be honest they have responded quickly and have offered to resolve the issue. So their customer service is very helpful.

Nice and easy.

Easy ordering. Attractive and well made product. Postage tracking worked well. Product was well packaged and protected in transit. Frequent emails to confirm order progress and seek feedback - just enough, any more emails would be annoying. And I like the booklamp! I didn't realize at the time of ordering that it is battery operated but I do like that there are no trailing wires and that it can be placed anywhere.
